SORRY THEN I'LL BE IN ENGLAND!! I will write though, and if my wifi is good enough, I can update, but not if it isn't good enough! 0-0
Now, let's read it!! :D hahah XD
--------------------------------
Part from last chapter:
I couldn't sleep that night. All I thought about was if this was a dream, or the reality. But now it all seemed more like reality to me. I just had to believe it. I didn't want to forget Legolas, or this wonderful world. Middle Earth. It is my home now, even though it can also all fall apart, I just have to believe in something... And I want to believe it! And after these thoughts I fell into sleep, but as a whole different person. I fell asleep as Tauriel, the friend of Legolas, and not Wendy the desperate fangirl. This was all I've dreamt of, and it was even better. Now it had become my reality.....
---------------------------------
I stood still for a while, catching my breath. 'C'mon Tauriel, keep it up!' I sighed and Legolas walked towards me. 'Hey, I know you lost your memory and everything is very strange and different to you know, but c'mon', he lay his hand on my shoulder, and pointed at the place where my heart is,'I know that your fighting skills are still deep inside there!' He let go of my shoulder, and walked further, and I followed him. 'Believe me, once you've seen an orc or a filthy spider, you remember how to kill!' I catched up on him, and he grinned as he saw me tightning my grip on my bow. 'Ready?' 'Uhu...' I grinned and focussed my eyes on the horizon. I still had to get used to the sight of the beautiful trees, and its leafs being the rooftop of the forest, with some rays of sunshine getting through, shining their light on the ground. I still had to gasp every time I looked at the gate of Mirkwood, and seeing the mighty river flow through the forest that seems to live for day and night. But Legolas already warned me that this peacefull appearing was only for a few seconds, hours and maybe days. He had told me about the horrible creatures crawling in the shadows, and about small rivers filled with black water, as black as the blood from orcs. I shivered at the thought and tried to shake it off.
We followed a path for quite a while, as Legolas insisted I drank a special potion, and he explained me that it was against the socering powers of the forest, making the ones that travel through sick and confused, leading them into a trap, where they'll be eaten or just die. I watched the potion. It was purple, with small leafs in it, I shook it, and all the leafs whirled around, I laughed, but Legolas shook his head. 'Just drink it Tauriel!' I nodded, and drank it. It tasted like rotten leafs mixed with bearfur and a little bit of darkness... Or whatever. He narrated rumors about people that have never returned after fighting in the Great Battle against Sauron from decades ago.
I didn't really listen, I just thought about everything that had happened the last few hours, Thranduil explaining everything, Legolas and me in my room that night, and how I felt when I woke up this morning, I really felt... different. Changed. New. Alive. But mostly.... at home. I had dressed myself in a compfy hunting outfit, and Legolas had grinned when he saw me at the front gate a few minutes later. In my hand I had two apples, and I offered Legolas one, but he shook his head. So I threw one of the apples at his head, and he quickly catched it. 'You better get used to that!' I said with a grin, and he laughed. 'How do you feel on this beautiful morning?' 'Very good, let's go!'
Now we had run for hours, I was exhausted, but I didn't want to give up, not in front of Legolas! I blushed at the thought, and Legolas saw I did, so he stopped for a second. 'Were you even listening?' 'Err...' 'No, you didn't! You missed the best part of the whole story! I was just telling about the orcs ripping the dwarf's arms off!' 'And that is... good? Fun? Well it isn't funny to me!' He looked at me, and his smile was gone. 'Yes, that is funny. I told it before when you still had all your memories, and you laughed so hard, you almost fell out of the tree we were sitting in to ambush some orcs!' I groaned, walked further in silence and he just.... stood there. He sighed. 'Tauriel...' 'NO! You want me to be like that again huh?' I ran, I ran and I ran, my bow was stripped to my back, and started to annoy me, so I took it in my hand, even though it wasn't much better like that. I ran through some bushes, over big rocks, and towards the biggest tree I've ever seen. 'Tauriel!' 'SHUT UP AND LEARN!' I said as I threw my bow and quiver on the ground. I climbed into the tree, and surprisingly it was easy.
I sat on a branch and watched him with a grin. 'TAURIEL!? GET DOWN!' I shook my head. 'No. You want me to change, you want me to be just like then, come here and tell me a funny joke, and I'll fall out of the tree!' 'This doesn't make any sense, get out of that tree!' 'No Legolas, I am actually fine here!' 'You're overreacting! I didn't mean it like that, just... please come down!' I shook my head again, and started to climb higher.
'Listen, Tauriel, I'm not going to leave you here all by yourself, just come down, and we'll go back!' 'No!' He sighed. 'Okay, you want to play? Let's play.' He placed his hands on the tree, and climbed higher and higher until he reached me. 'Was it that hard?' I smiled, but he didn't respond it.
He pulled me closer to him, and I tried to climb away, but he took my wrists in one hand, and my waist in the other, and he jumped down. 'ARE YOU CRAZY?' I yelled and screamed. We hit the ground, but fortunately he landed on his feet, as he was still holding me in his arms.
I pushed him away as I whispered:'Thank you...' 'You're welcome, now follow me, we're going to hunt some orcs, because we need to.... see straight again...' I nodded and followed him.
We ran for a while and we spotted some tracks on the ground, well, he did, I couldn't see them at first, because a bird was annoying me. Very unelvish? Yes. Legolas giggled at me because of that and I simply sighed. He observed the tracks, and figured out that they were close, so he started running and I followed him. We ran and Legolas kept finding tracks. 'Wow those orcs are so good at secretly sneaking into an elven kingdom filled with elven guards with very good elven sight.....' I said as I started clapping like I was really impressed, and Legolas chuckled. 'Hush Tauriel, we're already close to them!' 'Wow it'll be such a surprise when we appear in front of their ugly faces, and they won't know what to do, and we just kill them all... right fun!' I said with mixed emotions. 'What do you mean by that?' I waved with my hand and muttered 'I donno... forget about it okay!?'
Legolas nodded and we walked further, as I kept making sarcastic comments about the stupidness of orcs, and continuing about goblins and ending with trolls. 'Hush', Legolas whispered, as he quickly placed his hand on top of my mouth, and held his other hand on my back. Well, right above my bottom actually. His eyes shot up, and to the left and the right, and I could hear low voices rumble from a small distance. Legolas stared into my eyes, like he was giving me a message, and I understood him, and slowly nodded, as I lay my hand on my bow already. Legolas let go of me and I immediatly missed his warmth, but I had more important things to handle with now.
I held my bow fiercly and took an arrow, as I saw the foul creatures coming closer. Legolas pushed me against a tree, and protectively stood with his back to me, and I waited for the sign to attack. Legolas took an arrow, and placed it on the right spot, and we waited in the shadows. Legolas scared the crap out of the first orc that came close enough, and one other screeched as he ran towards Legolas, who took his knifes and slaughtered the beast- in style, with his hair waving fabulously in the wind! I grinned at my thought, and pushed Legolas away as I pierced an arrow through one of the orc's heart. I laughed at Legolas' reaction: he grinned and clapped, as an orc sneaked up on him, but he just smashed his knife inbetween its eyes, and continued clapping.
I smirked and pulled the knife out of the orc's head and handed it to Legolas. 'So, that was quite a party...' 'Only three orcs? Nah not really, but I really thought there were four wandering around in these woods.' My smile faded away within a second. 'It means it got away.' 'Yeah... Maybe we should kill it too, or send a message to his little friends!' 'I hope you did realize he could be standing behind a tree right now!?' I nodded and agreed with him, and Legolas walked around and searched for tracks from the fourth orc, but he couldn't find any. 'Well I hope he got our message, and I hope he's on his way telling all of his sneaky orc friends that we're dangerous.' I laughed maliciously and Legolas smirked. 'Yes, let's just go home now!' I nodded and we went back to the gates.
Right before the guards saw us, Legolas pulled me behind a tree. 'Hey I wanted to say something before we're back in, Tauriel.' 'Okay, bring it on!' 'I'm sorry. Of course you're not the same as you once were. And even when you get-' 'IF I get back my memories.' 'Yes, then you won't be the same. You need to know I accept that okay!?' I nodded. 'It's alright Leggie!' I smiled and hugged him tight, ahhhh the warm hug of an fabulous elvish prince. I silently sighed and pulled back again. 'So, what's for dinner?' Legolas laughed, and we walked back in.
Legolas went to his room and I went to mine, and I washed myself, and got ready for dinner. I ran towards the huge diningroom, and I saw him and Thranduil. But I also saw some other important persons, like Elora, the head of the archers, yes a woman! , and Halondir, the head of strategics and protection of the kingdom. They were also Thranduil's friends since childhood, and their parents have also been friends and all the other generations, that's the way this kingdom was ruled. By the king, and his powerfull friends, that were meant to be friends, and sometimes even got married. Example: Thranduil's grand-grandfather married Elora's grand-grandmother. It's a complicated triangle, intertwined by friendship and marrige, Legolas has told me a lot about it when we were young. Wait what? I dropped my fork, and stared at Legolas, with my mouth wide open, but I hadn't eat anything, that would have been awkward! Some obers came with food in, and Legolas looked at me with worried eyes. I started to shake my head, and lay my hands on my ears, as I started to mumble: 'No, no ,no... how can it be?' A pain shot through my head, and I squeaked, and Legolas jumped up and walked over the table to me, jumped on the ground, and crouched next to me. He cupped my head in his hands and looked directly in my eyes.
'Tauriel, listen to me, what is wrong?' 'I- I.... I know who they are.... I rember you telling me when we were younger, and you... we were sitting next to a huge, old tree outside. Then orcs came and-' I stopped. 'Halondir saved us.' Legolas nodded with a huge smile on his face. 'It's all true, but how?' Another pain shot through my head and I screamed. Thranduil got up, and he ran to us, pushed his son asside and lay his hand on my head, and chanted a few elvish words. 'Listen to me, Tauriel, you need to relax, I am affraid this is going to happen more often in the future. The next time this happens, you need to lay down, close your eyes and let the memories overwhelm you.' 'What? Father, you see the pain she's in!' 'SON! Keep out of this! The memories are living on their own, trying to get her attention. If she gives in to them, they will enter her head calmly. But now she's fighting it, they're hurting her!'
I nodded and the pain was gone, but I didn't get more memories now. I sighed, and opened my eyes to see Legolas with mixed emotions.
'Are you okay Tauriel?' 'Yes, yes, the headache is gone...' 'How much do you remember?' 'The orc attack, er... they burned the tree down, but Halondir saved us, we mourned about the tree, and planted a new one, together.' Legolas nodded. 'WAIT! WHAT!?' I suddenly yelled. 'What?' 'We.. we made our present bows out of the wood that wasn't burned, and the last wood of that tree?' He nodded. 'We also made arrows, and swore to kill every orc that invaded our kingdom again.' Legolas smiled. 'I'm happy you remember!' I smiled too and we sat down again, and started to eat. Vegetables never tasted so good before.
--------------------------------
I'm sorry it was written so.... strange, and it was constantly changing, but so is Tauriel, she doesn't know who she is, or how to act like an elf, she's confused and trying to break free from her feeling something isn't right, something has changed within her. I hope that explains it all for you! :D
Oh other thing, I don't know how many chapters it will take for her to meet Kili, 'cuz first she needs a bond with Legolas, and some few memories back! :D Oki?
Thanks for reading, please comment and vote, and when I have more than 10-15 votes I'll update 2 chapters, but I donno when SORRYYYY I'll make it as long as I can write, Gosh I feel like Gandalf now! 'A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to!' 'It's updating, mr/mrs Reader, and it will continue to update, until the update is done!' XD the Wattpad verison of a genius quote! ;D
Okay byeeeeeeee!!! ~WatsonTheHobbit
