Third Person's POV

Jungkook ruffles the older's hair, finally Jimin lifted his gaze and their gazes met. Jimin keeps on saying that he doesn't need a friend that he's better without anyone although it's the truth for some reason he found himself loving Jungkook's company, he likes the feeling of being with the latter.

Jimin is happy whenever Jungkook waits for him or every time he asked Jimin if he's okay, he likes it when Jungkook smiles at him but accepting his offer means he should keep on pretending right? Because it was the reason behind this kindness he was receiving from Jungkook.

Jungkook smiled causing Jimin's thought to completely vanish and making Jimin's stomach flip.

"I assumed you change your mind." Jungkook told him and Jimin's eyes sadden, still feeling guilty of how he treats Jungkook yesterday. Jungkook drop his hand from ruffling Jimin's hair and pinch his left cheek instead.

"I was really sad yesterday." Jungkook said and he sounded like a child talking in upset tone, "Since you made me sad, I demand you to smile." He requested and Jimin crack a smile, not because of Jungkook's request but Jimin found Jungkook funny as of the moment.

Jimin's expression fell when he notices, Jungkook is looking at him in awe, he shyly turns away.

"You should smile more, it suits you most." Jimin's cheeks become crimson red and lowered his head.

"Ah, you're so cute." Jungkook tease him tone amused, Jimin gave him a look.

"And that's the way you're showing your angry face huh? It only makes you cuter, Hyung." Jungkook says casually as if they know each other for so long, making Jimin's heart warms.

"Have you eaten lunch?" Jimin nodded his head but his stomach suddenly grumbles and he curses internally, it was indeed embarrassing.

"I see you lied." Jungkook says giving Jimin a pointed look, Jimin didn't spare him a glance out of embarrassment.

Jungkook stood up, "Jimin-hyung," He called out and Jimin automatically tilt his head up. Jungkook was reaching his hand for him, Jimin smiled and accepts it, Jungkook pulled him up.

"Let's go and eat." Jungkook says before turning his back on Jimin.

Jimin stayed rooted in his place, wasn't his first class about to start? Jimin walked past him and blocked Jungkook's way both arms extended. Jungkook quickly stops and look at Jimin confused, Jimin pointed Jungkook's classroom thinking Jungkook may have forgotten about it. Jungkook follows Jimin's gesture before returning his gaze towards the older male, smiling widely.

"It's okay," Jungkook assured the smaller, "I'm okay." Jimin mouthed, Jungkook sigh defeated.

Jimin thought Jungkook was going to attend his class but he launched forward grabbing Jimin's wrist, grabbing him. Jimin looked down at Jungkook's hand, he is holding him securely but not too tight, Jimin smiled before looking up at him.

As soon as they stepped in, Jimin's eyes spotted Taehyung, sitting alone and eating. Jimin glances at the latter and shook his head.

"What's wrong?" Jimin shifted his gaze to Taehyung and the latter followed his gaze before looking back at the taller.

"Ah," Jungkook blurts out as he became aware.

"Don't be scared. He's annoying but he's a good boy." Jungkook tries to assure him but it didn't help.

That was not the issue here, Jimin thought. Jimin hold grudges and till now he hasn't forgotten what Taehyung did to him and did Jungkook mentioned good boy? Well sorry for breaking that to him, Taehyung was far from that.

Jungkook grin fully aware, Jimin yelp when Jungkook yank him and pushed him towards Taehyung. Jungkook made the smaller sit down beside Taehyung intentionally and Jimin was in complete daze.

Taehyung notices, he glanced up at Jungkook and Jungkook only wink at him, Taehyung furrowed his brows before looking at the older beside him, Taehyung's expression changes real quick, he was surprise mouth hanging open before gazing up at Jungkook again.

"I'll get you food," Jungkook said from behind and Jungkook wanted to laugh at the smaller's reaction, he had his head hanging low probably embarrass of the situation he was in with Taehyung, "And you!" Jungkook says pointing his index finger to his friend, "Behave." He continued before he steps away, chuckling.

Jimin noticed Taehyung was still staring at him hence he glared at him, Taehyung was taken aback and stared at him in disbelief.

"I am not even doing anything yet you're about to throw hands!" Taehyung complains, Jimin glance away.

Jungkook came back, put the tray of food in the table and sat across from Jimin, Jungkook smiled and motioned the smaller to eat.

"Gguk," Jungkook perks up as Taehyung whispered audibly, "He's the one I'm talking about." He added.

"I know." Jungkook simply replied and glances over Jimin as the smaller grabs his chopstick, pretending he can't hear them.

"Dumbass, you know? You didn't even say anything? How dare you!"

"You didn't mention his name last time how would I know?" Jungkook answered him while his eyes glued on the smaller, Jimin pauses and Jungkook notices how Jimin turned anxious after learning both of them had talked about him.

Jungkook smirked when he noticed how Jimin pulled into act pretending it didn't bother him.

After having lunch, they step out the cafeteria, tailing Jimin from behind. Taehyung nudges Jungkook and the latter tore his gaze away from Jimin.

"Jungkook, how? I mean how come you got to know him? How the two of you became close? He has an attitude!" Jungkook chuckled.

"I'm not the one who did the unpleasant thing, Tae." Jungkook answered back stretching the last part.

"Are you mocking me?"

"No, just reminding there's a reason why he's like that to you."

"Fuck, so unfair."

"You brought that to yourself." Jungkook retorts back, smirking and Taehyung suddenly stop in his track causing Jungkook to stop as well.

"Jungkook-ah since you two are close why don't you hang out with us? I'm sure they won't mind." Jungkook is not stupid for him to not realize what Taehyung's reason is.

"But he would mind."

Jungkook suddenly catch the sight of Jimin fastening his pace leaving them behind, Jungkook immediately excuses himself and ran after the smaller.

Jungkook stops in the middle of the hallway when Namjoon ran after the smaller male.

"Slow down!"

Jimin stopped immediately, Jungkook pulled his brows together and tried to understand what was happening. He then noticed the caution sign so close to where Jimin was standing, it looks like the floor was still wet, it was slippery.

Jimin faces Namjoon with wide eyes, "Didn't you see the sign?!" Namjoon asked him angrily and Jungkook winces at the sound. Namjoon sound really pissed, but why? Jimin had his brows knitted together while staring at him.

"Are you mocking me? Why don't you answer?!"

Jimin only stared at Namjoon and Jungkook starting to get worry, itching to step in between them.

"God, you're testing me really." Namjoon moved towards Jimin, closely and Jungkook decided to step forward.

"Namjoon-hyung!"

Namjoon pauses stopping in front of Jimin, leaving small distance between them before he faces his cousin, eyes following Jungkook as he head over Jimin.

"What's the matter? Everyone could hear you shouting across the hallway." Jungkook told him now beside Jimin, he stood beside the smaller and places his arm around the older shoulder protectively.

Jungkook notices how his cousin was practically glaring at his arm that was wrapped around Jimin so does Jimin, Namjoon clenches his jaw and straight up look at Jungkook.

"Do you know him?" Namjoon snaps.

"Yeah."

"Tell him to answer when someone's asking." Namjoon says through gritted teeth irritated and spare Jimin a glare.

"Hyung," Jungkook calls out and Namjoon shifted his gaze back to cousin, "Let's just talk later." He muttered.

Jungkook worriedly glance over the smaller, "Class" Jimin mouthed and Jungkook took the hint immediately and nods his head.

"I'll walk him to his class first," Jungkook told him before gazing back the smaller male, they smiled at each other before heading back.

Without realizing there's a pair of eyes watching them intently.

Jimin stopped upon seeing them in front of the exit. Jimin tightened his hold on his sling bag, Jungkook had his back turn on him while facing the three. Did they all wait for him? Jimin took a step back but Yoongi notices and called out the others attention before they all stared at him.

Jungkook waves and smiled and a sigh finds it way past Jimin's lips, defeated. Jimin walked over them while looking down at his shoes, he was taken aback when he saw how he didn't tied his shoelace properly, Jimin stops in the middle and tied it.

"Ah, look at him, tying his shoes cutely." Taehyung teases and Jungkook shoot him a look, as if telling him to quit it but there's no hint of annoyance in his face.

Jimin straightened himself and then walked over them, Jungkook had his eyes on the latter's shoes and chuckles. Does the older really know how to tie his shoelace properly? Because by the look of it, he needs to tie it again.

"You tied your shoelace loosely." He pointed out and proceed to squat down, earning a look from the rest as he tied Jimin's shoes correctly, a blush form in the smaller's face. Jimin look up and notices them staring, smiling fondly except for Namjoon.

"Let's go." Yoongi breaks in.

Jungkook stood up and looked at Jimin, "Namjoon invited us to eat, his treat, he wants you to join because he felt bad for shouting at you." Jungkook explained to the older and Jungkook senses that Jimin doesn't like the idea.

Jungkook took Jimin's hand in his and for a moment he appreciated how soft Jimin's hand was.

"Why do you look so worried? You're with me, you're fine." Jimin only stared at the latter, Jungkook tap Jimin's chin using his fingertip and the latter broke into a smile. Jungkook pulled the older in his sides and places his arm around Jimin's shoulder.

They step inside the car, Jimin is between Tae and Jungkook. The younger suddenly receives a text and smiled before he starts typing.

Taehyung showed his phone and Jimin read what he wrote, "Hi." Jimin furrowed his brows. Taehyung typed again, "I'm sorry." Jimin unconsciously smiled. Gladly Taehyung haven't notice, Taehyung didn't try to bother him again. Jimin secretly glanced at Jungkook, the latter looks quite busy, Jimin rested his back comfortably and closed his eyes.

"Jimin!"

Jimin snapped his eyes open when he heard Taehyung's screamed. Jimin has not realized that he fell asleep along the way. Jimin turned to look at his side, eyes widening in shock when he did not see Jungkook.

"Jungkook is outside, phone calling someone. He advices me to not leave you so I wake you up." Taehyung explained and Jimin relaxes.

"Are you okay? Let's get going, they are waiting inside."

Jungkook drop his phone call, annoyed, he was standing at the back of the car. Jungkook furrowed when small drops of rain hit his skin, he quickly turned on his heels going back to Jimin that was inside the car but he was met with the smaller stepping outside.

Jimin pauses lift his palm, testing if it was really raining before looking up innocently. There was a change in Jungkook's expression, frustration suddenly disappeared. Jimin's eyes widened as the rain came pouring down heavily, Jungkook quickly launched forward, placed his arm around Jimin and placed his other hand above the older's head.

Jimin was impressed, felt everything around him stops as he watched Jungkook who has his eyes set on him, looking at him with worried look.

"Let's get inside." Jungkook told him and they ran inside.

Jungkook steps inside the restaurant with Jimin behind him, smiling. Jungkook stops when he senses Jimin stopped in his track and turned to look at him.

Taehyung is holding the smaller in a friendly way, "You okay?" Taehyung asked him, Jimin softens nodding his head and Jungkook smiled, the smaller probably lost in Taehyung's stares and forgot to act annoyed around him to cover up his feelings for him.

Jungkook pulled a chair for Jimin and walk around to sit across the smaller, sitting beside his cousin.

"I missed Hobi-hyung." Taehyung mumbled that gets Jungkook's attention and smirked, he was about to look away when he found Jimin staring at Namjoon, judging him hard.

Oh, right Jimin knew about what happen between the two right? Looking at him now he must be on Hoseok's side it cracks Jungkook, Jimin suddenly heard the sound coming from Jungkook and he catches him staring.

"What's funny?" Yoongi asked with brow raised, Jungkook stared at Yoongi and shook his head.

"Just order." Namjoon cuts in.

Jungkook took the menu but checked Jimin first if he's comfortable and it appears he is because of how relax he look while Yoongi sharing the menu with him.

"Just point what you want." Yoongi said, Jimin's eyes lit up and wet his lips while looking at the menu, mesmerized.

"Pfft." Jimin furrowed his brows, "Ah cute." Jungkook complimented which ignored by his friends.

Jungkook bit his lower lip before shifting his gaze back to the menu, Jungkook purposely said that loud and knew Jimin heard him because of the way he blushed. If his compliment has effect on the smaller, Jimin might end up liking him instead— Jungkook silently thought, smirking.

"Kimchi jjigae?" Yoongi asked.

"I want this one, Nakji bokkeum." Yoongi responded, "Do you drink?" Jungkook suddenly look back at Jimin and finds the smaller nodding at Yoongi's question. Yoongi was about to flip the page when Jimin stopped him, pointing something on the menu with pleading eyes.

"Ah, so you change your mind and want to order the same dish as mine?" Jimin's expression was not pleased.

"You can order both." Namjoon cuts in, Jimin stared at the menu, very pleased and Namjoon smiled in return.

"Look at him getting excited." Taehyung teases earning a smile from Jungkook as well, Jimin turned red upon realizing they have their eyes sets on him.

Taehyung motioned the old lady and the lady collect their orders afterwards.

They ate and drink till they all realized, Jimin is already drunk. Jimin unconsciously rested his head on Yoongi's shoulder and Jungkook spoke.

"Is he drunk?" Jimin opened his eyes, staring at Jungkook half-lidded and the smaller noticed Jungkook is worrying over him.

"Are you sure he drink? If not then we're dead when his brother finds out." Yoongi said.

"I told him Jimin is with us but I feel like he's mad, he didn't reply." Taehyung says voice concern.

"You're overthinking, I'm sure it's fine and Jimin's brother seemed kind." Jungkook argued.

"What do you mean? Did you meet him?" Taehyung asked Jungkook hysterical.

"Yeah, when I walked Jimin home." Namjoon scoffs and Jungkook stared at his cousin, wondering.

"What the fuck and you didn't bother telling me?" Jungkook's attention's diverts back toTaehyung.

"I don't have any idea that he was the one you're talking about, possessive much? As if I'll take him from you."

"He's mine, no one dare to like him!"

"He's talking nonsense now." Yoongi points out.

"No, you don't understand. Seokjin is mine, I'm flirting with him. " Jungkook seek for Jimin's reaction because hearing someone you like talks about someone else must really hurt.

"No one's stealing him from you, stop it, you're drunk." Yoongi spat annoyed at Taehyung.

Jimin closed his eyes and Jungkook suddenly feels sorry for him, a moment later Jungkook tore his gaze stared back at Taehyung.

"But I'm curious, why Seokjin and not his younger brother?" Jungkook asked.

"Oh, suddenly?" Taehyung blurts out, shock.

Why does it, they always manage to insert my name in the middle of their conversation? Jimin asked himself silently.

"Well," Taehyung starts, "Truthfully I was about to get Jimin's number that's why I scrolled through his contacts but then I saw Seokjin's." He chuckles.

"Both are gorgeous by the way but I am more into a person with bright personality and Seokjin radiates that energy just by looking at his picture."

"But if you didn't found Seokjin's, you will get Jimin's?"

"Absolutely."

"So close." Jungkook mumbled.

"What?" Taehyung asked but Jungkook only shake his head.

"Aren't you thinking high of yourself? As if he'll like you." Namjoon butts in.

"You mean Seokjin?"

"No, Jimin." Suddenly silence fell, Jungkook turned to look at Namjoon with surprise look.

Was butting in like that necessary? Why does it appears, Namjoon is affected? Jungkook is wondering if Namjoon knew about Jimin all along, not just that, the way he acted around Jimin was suspicious too.

"Shall we drive this kid home?" Yoongi cuts in the middle of their conversation.

Yoongi and Jungkook had help Jimin stand on his feet, brought Jimin to the car and drive him home.

The last thing Jimin remember was being carried by his Seokjin-hyung towards his room.
