MapleShades POV
I turned all the way around to see my smallest son, PatchKit. I saw PetalKit and LarchKit together. When I looked up, I saw AppleDusk, FreckleWish, and RavenWing. I glared at them.

"Mama, why are you in that Creepy forest?" PetalKit asked. "Because she did BAD things!" FreckleWish yelled. I growled at her. "Not in front of my kits, SnakeEye!" I snapped. It had been moons since I gave her that nickname. "Still giving me that name MapleShade..." FreckleWish murmured.

"Mama, I wanna be in their with you..." PatchKit said, his ears dropping. "But you can't." RavenWing growled. Now the snitch joined in. Wonderful. "I'm sorry my kits... But mama must stay where she is." I explained, my ears dropping, tears coming.

"Don't cry mama! We are still here for you." LarchKit said. I smiled at him. I tried to reach my paw out for my kits when AppleDusk decided to snatch them. "NOT a step closer MapleShade..." he growled. "Like they want to be with you." FreckleWish glared.

I turned around, silent. A tear had dropped from my face. "Mama wait!" PatchKit whined. I turn around to see him running towards me. PetalKit and LarchKit joined him as well. Tears ran down my face and a small smile came on my face. I knew they wanted to be with me. I crouched down and touched their noses with mine.

"Oh my sweet kits... I missed you so much!" I cried. "Are you kidding me?!" AppleDusk yelled. "Whats the matter?" I sarcastically asked. "We missed you too mama!" PetalKit said. It was so nice to feel their fur next to mine. "PetalKit, LarchKit, and PatchKit! Cone back here now!" RavenWing snapped. I just growled at him.

"Can we see Reedshine now mama?" PatchKit asked. I blushed at the thought of seeing Reedshine. Just seeing her beautiful deep blue eyes just makes me smile. "Not right now... we will soon." I said. "Reedshine doesn't want to see you MapleShade!" FreckleWish yelled. "And why's that, SnakeEye?" I asked.

FreckleWish just stayed silent. "Can we go please? I wanna see whats here!" LarchKit exclaimed. "Of course my sweet kits." I said. It was finally nice to see my kits again.
