First try...WHY?!
Aizawa's POV:
Me: Better?
The poor boy looked me into the eyes and nodded. It surprised me to find a kid in this place. He looked scared and he was also hiding in that room. If I didn't pick his hitched breathing up, he would for sure still be hiding from us.
Me: Don't talk yet. Just relax.
The greenette only looked at me before facing the ground. He now looked like he was lost in memories and his own mind.
Me: Don't worry kid. You are saved now. We are all pro heroes. I'm Eraserhead.
I was there for the kid, he looked like he needed it and not soon after I put him on the ground Zashi came over to us and I faced him. However since I didn't know if that kid was kidnapped or a part of that villain group, I was still having my guard up.
You could never be too careful after all.
Zashi: Sho... Where did you find that kid?
Me: In the room we were in.
Zashi: Did you call an ambulance yet?
Me: No.
Zashi: I'm calling one then.
Me: Don't. We bring him back to UA, let Chiyo have a look at him.
Zashi: Sounds good too.
While me and my husband were talking together, I saw the kid just there and look at the floor. He looked not only scared but also sad. If he would have been part of the villain group then here was the perfect opportunity for him to attack and yet he didn't.
An ambulance was a good idea, but I didn't know what the kid had at all. He looked very week. Since UA was closer by than any hospital, it is only the saver bet to go there. Not only that but we might also get to know who that kid was.
I went down to the kid's eye level and began talking to him. The moment I did that he tried to get away more by moving backwards. Too bad for him that he was leaning against a wall.
Me: Kid, listen. No one is gonna hurt you. I'll bring you to a place where a friend of mine can check you up.
He didn't node nor did he react much beside flinch the moment I tried to come closer. Red flags were popping up all over my mind. His whole reactions were not right. At this point I was sure I was talking to a scared animal than anything else.
Zashi: Little listener?
There was still no reaction. He was looking at the ground and I could see some tears welling in his eyes.
Me: I'll pick you up now.
No reaction again.
I took this as confirmation and went ahead and picked him up. He was way to light for a kid and all he did was curl up a little bit.
Me: It's okay kid.
The fasted way for us to get to UA was either me sprinting there or taking the car me and Zashi came here. Just thinking about the options, I was sure that the second option would be a lot better.
Zashi: Should I start the car?
Me: Yes.
This was how I we went to the car, placed him in the backseat right next to me and Zashi drove us to UA. Just 15 minutes later and we were in the infirmary. I placed him on a bed.
Me: You tired kid?
A nod. The kid was finally responding to me and he also looked up and looked me into the eyes. Seeing this, I went ahead and tried to challenge my luck and see if he would tell me his name or anything. Even if it was only hearing his voice one.
Me: Can you tell me your name?
However the moment I asked that my husband came in with Recovery Girl and Nezu.
Recovery Girl: *gasp*
It was the first time in my life to hear Recovery Girl gasp and also see her eyes go wide just by seeing how bad the kid looked like. Her expression quickly moved to anger and then to calmness again. Not soon after she began approaching the kid.
Recovery Girl: Hello dearie! I'm Recovery Girl. Would you let me check you up?
And again, the kid looked like he zoomed out. He was not responsive at all.
Nezu: Where did you find him?
Me: In the villain lair of that villain group you send us in.
Nezu: .... I see....
I watched Recovery Girl go ahead and check him up. After a while she looked at us in concern.
Recovery Girl: Follow me outside.
Just like that we all left the room. It was such a bad idea to let the kid be alone in there. However at that time no one knew that.
Once we were outside we all listened to what Recovery Girl had to tell us.
Recovery Girl: The kid is very weak. I don't know what happened to him but at this moment I am not able to heal him at all. His body wouldn't withstand it. From what I can tell he has faced so many hardships.
Zashi: How bad is his situation?
Recovery Girl: .... I think that the poor kid can't feel any pain. He might also not be able to tell the difference in temperature. His lungs are not fully functional. Luckily he doesn't have any internal bleedings or any wounds. What worries me is his immune system. I don't think that he has a great one. Just by looking at his vitals I can tell you guys that he gets sick very easy and his body can't stand a lot of hardship nor stress. This is why I wanted you out of the room. His pulse began spiking and I was sure that his health would be at risk.
Nezu: I see. I'll try and find out who that kid is.
Recovery Girl: He must have lived on the street for a while now.
Me: Where will he stay?
Recovery Girl: In the infirmary close to me for the time being until I can asset the full situation of his health.
Zashi: Poor little listener.
The moment he said, we could hear something crashing to the ground from inside the room and we all immediately dashed for the door and opened it. However what we saw next was so sad and shocking that no one of us dared to approach the kid for one whole second.
He had a scalpel in his hand and did a cut mark on his neck. The sound we heard was him falling to the ground with the weapon in his hand and throwing over some stuff too. Once we recovered from the sight Recovery Girl immediately went to him and began to stop the bleeding.
Recovery Girl: Get me the first aid kid from the wall!!!
I immediately did what she said and went to the kid's side. He looked so pale and I couldn't understand why he just did that. The greenette tried to kill himself in an infirmary while 4 pro heroes were standing outside the same room he was in. Just by looking at his neck, I could tell that he was lucky and missed his vital spot. The cut on its own wasn't too deep either.
Recovery Girl was left with no choice but to tend to the wound the old fashion way and bandage it up once she was done.
Nezu: That was quite the scare.
Me: He's coming with me! I'll keep an eye on him!
Recovery Girl: Call me if his health worsens.
Me: I will.
I took the kid in my arms bridal stile and looked at his pale face. My husband came over to us and patted the kid's hair.
Zashi: I'll help take care of him.
Nezu: I can set you up in one of the dorms.
The dorm system was something Nezu came up after we confirmed that All Might would teach here. There was a huge possibility for any villain to go after All Might while he was teaching a class or even try to get their hands on the students and use them against the symbol of peace. This was why we had a dorm system for the students and the teachers lived near UA.
Recovery Girl: That would be good idea.
Me: Fine but not close to my class.
Nezu: How about something close to the woods?
Zashi: I think that might have a relaxing and calming effect on the little listener.
Me: Sounds good.
Just like that we accepted his offer and went home. I knew that he would make Cementoss and Power Loader make us a house in the area close to the forest part of UA. This way at least, the kid could get immediately help if needed since Recovery Girl and Nezu both lived on the property of UA.
