I looked at him and he looked upset

"I will give you two a moment to talk." Pop's said and left the room

"Hey what are you doing here?" I asked him he looked me up and down then his eyes landed on my stomach

"T'Challa?"

"When were you going to tell me, your pregnant?" He asked with a frown my jaw dropped as I processed what he just asked me

"What?"

"When were you going to tell me?" He asked again

"Who told you?"

"Does that matter? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was going to, I wanted to tell you face to face when I came back to Wakanda."

"You're coming back with me now."

"No I'm not."

"You're carrying my child, you're coming back with me now."

"It's my child too, in my body, and I'm not leaving not now at least. Look I'm sorry I didn't tell but my therapy is going good I need to be here right now."

"We can find you someone in Wakanda, I don't like you being so far away from me."

"You were fine with it before, why is now any different?"

"I didn't want you to leave before, but I knew there was nothing I could say to stop you."

"You can't stop me now! Look I have every intention on coming back to Wakanda, I want us to be a family. This time I'm taking we need it,"

"I didn't mean what I said."

"You did and you were right, I have taken for granted all of the people who have been there for me and that love me. I've only had two sessions so far but I really think this doctor can help me." I said and he walked over and took my hand

"Have you been to the doctor?" He asked and I nodded and went in my purse and pulled out the sonogram and handed it to him

"I'm six along, I go back tomorrow for a physical and to hear the heartbeat."

"What time?"

"11:30."

"I'll be here at 10 we can go to breakfast and talk."

"Why don't you just stay here? Pops won't mind."

"are you sure?" He asked and I laughed a little

"I don't want us to all the way back to square one, I mean we're having a baby but I've missed you." I said wrapping my arms around him he pulled me close

"I've missed you too, I haven't slept much without you by myside." He said cupping my face

"I haven't slept much either." I said and he wrapped his arms around me and laid my head on his chest listening to his heartbeat loving being in his arms.

I was woken up by my kimoyo beads ringing, I looked over at T'Challa who was still sleeping, I pressed on my beads

"Why are you still in bed?" Shuri asked as her face appeared

"because it's only 9 am." I said looking at the time

"Why are you up so late?" I asked her

"I wanted to check on you and my little niece or nephew." She said with a smile

"Shuri I told you to wait until I called you." T'Challa said as he rolled over to face Shuri

"You took too long and I'm excited. When are you coming back?" She asked looking at me

"In a few weeks don't worry."

"A few weeks! Why so long?" She said and I laughed

"I have some stuff finish up here then I'll be back."

"Good this is where you belong." She said and I smiled

"I have a doctors appointment today so I'll call you back when it over."

"One of you better or I'm coming to America." She said then hung up

'Thump, Thump, Thump.

T'Challa smiled at the screen as he held my hand as the doctor did the ultrasound. I looked at the screen and I couldn't believe there was really a baby inside of me. I wiped eyes

"Are you crying?" T'Challa asked as he leaned down and kissed my forehead

"I've been really emotional lately, don't laugh." I said with a smile

"That's to be expected, I wish I could say it would get better." Dr. Asher said

"The baby is healthy right?" I asked and she nodded

"Healthy 8 week old baby." She said and I looked at T'Challa who was beaming

We got into the car I couldn't stop looking at the ultrasound and I touched my belly, I felt so overwhelmed but happy

"Thank you for being here," I said taking his hand

"The best thing a father can do for his unborn child is take care of his mother."

"I have a therapy appointment tomorrow, and then after I think I'm ready to come home."

"Are you sure?" He asked trying not to smile

"I can always talk to her over the phone, or have video calls I can make it work."

"I don't want to rush you, and I don't want you to spread yourself to thin."

"You know me I can handle anything."

"But it's not just you anymore." He said then pecked my lips and started the car and I thought about what he said I was going to have to change a lot at least for the next few months.
