Chapter 24.
* * * *
These past couple of hours have been mostly silent, with the occasional bump. I catch Springtrap eyeing me strangely every now and then, which I can understand. I attacked him without knowing it, I thought he was someone else...and when he said something about an electric sphere appearing in my hand? That's unheard of. It must be a power I've received from one of the gems. But which one?
And now that Bendy can speak, he doesn't have to only react anymore. That should make things a lot easier to understand him. But I've been thinking a lot about Optimus and Bumblebee, I miss my good friends. I can only assume that they're alright, and I haven't felt anything bad go wrong. So that's a good start. I didn't feel any kind of energy back on the island, other than the volcano eruption. But no sign of the gem, so it might be wherever we're headed. Heavy rain falls onto the cover above our heads, making it hard to hear the drivers.
I take a peanut butter granola bar out of my bag. I've been hungry for a while but was afraid that the motion of the truck would make me sick, since I do get car sick. But I feel pretty weak at this point and need some energy. I open the granola bar and take a few bites. Mmmm, I love peanut butter. One of my favorite things to eat.
"Ugh...how much longer until this ride is over?" Bendy complained.
I swallow the granola bar, "How should I know? I can't see anything."
Both of them stared at me with a strange look, which confused me greatly. They've been looking at me weird ever since I woke up and it concerns me. Why do they look at me like that? Is something wrong with me? If so, why won't they tell me? I sigh and continue to eat my granola bar. Don't wanna get hangry. And I mean hangry, not hungry.
"Ya know, I was very skeptical concerning the stuff you were talking about earlier. The alien robot thing." Springtrap said.
I looked towards the tattered bunny.
"Mhm, and?" I ask.
"Well...considering how we're in a reality where fucking dinosaurs are back in existence just by walking through a vortex, I'm starting to think you're telling the truth." He admitted.
"That's what we've been telling you." Bendy butted in.
I finish my food and put the wrapper in a tiny pocket of my bag. It's nice that Springtrap believes me, or sorta does.
"Yeah, they exist. But there's one teensy thing I didn't tell you about them...." I say sheepishly.
Both the boys attention were on me with serious faces, "What?"
"Bendy, you saw one of them, but that wasn't his real size. Think of it like mini him." I say.
"Wait, are you saying that he was only in a smaller state? How big is he really?" Bendy asked.
"I'd say around 25 to 30 feet tall, and that's average size of them really." I said.
Springtrap and Bendy were both silent as the old bunny's eyes were the size of plates. Well, I know I may have scared them, but they should know the truth before they get too far into this.
"That's HUGE. And you're telling us this NOW??" The bunny asks.
"What, you want me to lie and say that they're only 6 maybe 7 feet tall at full size? We're in a world with huge dinosaurs, there's not much difference other than flesh and metal." I argue.
Bendy was about to protest, then he thought about it. At least I told them the truth rather than lie about it, but I may have jeopardized this entire mission and they might wanna bail on me. The bunny looked off to the side with an angered expression, grumbling to himself. The truck then came to a stop, catching all of our attention. We heard the driver get of the cab and slam the door, headed for us.
Bendy got to his feet, so did Springtrap. They covered the entrance to the truck bed in a protective stance, ready for a fight. I slowly stood and grabbed my gun from it's holster, I dunno who this is. The flap of the cover to the truck bed was lifted, revealing a younger bald man with brown eyes. His eyes widened as Springtrap and Bendy went straight for him, the bunny doing his jumpscare screech as Bendy let out a blood curdling growl.
The man yelped and fell backwards onto the wet pavement, my two friends launching out into the pouring rain. I made my way towards the flap to see Bendy and Springtrap towering over the cowering man. The guy turned and ran off as fast as he could. I heard both of them chuckling, it must've been quite entertaining to them. I quickly grab my red sweatshirt out of my bag and toss it on while pulling my hood up, it's POURING. Jumping out of the truck, I land in a puddle with a huge splash. If I wasn't wet when I jumped out, I sure am now. I felt the bandages on my face come loose from the rain, I peel them off to expose my injury from Nightmare Freddy.
I noticed Bendy's ink starting to run as he was drenched, and he did as well. He needs to get inside before he becomes diluted, if that makes sense. I don't know how Bendy works, this might be completely fine for all I know. But by the way he noticed his ink running, I think it's concerning. I look to the left and see a large mansion, we could seek shelter from the rain in there. So this is where they're gonna auction off the dinosaurs.
Unfortunately, that's not why we're here. We're here to find the gem for Quintessa, and to be honest, I'm secretly thinking of how to defeat her with her own creation. She said she was watching me, she didn't say anything about hearing my thoughts. I feel the gems energy nearby, so all we gotta do is find it. I shake my head and point to the mansion.
"We need to get inside before we're spotted. The gem is here, I can feel it. Now let's go." I run towards the entrance.
They follow behind me as I make it to the front door which was shielded from the rain by an awning. I removed my sweatshirt to wring it out, for it is completely soaked. Springtrap wasn't much better, he flung his hands to hopefully dry them off. It sorta worked, better than nothing I guess. I turn towards the door of the mansion, grabbing the doorknob and turning it. It actually was unlocked as we entered into a very formal foyer, if that's what it's called.
The walls were a dark brown with stained wood, it was quite nice. Not somewhere I'd live, but it's rather nice. I prefer the countryside where you can get muddy and have some fun, I ain't about the fancy life. We walk in and I wipe my feet on the doormat, I still have manners in a time like this.
"This place is rather fancy, the etiquette is exquisite and on fleek." Bendy said.
"Wow, I wasn't expecting fancy words out of you Bendy." I tease.
"I'm an Ink Demon, not an animal." He said.
"Heh, if my father knew I was friends with a demon of any sort, he'd think I was involved in a cult or something. Which I'm not. You might be an Ink Demon, but you're a rather friendly one." I smile at Bendy.
The Demons smile returned as it did not jitter. We walk through the halls of the mansion, and it's completely barren. Which is rather strange. I was thinking it would be full of people where they're gonna auction the dinosaurs. That is, if they wanted to be caught immediately. There must be a secret area within this estate, it's pretty ideal.

"Heh, if my father knew I was friends with a demon of any sort, he'd think I was involved in a cult or something. Which I'm not. You might be an Ink Demon, but you're a rather friendly one." Sky said to the Ink Demon.
It was now The Fallen's turn to observe the human. He sat comfortably upon a throne while keeping his attention on the screen.
"Your father sounds uptight. But, shouldn't we go find that jewel or something?" The old bunny asked the human.
"Certainly. It's around here somewhere, I can feel it." Sky walked through a doorway into a spacious room with large dinosaur skeletons on display.
Wonder filled her new Autobot like eyes as they landed on the fossils. Springtrap and Bendy walked in to see the skeletons as well, more confused than anything else. The human looked for anything seeming out of place, then she noticed a keypad on the wall next to a bookshelf. She approached the keypad as her compatriots were gazing upon the fossils, she ran her fingers over the buttons.
"These are the warmest..." She pressed certain buttons in a random order.
A bookshelf opened before her eyes with a loud hiss. It caught the attention of the old bunny and Ink Demon, they turned their heads to see the human entering what seemed like an empty office.
"It's in here, I know it." She began looking around.
She started by looking in cabinets that were in the office, so far finding nothing. Sky grumbled to herself as she was searching for the gem, very vulgar words could be heard from her grumbles. The two creatures entered and saw the human rummaging around the office.
"Are you sure it's in here?" The Ink Demon asked.
"It has to be, I feel it nearby." Sky replied with her back to them.
Springtrap crossed his arms and looked around the office, taking in the sights and looking for a possible place for the gem to be. He walked towards the human to help her look, the Ink Demon keeping an eye out if anyone were to come into the office. Sky opened another drawer to see the very thing they were searching for, the yellow gem.
"Found it!" She removed the gem from the drawer and held it in her hand.
"Why isn't it glowing? The other gems did when I found them and opened a portal." She asked.
"I cannot tell you that, I don't know what I'm looking at other than a little gemstone." The old bunny said.
She placed the gem into its place, it still did not glow. This confused the Fallen as well. The gems should all glow and generate a portal to the next world, but it was not doing so. Sky walked out of the office as the old bunny followed her out. She continued to look at the not glowing gem as she exited the room, sighing.
"There must be something we need to do first-" She said as a little girl ran into her.
The little girl was taken by surprise to see Sky in front of her as well as her compatriots. The child hid behind Sky to keep herself from the Demon and Animatronic. The human looked down at the little girl, surprise filling her blue robot eyes.
"Uh, hi there. What's your name?" Sky asked sweetly.
"M-Mazie." The little girl said, her tone shaky.
"What's wrong Mazie?" She asks.
"Th-Theres a m-monster on the loose..." Mazie clung onto Sky, terrified.
"What monster?" She kneeled and asked.
The little girl turned and pointed to a doorway where clicking against hardwood floor could be heard. The humans robot eyes widened at the sight of a raptor walking into view. It resembled the raptor she had befriended, only it was doubled in size, darker toned, had hair like spines on its back, and piercing red slit eyes.
The Ink Demon and tattered rabbit stared at the raptor in terror, it was larger than both of them in height and weight. Sky only watched the beast as it stepped into the room, eyeing the little girl at her side. Drool dripped from the beasts teeth in hunger and bloodlust. The human caught the raptors eye, a frown came upon her face.
"What is that thing?" Sky asked.
"They made it...they call it the Indoraptor..." Mazie said.
Sky facepalmed, "THIS...this is why humanity shouldn't try to play God and create a new species, it ends up in disaster."
The Indoraptor roared at them, her compatriots frozen in fear. Sky looked towards them with furrowed brows.
"Guys, protect Mazie. I got an idea. Mazie, they will keep you safe. Trust me." Sky told them.
"Kid I don't know what you think you're doing-" Springtrap started.
Mazie did not hesitate and hid behind Springtrap and Bendy, Sky took a step towards the Indoraptor as it was still eyeing Mazie.
"Hey you overgrown lizard!" She yelled.
The Indoraptor faced Sky with a growl, it's eyes full of anger.
"If you want her, you gotta go through me first! Come at me!" Sky shouted.
The creature wasted no time and charged at the human, it's jaw full of sharp teeth gaping open.

"If you want her, you gotta go through me first! Come at me!" Sky shouted at the large raptor.
My optics widen at the sight of my best female friend challenging something almost 3 times her size. The creature called the Indoraptor charged towards her with its mouth open, Sky's stance changed as if she was about to jump out of the way. And she did just that. She dodged the animal with lighting speed as it blew right past her, her friends hiding in the office as protection.
I've never seen Sky so serious before, around me she was such a goofball and a fun human to be around. She was calm and collected around Optimus, mainly because I knew she liked him. But now, she's against a large supposed to be extinct animal. One that humanity created.
The Indoraptor roared once again and faced Sarah with an angered look, charging at her once again. She only dodged the thing once again, but this time, she jumped onto the beast.
