Damn, the desert gets old pretty quickly. I'm tired of seeing cactus plants, vultures and tumbleweeds.

"Man, the desert has no color variations at all!" I sigh.

"How do you mean?" Optimus says through his radio.

"Oh yeah, I never told you this. I love colors, many colors. Seeing only one or two makes me crazy. Especially the grey colors, just so boring. I like the bright colors like red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo, and purple. My favorite colors are blue and red." I said. I wonder how long it will take for Optimus to notice that my favorite colors are the color of his paint job.

"Like my main colors?" He asks. Wow. That didn't take long.

"Yeah. I never really cared for the color green though. Unless it was neon green, or like Crosshairs' paint job." It's true. I like Crosshairs paint job, it worked for him.

"Well, I m glad you like my paint job." He says warmly.

"Ooooohh, she likes your paint job Prime!" Crosshairs voice came through the radio. Aw jeez.

"Crosshairs? Why are you eavesdropping?" I say annoyed. This is just an invasion of privacy!

"We all are." There's Hound. Oh God. Really? I feel myself start to heat up, I'm blushing with embarrassment.

"Sky? You're starting to heat up, you okay?" Optimus noticed me blushing.

"I'm fine, just a little embarrassed because I never knew they could do that..." I trail off. I hear the others going 'oooooh' over the radio.

"Knock it off! We're on a mission, remember?" I snap at the radio.

"She's right. Autobots, focus on our objective." Optimus commands. The others shut up, thank god.

"That was awkward." I say nervously.

"Yes it was," said Optimus. I lean back against the seat. I swear I hear my parents laughing. I forgot they were even watching me honestly. Meaning they saw me confess my feelings to Optimus. Aw man!

Time skip - Chicago

"Okay, we don't have any money so I'm gonna need you to steal the essentials." said Cade.  We had just found the abandoned church and settled in.

"Actually, you don't have to. Use this." I toss them the money I had in my backpack. Cade looks at the money.

"Where the hell did you get all this?" Cade asked.

"It's leftover from what Lockdown gave me to 'entertain' myself." I say with a smirk. He gives it to Tessa and Shane before they head out.

Actually, I'm starting to look really different. I grew about five inches, my eyes are even brighter blue, I'm much stronger than before, and I'm starting to see a little dark mark appearing on my forearm. It just looks like a bruise. My skin feels really itchy too, I've been scratching it but it won't go away.

I'm scratching so hard it actually hurts. Bumblebee watches me scratch myself like I have fleas, I hear him laugh. I shoot Bumblebee a death glare.

"What are you doing, Sky?" I hear Cade behind me.

"It...itches...so...bad!" I say while scratching my shoulders, where it itches most.

"Can someone help me out please?" I ask while gritting my teeth. Optimus kneels down at looks me in my eyes.

"Sky, somethings going on with the Energon in your bloodstream. I think it's causing these effects on you. Stop scratching." He says.

"But Optimus-" I stop. He knows more about Energon than I do. I stop scratching, even though it's so tempting to. It's like when I have my pollen allergies, I rub my eyes, then they just swell up. The itchy feeling starts going away. After a few more minutes, I feel fine.

I look down at my arms and my veins were glowing electric blue. I stare at my veins until the glowing stops.

"What...My veins were glowing!" I exclaim. I look back at my arms. The 'bruise' was becoming more visible, and it wasn't even a bruise.

It was an Autobot symbol. I'm becoming part Autobot, part Prime. What an honor. I wonder if this will make my parents proud, being a part of a team of heroes. I cover it up with my arm so no one can see it. I get my pen out of my bag, and I click it. I love how it just shifts into my sword. The blue and red swirled blade. They all stare at my sword, especially Optimus.

"That's your weapon of choice?" He asks. I nod.

"Yes, when I first saw it, I knew it was the perfect sword for me." I say. Optimus stares at the symbols,

"Can you read those symbols?" I nod again,

"Yeah, they say 'The power within yourself is greater than you will ever know'." Optimus' optics widen.

"How long were you able to read those symbols? After the Energon incident?" Optimus asked. I shake my head,

"No. I was able to read these symbols before that happened," I say, "Can you teach me some techniques?" Optimus hesitates. I wait patiently for his answer.

He nods as he turns into his shiny new truck form. His holoform appeared out of thin air.
He looked like he was in his twenties, had dark blue and red hair somewhat similar to mine, a red T-Shirt with jeans, and those bright blue eyes.

"Whoa..." I was speechless. He looked like Gale from the Hunger Games movies.

"Sky? You ready?" Optimus snapped me out of my trance.

"Huh? Oh yeah, ready!" I prepare myself with a fighting stance. I ready my sword, Optimus takes out his own. It's not the same one from Lockdowns ship, it's his glowing orange one. I LOVED those things.

"Okay Sky, follow my movements." He starts swinging his sword in a way I've already seen, but haven't tried. I start following his movements, imitating them in sync with him. Optimus looks at me, seeing me follow him in perfect alignment. He seemed impressed.

"Very good, let's try sparring. Just once." This surprised me.

"Sparring?" I never thought I would ever do this. He nods as he readies his orange sword, I ready my blue and red sword.

"Ready?" I nod,

"Ready!"

Optimus swings his sword towards me slowly, since I'm new to sword fighting. I bring it up to block it, then I swing mine at him, lightly. He blocks it of course. Then we quicken the pace. We start swinging faster, and harder. The bots are watching, so is Cade. I really wish Tessa and Shane were here right now.

Time skip - 20 minutes

Tessa and Shane finally got back with the stuff. Optimus were still sparring a little. We were fighting like professionals. But I was so tired that I had to give in. Optimus knew I had enough. I sat down on the couch and was breathing heavily. Damn, that guy can fight. There's a reason he's a Prime. I heard clapping, when I looked to my left, there were Tessa and Shane.

"Nice! Where did you learn to fight like that?" Tessa asks. I shrug my shoulders.

"It just came to me, with help from Optimus." I point to his holoform. They looked confused, then again, they've never seen a holoform before. Optimus' holoform disintegrates, and he transforms back into bot mode. He picks me up and puts me on his shoulder. I think Optimus likes it when I'm on his shoulder.

"Got any ideas on how we get into KSI?" I ask. Cade nods.

"Actually I do. I'm gonna use this mini drone to snap a picture of one of the ID cards, and Bee is gonna make a new one with my face on it." He said. I knew what was going to happen. I got to go with them, they'll need some backup. My sword is intimidating, maybe I'll interrogate Attinger with it.

"Hey Cade, make one for me too. I'm going with you." I state. Cade looks at me surprised.

"No, I'm not letting you. I'll do it myself, it's too dangerous." Said Cade.

"You won't make it far on your own, Cade. Plus, I know the layout of the building, which can give us the element of surprise." I said. I actually do know the layout of that building, well, half of it. Just the first few floors. Cade sighs,

"Fine, but you better be right about this."

Time skip - Next day

I'm sitting in Optimus with Cade. He's getting better at controlling that mini drone. I see the people swatting at it, how comedic. There was even a woman who looked just like me. The hair color matched and everything, but her eyes. Her eyes were green, mine are a wicked blue. But that shouldn't really matter.

"Did you get the pictures yet?" I ask. Cade nods.

"Yeah, I got them. But watch this!" He flies the drone into some more of the KSI workers. They all duck and fall on their butts. I want to laugh, but something is telling me not to. Like my inner me isn't listening.

"You got the picture of the woman who looks like me?" Cade nods.

"Yeah, let's get them back to Bee." He said. Optimus starts up. As we're pulling out, I stare back at the front doors. When the plan is in motion, I'll be getting a little information on how that stuff works.

Time skip - 2 hours

Bumblebee is almost finished with making our IDs now, it's really fascinating how he uses the lasers in his eyes with such precision. Mines done! I pick it up and look at my new name.

Lisa McCowell. What a name. It's really strange how her facial features look like mine. But hey, back home, I have a friend who looks a lot like me. All I need now are the clothes to match that places style.

"Hey, there will be no smooching in front of me." Cade says. Oh boy, let the argument begin.

"You're so square, who even says smooching?" Tessa's annoyed, clearly. I facepalm.

"Cade, Tessa, Shane. You guys need to stop arguing." I said. They look at me.

"Cade, Shane, we're going into KSI tomorrow, and we all need rest to be at full strength." I continue.

"Alright, fine." Cade grumbles as he walks out. So do Shane and Tessa. It's just me and the bots now.

"They need to settle their differences." I say.

"Yup."
"Indeed."
"Absolutely."
"Yeah."

Huh. All the bots said something. Everyone but Optimus. I look up to the big guy, he was staring at me. No, not just me. My arm, my Autobot symbol.

"When did that appear?" Optimus asks. I look down at my symbol and cover it up quickly.

"When did what appear?" I ask innocently. Optimus looks at me skeptically.

"Sky, I saw it. Let me see it." He says. The other bots look at me. I sigh and take my hand off, revealing the Autobot symbol. They all stare with wide optics.

"It appeared this morning. I don't know why." I say.

"Sky, this is remarkable. You don't even know what you're capable of now." Drift said. My eyes widen.

"What am I capable of now? I'm already stronger, taller, and my eyes are brighter." I said.

"You're now capable of transformation." Says Optimus. That was the last thing I heard before my consciousness faded away.
