Okay, so I've been getting a lot of comments saying, "Why aren't Jane and Carlos together?" and "Why are Jay and Audrey together?"

This was written before Descendants 2 and 3 came out. Like way before it came out. In the first movie, I didn't ship Jane and Carlos together. I didn't think they had any chemistry. I also thought Jane was super annoying.

I loved Lonnie so I thought why not?

And the whole Jay and Audrey thing. At the end of Descendants (the first one), they danced together, and I thought they were actually really cute.

Also, this story is only supposed to be related to Descendants 1 so anything that is now canon because of 2 & 3 will not necessarily be how it is in this book.

So if y'all really hate that, then you can by all means stop reading. I would go change it, but that means I would have to change things in this book and in Set it Off. And also, neither of these things have really anything to do with either plot. I don't think it's important at all, and I honestly don't know why it matters.

Like the only couples that are important in this story are Bal and maybe Dracul and Melody. That's about it.

I'm sorry that I ruined some of y'all's ships, but again, it doesn't really matter with the plot AT ALL.
