Chapter 1
"Come on Maggie you have to cheer up it's been two years!" My Aunt said as we walked through the mall.
"Yay, well it feels like yesterday," I mutter as I walked next to her in my black hoddie with the hood up.
It had two years since the faithful day. The day my family died. I had moved in with my very perky Aunt Jonie. She kept insisting I call her mom, but I just stuck with her first name, Amanda.
"It shouldn't take two years to get over your parents and siblings death," She said.
"How would you know your parents and my father didn't die when you were twelve," I spat.
She gave me a look and I gave her the same look back. She never could figure out why I treated her the way I did.
"Let's go in here Maggie!" She said as she grabbed my hand pulling me into a dress store.
"Do we have to be here?" I muttered as she held up a light blue dress.
"What do you think of it Maggie?" She asked completely ignoring my question.
"I don't like it. I don't like the mall," I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Fine, well go home. But, don't blame me when you don't have any friends," She said.
I rolled my eyes in response and we walked out of the store. We walked out of the mall and over to her bright pink convertible. I climbed into the passenger seat and buckled. I turned and looked out of the window as she started to drive.
We finally got home and on our doorstep was Jenny. She stood as she saw our car pull up. I got out of the car and walked over to Jenny.
"How you doing Maggie?" Jenny asked.
"Fine I guess..." I said and shugged.
"Ok, you want to come over to my house soon?" Jenny asked, seeming really excited.
"Sure," I said and started towards the front door.
"Girls, why don't you come inside?" My Aunt said as she held the door open.
Jenny walked past me, with my slow walking pace that wasn't that hard to do, and inside.
I followed her slowly, most would call the way I walk sulking, and followed Jenny into the kitchen.
She plopped down in a chair and grinned, I have no clue how she and my aunt were always this happy.
"Jenny, would you like something to eat? Or a drink?" My aunt asked as she opened the fridge.
"No thank you, I'm good," Jenny said and leaned over to table so she was almost in my face.
My long strawberry blonde hair covered my left eye and I just looked at her like she was a crazy idiot.
"I can't wait to show you what I made!" Jenny chirped and moved away from my face.

I am so sorry this took forever, I have a sorta small case of writers block and school seems to hate me.
Between friend problems and school I've really only had time to role play. So if you're complaining that I haven't updated in forever and I'm always on, just shut up. I also know I left this at a bad spot, but trust me, I know what I'm doing.
