Three months later

I groaned as I felt another kick to my back, these kids were kicking my ass. Today was my baby shower and all I wanted to do was lay in bed and cuddle with T'Challa's pillow. It stilled smelled like him and it brought me comfort and warmth when I missed him most.

"Ayesha are you ready?" Ramonda asked me and I frowned

"Do we have to do this?" I asked again she shook her head

"Yes, your guests are waiting, where are your shoes?"

"I don't know I can't even see my feet, the only reason I know that they're there is because they hurt so bad."

"Can you please pretend to be happy for a few hours?" She asked and I forced a smile

"That's better." She said grabbing the shoe box I sat down and she helped me put on my sandals. Honestly I wouldn't have made through this pregnancy this far without her. She's been by my side for every appointment, she helped me get the nursery together, she took care of me the nights I was sick, she rubbed my back when I was in pain. So the least I could do was be happy for this baby shower she put together.

The shower wasn't anything big just family, I was nervous about the fact I allowed Pops to bring my mother and brother. My father, sister and her 'man' were snapped, so since then they have been staying with Pops and they wanted to see me. So, after some convincing I gave in and said yes. I never met my brother and they last time I saw my mother was almost three years ago when we had that blow up a Pop's house.

"How are you feeling?" Ramonda asked as she helped me stand up

"Truth?" I asked and she laughed

"I expect nothing less."

"Well baby one thinks my kidneys are soccer balls, and baby two is jumping on my bladder like it's a trampoline." I told her and she laughed and rubbed my belly.

"Good thing I picked the ballroom with the bathroom attached." She told me and I laughed

We walked into the ballroom and it was the cutest thing I ever seen, it had a whole rainforest theme

"The panthers represent T'Challa, and the forest and weather represents you." She said and I hugged her

"Thank you so much for everything." I said blinking away my tears

"You are so welcome." She hugged me just as tight, that's when I realized these babies helped her as much as me. she lost her children leaving just me and her to hold everything together.

I walked through the room greeting my guests

"Please tell me there is a little Natasha in there." Nat said placing her hands on my bump

"It is. A boy and a girl."

"So you're name her Natasha right?" She asked and I laughed

"Um we'll see." I said as she helped me sit in a chair

"How are you feeling baby girl?" Uncle James asked me after he kissed my cheek

"Pregnant." I said running my bump

"That's to be expected do you want me to get something."

"Water please." I said and he nodded as Malika gave me a hug then M'Baku. He has been a big help in running things since I've been told to slow down. They went to sit down as my Pops walked over I tried to get up, I heard Nat laugh then she helped me up.

"Hi Pops." I said hugging him

"Oh look at you!" He said with a smile, this was our first time seeing each other since I started showing.

"They're excited to hear their Pops." I said taking his hand and placing it on the side where there it felt like they were boxing,

"They're strong."

"Tell me about it, hopefully they let me sleep tonight." I told him, I felt a tug on my dress and I looked down to see a pretty little girl she looked around 4

"HI. "I said softly as I sat back down to I could get closer to her height

"My name is Ashley are you really a princess?" She asked and I smiled

"No Ashley she's a queen." My mother said as she came over and put a hand on her shoulder, then it clicked this was my niece I guess. I looked back down at Ashley

"You can call me Ayesha."

"Is this your party?"

"It is."

"Can I have some cake" She asked with wide eyes making me laugh

"You have to eat dinner first." The guy standing next to my mother said

"Ayesha this your brother Derek." Pops said and I shook his hand

"Welcome to Wakanda."

"Thank you it's nice to finally meet you. congratulations." He said and I nodded

"Thank you, why don't you guys sit here with me?"

"Are you sure?" Pops asked and I nodded

I wasn't that interested in my mother but I wanted a chance to know my brother and niece.

I sat there getting to know my brother and he was nothing like I thought he would be. As our father's junior I expected him to be just like him but he wasn't. he was very down to earth

"Ew you went to Georgetown?" I said with a frown

"Don't disrespect the blue and grey."

"Please HU all day, undergrad and med."

"Oh you're an HBCU big head." He said and I laughed

"And proud of it."

"You know you are not at all like I imagined." He said and I nodded

"I could say the same for you."

"I mean Kim, painted you out to be some sort of monster, and mom and dad never talked about you at all."

"I'm glad we've got a chance to know each other, before today I never even knew your name." I said then I glanced at my mother who was sitting off to the side

"She's always been easier to talk to when he's not around." He told me before I could respond Ramonda walked over

"Time for presents." She told me then she helped me out of the chair
