~Paige~

I stood there in front of the mirror as I stared at myself.
This was it.
I was going to become Mrs. Sparks.

I brought down my hand and felt the texture of my Elie Saab dress- my dream dress, and smiled. It was happening- my dream wedding with my dream guy.

"Oh Paige, you look astonishing," my mom chirped as she hugged me,
"I can't believe this day has finally arrived."

"Me too."

"Oh baby. I don't want to let you go," she sighed as her eyes teared up.

"Mom!" I sighed, "I don't want to cry and ruin my makeup," I said as I fanned my face to prevent the tears from falling.

"Yes. Yes. Sorry," she said, wiping her tears.

Dad then came in holding a box, a wide smile plastered on his face.

"We got you something to complete your elegant look."

He opened the box and revealed a gleaming diamond set, the prettiest thing I'd ever seen, extinguished magically by its dazzling beauty.

"Oh. Mom, Dad thank you," I said as I turned so Dad could put the necklace.

"It's stunning."

"It is. You look so beautiful," Dad said as he nodded.

"I'm so happy," Jane chirped as she walked in, holding my bouquet.

"Do you know now what I've always told you about love? It's the best thing to ever happen to a person," she said, hugging me.

"Yes Jane, I now do."

"Everyone's here and ready," Chloé said as she walked in her pink Berta dress that carefully hugged her body and showed off her beautiful curves.

"I would have never pictured you getting married before me."

"Me too," I chuckled.

"I love you so much and I'm so glad to have made it up to here with you and be your maid of honour."

"I'm so glad too. Couldn't have asked for someone better. I love you Chloé."

"I love you too P," she said as she hugged me.

Looking at my mom and Jane, she started clapping.
"Come on let's go cry together," she said and the three of them walked out of the room.

"Are you ready?" Dad then asked nervously.

"Yes." I nodded as I took a deep breath and picked up my bouquet.
Always for Dylan.

"You'll always be my baby girl. If Dylan ever messes up, you know where to go to. We're always going to be there for you."

"I love you Dad and I'll always be your little Paige."

"I love you too," he said as he kissed my hand, tearing up.

Walking down the staircase which was filled with pastel coloured flowers, I smiled. This was my day- my fantasy and I had never been happier.

Every girl has a girly side and I spent six months with Mom, Chloé and Dylan preparing for this spectacular wedding. We picked a pastel theme and worked on it so much so that it'll reach our expectations.

"This is it, baby girl. You're Paige Williams, but in a few minutes Paige Sparks. Take a deep breath."

"Are you ready to become Mrs. Sparks?"

I smiled as I nodded and took a deep breath.

Stepping into the garden, I felt like it was a dream. I didn't believe that it was me who was getting married.

The best kind of love is the unexpected, the one that isn't easy to get, the love that's worth suffering for.

The love I feared, yet the love everyone looked forward to.
This was the love shared between Dylan and I- the eternal love.

Walking down the aisle with my father, I saw all the guests smiling warmly and waving at me.

I had all the people I loved standing beside me today.

The second Dylan's eyes met mine, the rest of the world disappeared. It was just me and him.

This felt like forever to me. This mere second, this day, this person was my forever.

Eyes still locked with Dylan, my dad handed me to him.

"I love you," he mouthed and I smiled, feeling my heart's pace increasing.

Of all the times he said he loved me, this time it affected me the most. This was my favourite.

(Those in italics could be skipped, they're what the priest says)

-Priest: Dearly beloved we are gathered here to unite these two people in marriage. Their decision
to marry has not been entered into lightly and today they publicly
declare their private devotion to each other. The essence of this
commitment is the acceptance of each other in entirety, as lover,
companion, and friend...
...
First, I am required to ask anyone present who knows a reason why these persons may not lawfully marry, to declare it now.

A minute later the priest looked at us and smiled.

-Priest: Dylan Sparks, do you take Paige Williams to be your wife?
Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honour and protect her,
and, forsaking all others,
be faithful to her as long as you both shall live?

"I do."

-Priest: Paige Williams do you take Dylan Sparks to be your lawfully wedded husband?
Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honour and protect him,
and, forsaking all others,
be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?

"I do."

-Priest: Dylan and Paige, I now invite you to join hands and make your vows, in the presence of God and his people.

Dylan held my right hand and smiled staring into my eyes.

We agreed not to say the vows while rehearsing so that on the wedding day it'll be the first time we'd hear it.

"One thing I will always remember about meeting you is how I just always wanted you around. When I get lost you'd always be there to bring me back. I never knew I could be the happiest man alive until I met you. Thank you for the countless days we spent together, for saving me, for coming into my life and turning it around, for believing in me and loving me. Paige, I cannot imagine a day of my life without you. I pledge the rest of my life to you and I promise to love you forever and more."

"I love you," I whispered as we loose hands.

The priest then looked at me and asked me to proceed.

I took his right hand and smiled.
"Dylan. My love for you will never fade. It's infinite, formless, unshakeable and unbreakable. In the best worst, cheerful, and darkest times, know that I'll always be there for you, believing in you and loving you fully. I will love you until I have nothing else left. I give you my heart forever."

Martin brought the rings on a cushion as he giggled at us, waving while the priest took the rings. I shook my head and smiled.

Priest: Heavenly Father, by your blessing let these rings be to Dylan and Paige a symbol of unending love and faithfulness, to remind them of the vow and covenant which they have made this day through Jesus Christ our Lord.

"I give you this ring
as a pledge of my love and commitment."

As I released his hand, Dylan picked one of the rings and held my left hand, slipping it into my finger.

"I give you this ring as a pledge of my love and commitment," I said as I slid the ring into his finger.

-Priest: I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.

"Mrs. Sparks," Dylan whispered before he softly kissed me.

💍💍💍

"There's no escaping now. You're mine forever,"
Dylan whispered while we had our first dance.

"True. You're stuck with me now."

"The best thing to ever happen," he whispered before twirling me and kissing me.

"I love you. Forever and always."

"Look at Chloé and Alex, to the left."
I looked to my left and saw Alex smiling and definitely flirting as they danced.

"I've been seeing Chloé and Alex hang out a lot after rehearsal."

"He had always requested to meet me there so that he could drop Chloé home."

"I think there's something between them."

"Me too. It's about time Alex finds someone."

I noticed Alex whisper something in Chloé's ear, making her smile shyly. Alex then looked over at us, giving Dylan a smirk and a wink making Chloé and I giggle at their little exchange.

"I'm happy for both of them."

He then leaned and whispered, "I can't wait to get your dress off."
He tangled both his hands with mine and kissed me.

"I love this dress and everything."

"Worth the six months of preparations?"

"Definitely."

"Everything was perfect today."

"Everything is perfect with you," he said as he brought up my hand and kissed it.

"If only your parents were here with us today"

"I wish."

"I'm sure they're both watching us from above and they're very proud of you."

"Paige?" I heard Martin's voice as he tugged on my dress.

"Yes Martin?" I smiled.

"Please can I dance with you Paige?" Martin asked as he gave a wide smile.

"Of course," I chuckled as Dylan laughed.

I held his hand and winked.
Tugging on my dress, he signalled to me to reach to his level. Following his request, I bent down as much as I could, trying to listen to what he wanted to say.

"You're so pretty. I want to tell you something but please don't tell Dylan."

Oh uh what did he do?

"Don't worry tell me," I assured him as I held his hand.

He sighed as he took a deep breath, "I love you."

I chuckled and looked up at Dylan.

"What are you guys planning?" Dylan asked as he looked at us suspiciously.

"To run away with Martin." I winked.

Dylan then picked up Martin, laughing.

"Are you trying to steal my wife, Mr. Martin?"

"She's very pretty." Martin pouted.

"She is," Dylan said as he looked at me and kissed my hand.

"Kiss her," Martin blurted.

Dylan then smiled and kissed my cheek before looking at Martin.
Martin crossed his arms, dissatisfied as he pouted.

"Not there."

I gave Dylan a confused look.
"Where then?"

Martin then gave a mischievous smirk before pointing to my lips.

"Your mom will get angry with us."

"Please Dylan," he pleaded.
Dylan then shook his head before leaning and giving me a peck.
Martin squealed as he clapped his hands excitedly.

"Your mom is going to shout at us for spoiling you."

"Indeed," Martin's mother said, shaking her head at Martin.
She then kissed Dylan and I, congratulating us.

"Your mother and father would have been so proud, Dylan."

"Come on Martin, let's leave Dylan and Paige."
Dylan brought down Martin and hugged him.

"Bye Dylan and Paige," Martin said as he hugged both of us, "I love you."
