Hi. So this one is supposed to be as quick as I can (I will still do a normal length chapter) so I guess I am just going to mention one person: orangepotatogirl. I planned on updating this chapter in a few days but the comments made me laugh so I was like what the heck?

BTW This chapter seems to have e a lot of perspective switches and time skips so it's a little different.

Lastly if you are wondering why there is no image I will try to change that later by my phone keeps glitching out and I have certain images for each chapter so it's annoying to figure it out on the computer... I'll fix it later

Lucy's P.O.V.

My seat was next to this girl named Flare. She's pretty but not very popular because of her lack of social skills do to the environment she grew up in. She didn't join our school to long ago. Flare isn't mean to me but I wouldn't say she's exactly nice either. We just don't talk. I guess I could appreciate that at least.

Th teacher went on about something that I already learned, so for the period I pretty much just sat there.

Lazy week time skip brought to you by warm cheezits (idk wtf I was writing but that is literally what is in my notebook so why not?)

It's been about a week. I have been trying to stay clear of Natsu and everyone, at least in areas with lots of people. I don't want to become suspicious either. I guess I've also grown a little attached to them which is bad.

I have been doing the same thing for Lisanna mostly except for the English project she is working on.

I was heading to lunch when Lisanna went up waving at me. "Lucy-chan! Lucy-chan!" I stopped in my tracks after hearing her voice. As she caught up to me she put her hands on her knees catching her breath.

'seriously bitch? You 'jog' a few feet and you need to what? Catch you're breath?' Lucy kept her inner thoughts under control and listened to what she had to say.

"Just wanted to say hi!" I innerly face palmed at the nerve of this bitch. 'Breathe Lucy, breathe. Just smile and nod.' After Lisanna skipped in the direction towards the... library? Well that's surprising.

Lissana's P.O.V.

I finally found it! The gossip to ruin her so that even Natsu won't like her. Today is going to be a good day.

Time Skip Next Day

Lucy's P.O.V.

People were presenting projects today. I wonder what Natsu will think of from this project... I started fantasizing before realizing what I was doing. Quickly stopping I reminded myself why we couldn't be friends.

I walked into the first period of the day which lead to Natsu dragging me to the seat next to him. I don't want to be a burden... why doesn't he understand? (Cause he's Natsu)

Natsu's P.O.V.

I've hung out with Luce a lot but she's started to push me away. Does she not like me? she never lets me walker her home or hang out outside of school. She sometimes even ignores me during the day.

I decided to pull her to they seat next to mine so we could at least talk for a bit by my plan backfired she the teacher entered to start class. Dammit. (Natsu... I'm concerned, did you not realize that all the students came because class was starting?)

Lucy's P.O.V.

Class finished quickly. Levy was about to make conversation before Natsu grabbed my hand dragging me to English. We were supposed to sit with are partners so I went over to Lissana. She had that evil smirk plastered on her face again but I decided just to ignore it.

Students went up to the front of the class projecting their presentation. After I did mine it was Lisanna's turn. Walking down the isles her grin only grew.

Once Lisanna was about to start the teacher interrupted her, his voice sounding a little to forced for my taste, "I forgot *nervous chuckle* Lucy can you bring this paper to Mr. Makarov's desk?" With a nod I took the papers from his hands and left. I got back to class only to see that it had finished. I knew something was up.

Natsu must have been dragged away by his friends because he would usually be waiting for me. Maybe he wanted a break from me... he needs it.

I head over to my next class, math.

Time Skip

now it's lunch, and of course I don't have anything to eat... again. I started heading over to the cherry blossom tree where I start having lunch. Natsu hasn't talked to me sense then. I should be happy...

As I was walking on the path I take towards my lunch spot I heard Natsu talking to what looked like Lisanna. "Why do you think Lucy would kill her mom?" I dropped my bag and they turned around. I walked backwards and ended up tripping and falling to the ground.

I looked at Natsu as if I was betrayed. Betrayed huh? Wasn't everything I thought about this whole time was that I shouldn't have friends because they would betray me. This is like some sick joke. That's when I ran.

Natsu's P.O.V.

Lisanna presented the most mortifying piece of information I had ever heard during the project. No, it wasn't information. Lisanna lied. I know she's annyoing but still she is good at heart, how could she even.. I mean I trust my friends but, but it's Luce.

Erza said that it would be best to avoid her and have me talk to Lisanna during lunch. After, she made sure to mention to me that this was partially for Lucy's sake because if we question her about this she'll be heart broken.

Erza was right, just tell lunch and everything will clear up. That's what I thought, that's what everyone thought. No one expected Lucy to come. Maybe it's my fault, this location is closer to the tree than I realized. God, I'm such an idiot!

Ready to run after Lucy, Lisanna grabbed my hand. I turned to her giving her the look as if she had only a millisecond to explain. "They found partial prints on the knife that stabbed her mom. There Lucy's."

"So? What about the other prints? What if Lucy was trying to save her mom, huh?"

Lisanna shook her head as if she was disappointed. "There the only prints."

"So why isn't she in jail then?" Natsu asked angrily. Lisanna bit her lip. There was a long pause but Lisanna couldn't help but tell the truth because of Natsu's harsh glare.

"T-the entry point of the wound doesn't make sense b-because she w-was small at the time. I-it was jabbed downwards into her s-showing how t-tall t-they should be. But her dad's also rich! She got this supper special lawye-"

Natsu pulled his hand away. "So you presented that information to class neglecting things like why Luce didn't do it?" Lissana looked down and nodded.

Natsu didn't know what was going on with her but what's important right now is Luce so he ran off. It was already past lunch and classes had resumed but he didn't care. He searched the school grounds over and over.

After awhile he started to worry, 'what if she's in the girls bathroom?' That would be hard. After pacing back and forth Natsu decided 'oh what the heck' and ran at the door heroically. That is until he heard something by the staircase.

Natsu decided to check the noise first... and if not then he'll do it. Gladly, there was Lucy who seemed to have fallen asleep. She also seemed to be sweating a bit, maybe a fever? He gently rested his hand on her forehead, definitely seemed hot, although he had nothing to compare it to sense his own head wouldn't work.

"Oi Luce?" Natsu whispered. She groggily responded "Nastwu..." Lucy seemed not only half asleep but also out of it, probably because of the fever. "Let me take you home Luce. Your sick. Where do you live?"

"Nwa... don wanna.." Lucy slurred. Natsu weirdly found it cute. He could turn her into the nurse but she didn't seem to want to go home and Natsu really had to talk to Lucy so he wanted to skip with her.
