Chloé: Be there in five x
I dropped the phone on the table and took a sip from my lemonade. As the cool liquid caressed my tongue, I felt a hard cold metal pressed against my back.
"Hello pretty. You won't get hurt if you cooperate," a mid-aged blond guy said as he sat in front of me, giving a fake smile.
I moved my hand to my back and felt the metal, my gaze still on the table.
I felt the hard metal with hands clasped around it and fingers pressed lightly on the trigger.
A gun, my heart stopped beating.
I gasped, feeling my bones tremble as my body stiffened.
"Do not scream or react. Just act normal if you want your precious life."
Death was the last thing on my mind. I couldn't process anything; all I could see was how the liquid in my cup danced as my hand trembled.
I just took deep breaths to calm myself.
"Just get up and follow me to the car."
I looked past him and stared at the waiter who was approaching, hoping he'd pass by and ask if everything was alright and notice that something was up.
"Is everything alright? Do you want something?" The waiter asked as he looked at both of us.
I wanted to scream no. I wanted to cry my eyes out.
"Yes. Just a little misunderstanding with my girlfriend. Nothing much," the guy said as he faked a smile, holding my hand.
"Isn't it right?" he sweetly said as he looked at me, his eyes burning a hole through me as he squeezed my hand further.
I looked up at the waiter with desperate eyes, "y-yes, yes it is."
The waiter then nodded and sighed as he walked away.
Everyone looked calm except me.
Why couldn't they see what was going on? Why could no one save me from these men?
I then remembered Chloé's text and decided to drop my phone. I placed my hand on the table and slid my phone without making anything seem suspicious, making sure I step on the screen with my heels and break it to leave some clues.
"Time is ticking, princess. Get up."
Words wouldn't form so I just nodded as I unhooked the bracelet Dylan got me and dropped it.
I felt my stomach drop to my feet as a deep numb feeling filled me up. I slowly pushed my chair backwards and stood up.
I didn't dare turn around to see the other guy who was holding the gun.
Looking around, I scanned the people around me who were sipping their drinks, eating or chatting.
I furrowed my brows as I gulped, hoping to get noticed, but failing. No one noticed a thing.
"Isn't this amazing?" the guy whispered in my ear as he held my hand and led me to the car.
I was trembling with fear. I didn't know where they were taking me or why. I couldn't even react. I was too scared to do or say anything.
The knots in my stomach grew as we approached the black Mercedes whose lights flickered as the guy who held my hand unlocked the car.
I could hear the clicking sound my heels made with the ground as I dragged my numb legs along the road.
Every single little unimportant thing caught my attention and I took slow deep breaths suddenly finding it difficult to breathe.
Everytime I flinched, I felt the hard metal pressed against my back, reminding me of the dangers. There was no way out. I couldn't escape.
Finally feeling the hardness of the gun against my back being removed, I got into the car and turned to look at the table I was sitting on.
I let out a breath as I saw Chloé reach the table, picking up my phone. I hoped that she'd call Dylan and not my parents first.
I was certain that this act had something to do with Montero. I knew they'd eventually find out about me but I always tried to be optimistic and think otherwise.
Who was I kidding? I saw this coming.
"I'd keep you safe with all I've got." Save me Dylan before they hurt me.
I wasn't mad or angry at Dylan for not being able to stop Montero from reaching to me.
I wasn't even hurt. I knew it wasn't easy to do so and Dylan had tried his best. Sometimes things don't go as planned and things get messed up. But what we should know is that everything will be okay.
"Where are you taking me?"
"Somewhere," the guy said as he winked at me before bringing the phone to his ear.
"We got her....Yes...Got it," I heard the guy sitting next to me as he spoke on the phone. I looked through the window, trying to calm my fears and raging thoughts.
Replaying all the good times with Dylan, I tried to get my mind off my current predicament. It was the only thing that could keep me calm.
I then felt cold fingers on my thighs and flinched, turning my gaze.
I looked at the pervert sitting next to me with wide eyes before I settled my eyes on where his hand was.
He then started moving upwards, sending chills as my legs trembled with fear under his touch, my heart wanting to come out of its cage.
"You're lucky I've been given strict orders," he whispered as he got his hands off and I let out a breath.
I definitely knew what he meant and I didn't dare meet his eyes.
After approximately thirty minutes, the car came to a halt.
Before I could grasp my surroundings or think, the guy who was holding the gun against my back earlier pulled me out hastily, before carrying me over his shoulder and slamming the car's door shut.
"Let me go," I shouted as I wriggled away from his grip.
"Put me down," I furiously slapped, kicked and bit him.
"If you don't shut the fuck up, we'll tie you up and cover your eyes."
I calmed down and did as told and they laughed once I did.
They then led me through several doors reaching to a large room.
"Boss. She's here," the perverted guy said as the one carrying me dropped me on my feet.
A dim lighting filled the room making the guards visible at each corner of the room, making me feel more nervous than I really was.
In front of me was a desk and behind it was a person seated on the chair, constantly swaying it left and right, his back facing me, not allowing me to see his face.
"Good." A deep voice said and the guy behind it wouldn't show up.
I backed away and landed in a pair of strong arms. These strong arms weren't the strong arms I was used to. They didn't hold me with such a delicate touch. I couldn't smell the signature scent I always adored. They weren't my Dylan's strong arms. They held me too tightly, squeezing my hands together.
"Hello again," the same annoying perverted guy said as he smirked.
"Fuck you," I riled as I bit his arm and struggled to get free, but his arms wouldn't budge.
Just then I felt a sharp pain shoot up my leg and I screamed. I turned my head to see a man removing a small needle from my leg and my eyes widened in shock and fear.
My limbs were slowly getting heavy and my legs feeling lighter as ever. My head felt heavy and I felt my vision clouding over.
"What did..." I couldn't continue the rest of the statement for the world had vanished from my eyes, leaving darkness.
Save me Dylan.
•••••
I woke up with my arms tied behind my back. They were sore and stiff. As I opened my eyes groggily, I was met with complete darkness, and the smell of cigarette smoke filling my nostrils.
Where was I?
I bolted up as the memories and realization hit me.
I was weak, tired, sore and dizzy. I wiggled in my chair as I let out a scream, tears trickling down.
Just then the door burst open and I blinked as I winced at the sudden sunlight attacking my eyes.
"Paige Williams," an oddly familiar voice said as I heard footsteps getting closer.
I then looked up and recognized his face as my heart dropped to my feet.
The same guy from Vegas.
Montero.
"It's an honor meeting Dylan's weakness."
I turned my face away and gritted my teeth.
"I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just using you to get to him," he said as he stood in front of me, turning my face so I could look at him.
"Love had always made people weak. You see we've always tried to get to Dylan or stop him from getting to us but we couldn't and he always had it his way. When I found out I could use you to torture him and get what I want since he becomes weak when it's comes to you."
I knew the exact thoughts that would be running through Dylan's mind once he finds out. He'd put the blame on himself for staying and for not being able to keep me safe. But I never wanted safe I wanted to be with him.
I just didn't want them to hurt him once they get to him.
"Don't...don't hurt him, please."
I knew they weren't going to hurt me, it was him who they needed.
I didn't want Dylan getting hurt. I wasn't scared of getting hurt because I knew Dylan wouldn't let them hurt me. I was scared of not making it and I was scared of making it without Dylan, without that one person I wanted to spend my life with.
I just wanted us both safe and out of this together.
"We gave him so many chances, but he didn't stop. He almost got us destroyed. That was before I found out about you."
"We need some really important things from him and with you, we could easily get them. I just hope he won't be stubborn."
Oh my Dylan.
I shook my head erasing the thoughts of what they might do to him.
I had to be strong for him so he wouldn't get affected.
°Hold on tight Paige.
