Three Weeks Later

Once Dr. Tomi cleared me I was able to get my birth control implant. Then I was able to go back to work, things were going great. Pops was still here and tomorrow he was flying back to the U.S. with T'Challa and I for the opening of the embassy.

I was in my office charting my notes from my last patient when I heard my door close, I looked up to see T'Challa smirking at me

"Can I help you?' I asked rising an eyebrow

He didn't say anything, he just walked over and leaned down and kissed me, I closed my eyes as I felt his hands on my arms and he pulled me out of my chair. He wrapped his arms around my waist and back my into my desk and lifted me onto it. I pulled back

"We can't do this here." I said out of breath

"Everyone else is gone." He said kissing my neck until he got to my spot and I let out a moan, I can't lie I've missed this, I missed him. his hands moved to the zipper on my dress as I pushed off his jacket.

"Did you lock to door?" I asked him and he nodded with a smile then kissed me again

We laid on the couch in my office, trying to catch out breaths T'Challa pressed a kiss to my forehead

"Not that I didn't enjoy it but what brought this on?" I asked looking up at him

"Well I came to walk to you dinner then I saw you, you just looked so beautiful and I couldn't help myself/" He said then leaned down to kiss me as his kimoyo beads rang. He looked at them then laughed

"What?"

"It's Shuri, we were supposed to meet her in the lab after dinner."

"T'Challa!" I hit his arm and sat up as he answered the call Shuri's face appeared

"Where are you!?" She snapped I held back a laugh as he laughed

"I've been waiting on you for over an hour,"

"Sorry Shuri we got a little.... Distracted." He told her and I shook my head

"Doing what? Wait a minute where's your shirt? Oh Bast that's is nasty" She said once it clicked I finally let out the laugh I had been holding

"Don't come down until both of you have showered at least three times!" She said then hung up. We looked at each other and laughed

"You are bad." I said kissing him

"No you're just a bad influence." He teased and I pinched his arm, he wrapped his arms me

"I like it though." He said and I laid my head on his chest listening to his heartbeat

"We should get up." I said

"Yep." He said not moving,

We finally made to Shuri about an hour later with smiles on our faces

"It's about time!" She said

"Technically it wasn't my fault, I had no idea you were waiting." I said and she looked at T'Challa

"Don't act like you were busy." He told her

"I am very busy thank you very much. " She said crossing her arms

"Alright just show her Shuri.' T'Challa said putting his hand on my shoulders

"Show me what?"

"I told you I have a lot of surprises for you this week." T'Challa said in my ear, and I smiled

"Ok, ok give her room to breathe." Shuri said pushing him away and taking my hand

"Don't listen to him I made this just for you." She said

"It was my idea and I helped you." He said to her and she waved him off as we stopped in front of a pair of mannequins one had as sheet covering it and the other just necklace with the panther symbol on it.

"Is that your symbol?" I asked looking at T'Challa

"Hold all questions please." She said and I looked at T'Challa who shook his head

"Ok presenting exhibit A." She said then pulled the sheet off and my suit was on the mannequin

"My suit."

"Is outdated." She said and I looked at her

"Excuse me? this was my grandmothers and I think I've up dated it pretty well over the years

"Yes, yes but maybe it's time for something new." She said then walked over to the necklace and tapped it. It flashed a purple light and new suit come over the figure it was all black with a gold trim.

"Wow." Shuri took my hand and smiled at me

"I followed most of my blueprint of T'Challa's. the suit is in the necklace, it's made from vibranium, so it can handle the heat from your electricity, it's bulletproof, and can reabsorb kinetic energy."

"Shuri you've out done yourself." I said hugging her, then I looked at my old one

"What about this one? It was my grandmothers."

"We're going to put it on display in the hall of panthers, right next to T'Challa's old one especially since he's-" She was cut off by glass breaking. We looked to see T'Challa looking down

"Sorry." He said but he wasn't , I looked at Shuri who looked nervous all of sudden.

I looked between them again they were up to something I could tell, because any other time if he broke something her in lab she was have a fit. Also he was never one to be clumsy, you with quick reflexes and all.

"What is going on?" I asked them

"Nothing." They said at the same time and I rolled my eyes

"Ok now I know you two are up to something." I said looking at Shuri because that girl couldn't hold water especially when she's excited about it

"Shuri?" I asked

"My love are you hungry? You know we missed dinner." T'Challa said wrapping his arm around my waist leading me out of the lab

"Not really." I said looking back at Shuri

"Well we still need to pack for our trip." He said and I pulled away

"Wait my necklace." I turned to go get it but he grabbed my hand

"I'll come back and get it for you." He said leading me out of the lab, I don't know what they were up to but I was going to find out.
