Bethany would be the first to admit that long distance is hard. But she was handling it fine. The time difference was totally fucking their sleep schedules, but neither one cared. They'd been together almost three weeks and quite honestly things were great. Bethany had never realized how amazing relationships could be. Sebastian was putting real effort into this. He wanted this just as much  as she did. It was so different to her relationship with Luke. And she loved it.
   When she woke up she had three texts from Sebastian.

Baby girl😍 - GOOD MORNING 🥰 I miss you and I'm sorry about basically everything about yesterday

💕Sebster💕 - you seem to be in a good mood today. Any particular reason?
Baby girl 😍 - Nope it's just nice out today and I'm not letting myself be grumpy

💕Sebster💕 - not much. Mostly driving then unloading, set up/rehearsal and then the show

💕Sebster💕 - so fun. What are you up to?
Baby girl😍 - well it's Saturday so I don't have work but I think Kris and I are gonna hang out
Baby girl😍 - I might see if Shy wants to get lunch or something too and I'm gonna call my mom in an hour or so.

Reluctantly Bethany put her phone down and got out of bed. After her shower she called her mom while she drank her coffee.
"Hi, Mom."
"Hi, sweetie. How are you?"
"Honestly? Not bad. Kinda tired and a little bleh. Y'know, but all in all I feel pretty good."
"That's good."
"How are you and Dad?"
"Oh you know us. Old and tired." They both laughed. "I'm still not used to how quiet the house is without you here."
"I can imagine. It was weird getting used to not seeing you guys every day."
"How's Andy?"
"Good. I think. To be honest I don't see him that much. I'm up and gone by eight and he's either out or just getting up when I leave."
"Hmm. I should call him."
"Or I could pester him into calling you if you want."
"That would work too. So, tell me, what's new with you?"
"Um, well, I have a boyfriend."
"You do?!"
"Yeah. We've been together since the first of January."
"That's great sweetie. What's his name?"
"Sebastian. He's Remington's older brother."
"Oh. That's nice. What's he like?"
"Oh, Mom. He's so sweet!" Bethany laid back and stretched her legs out on the couch. "He's on tour right now in the UK so trying to talk has been kinda a pain in the ass 'cos of the time difference, but we're making the best of it. Yesterday the time difference totally slipped my mind and I woke him up at like three in the morning, but he was really sweet. He told me I could call or text him any time day or night for any reason and then said that relationships are about being there for the other. And oh my gosh! Mom I didn't realize what I was missing when I was with Luke."
"You sound happy."
"I am. I really am. And-oh my gosh! Is that really the time?! I'm sorry Mom I have to go. Tell Daddy I love him."
"Alright. Bye, sweetie."
"Bye Mom." Bethany ended the call and ran upstairs to get dressed and do her makeup. Just as she was finishing Kris started ringing the doorbell. Bethany became aware that Kris was one of those people who stands and rings the doorbell repeatedly until you open the door.
"I'm coming! Jeez you're annoying!" Bethany yelled as she descended the stairs. The opened the door and fired at Kris who just smiled. "Good morning." Kris's hair was up in a messy bun and she was wearing a black t-shirt that was too big for her and looked oddly familiar.
"Morning! Ready to go?"
"Yup!" Bethany locked the door and followed Kris to the car.
