Toothless just sat down, staring at me. Almost like he is when Hiccup paid him a visit in the cove, I smile at the Night Fury when suddenly Fugi dropped next to me. Toothless was suddenly on guard and snarling at the Predator, I got in between them.

"Whoa whoa, easy now. Toothless, this is my friend. He won't hurt any of you, right Fugi?" I shot a serious stare at him.

Fugi sighs and nods, "I will not harm any of you reptiles."

Toothless slowly eased up, his girlfriend however was still cautious. The Night Lights peek around their mother, the blue eyed one came barreling around her towards Toothless. The dragon noticed his baby coming our way, he snorted as the baby was a meter away from us. The Night Light then sat and stared up at Fugi and I, his little tail swaying side to side.

"Awwww, you're so adorable!" I say, my hands over my heart as I felt it melting.

Mamma Light Fury growled, the little Night Lights ears drooped and he solemnly went back to his mother. So the Light Fury is still iffy around humans, I can understand that. But it would seem that Night Light of hers takes after it's father, who seems to like people. I look to Toothless, who was watching his baby nuzzle his mother.

"I think he takes after you, liking people." I say.

Toothless looks at me, then snorting. I giggle as I slowly held my hand out to him, his black pupils widen. He cautiously sniffs my hand, curious of me. Then I felt scales, Toothless had placed his chin in my hand. My eyes widen, I'm touching TOOTHLESS!!! He stares at me for a moment with a gurgle, then going to the animal that he had brought home.

"Aren't they beautiful, Fugi?" I ask.

"Beautiful is a strong word, I would say primitive." Fugi began walking towards one of the walls of this cove.

I walk behind him, the masked alien looks up at the cliffs.

"You remain here, I will go find food." Fugi said.

"No killing dragons, remember?" I remind him.

"Yes yes, no flying reptiles. Now you remain here and get some rest, you have not slept at all." Fugi said as he then started scaling the rocky cliff.

Now that I think of it, he's right. I haven't slept at all last night because of running fron the Mega Predator, and right now it's noon. I sat down and leaned against a boulder, I immediately felt drowsy. A short nap couldn't hurt. I look back to the dragons who were minding their own business, then I closed my eyes. I fell asleep within minutes.

Sky had fallen asleep while the predator had gone off to hunt for food, the human was resting soundly while the dragons ate their own meal. Toothless snuck a glance at her on the other side if the cove, seeing that she was asleep, then going back to eating. The Light Fury ate her fair portion while the Night Lights were fighting over food, the one night light that had approached her and Fugi before was struggling to get his fair share.

His siblings were pushing him around while they got to eat, the baby dragon then gave up on trying to eat any more and walked away from the carcass. The night light was saddened and hungry, he then looked over to the sleeping girl on the other side if the cove. The dragon glanced back at his family to see if his mother was watching, she wasn't, he took the chance and started walking towards Sky.

The night light kept glancing to see if his mother would look up and see him, she hadn't noticed as she was eating still. The dragon then hopped and was at Sky's side in no time, happily gurgling. The human was still sound asleep as the night light was only inches from her, the baby dragon sniffing cautiously. He then circled around her to get a better look at Sky, catching a glimpse of her bag.

The night light took one sniff of the bag and immediately pulled back, clearly disgusted by the scent of something within the bag. The baby dragon swatted the bag away from her with his tail, then smiled and began crawling onto her lap. The human whined as the dragon crawled onto her lap, attempting to readjust into a more comfortable position. Once she did so, the night light was now curled up on her legs and she was resting comfortably. She unwittingly place her hand on the night lights back and the dragon purred, closing his eyes and falling asleep as well.

A few hours had passed when the Predator then returned carrying 2 large sheep on his back, he jumped down into the small cove and saw that his human friend was not alone. He was rather surprised despite his bio mask hiding his face, he strode towards them and set the 2 sheep down. The sound caught the attention of the dragons, but as they had already eaten they did not care.

The Light Fury then noticed that one of her babies was near the sleeping human and began to growl, getting up from her previous resting position. But Toothless stopped her with his wing, warbling and glancing at the human before back to her. The female began making noises as if she were arguing back, Toothless only sighed as if to say "Alright, I'll handle it".

Fugi had begun skinning the sheep free of their wool, and skin, as the night fury was approaching them. Toothless didn't seem to be making a big deal of the matter as he was fine with Sky and his baby napping together, but he would at least be making his mate happy by doing something. The Predator noticed the male dragon approaching his friend, he ceased skinning the sheep and went to intercept the dragon.

But he stopped when Toothless only nudged Sky gently, gurgling as he was only try to awaken her.

I groaned as I felt someone nudging me awake.

"5 more minutes..." I mutter and open my eyes.

I yelped in surprise as I wasn't expecting to see Toothless nudging me, he was a bit spooked as I yelped but he only gurgled and looked at me.

"Oh hi Toothless, what's up?" I ask.

Toothless then looks to my lap, I looked down and saw that there was his baby laying in my lap. I gasped, the darn night light must've decided it was cuddle time while I was napping, cuz he was all curled up and asleep. I look to the night fury and was rather nervous.

"Oh my gosh Toothless, I had NO idea your kid was on me." I say.

Toothless then lifted his paw and put it right back down, almost like "Nah, don't worry about it". I smiled and look back down at the sleeping night light.

"Hey little buddy, time to wake up." I whisper and move my legs a little bit.

OH DANG THIS BABY IS HEAVY. I can barely move my legs! The little dragon opens his beautiful blue eyes and looks up at me, a cute little sneeze coming out of him. I giggle as it was such an adorable sneeze, the baby then sees his father. Toothless then gestures the baby to come with him, and the baby looks sad. Like...He doesn't want to leave.

"Go on little bud, go with your father." I tell him.

The night light looks at me with sad eyes, it breaks my heart when animals look at me like that. I'm a softie for almost any animal, including dragons.

"It's okay, I'll be over here if you want to pay a visit!" I pet the baby dragons back softly.

The night light then perked and looked quite happy, leaping off my lap and nudging his father. It was like a child trying to beg his father to get him something he really wanted from the store, Toothless then made noises that sounded like a chuckle and nodded his head. The baby dragon squealed with delight and went barreling off towards his mother and other siblings, the night fury glanced at me while rolling his eyes with a toothless smile.

He was walking back to his family while I noticed Fugi standing not far from where Toothless was, just watching.

"Hey Fugi, did you find food?" I ask and stood up, my legs rather numb.

"Yes, I did. Enough for a day or 2." He gestured to 2 huge horned sheep, both skinned.

"A day or 2?? That could last us at least a week!" I asked.

I went to grab my bag only to notice it a few feet away, some of its contents like my flashlight and 2 water bottles spilled out of it. I go and put everything back in the bag, swinging the bag over my shoulder and walking towards Fugi's kills. I began judging the size of them, and they're quite large.

"Yeah, this should last us a up to at least a week." I say.

"I eat much more than oomans do, Sky." Fugi said as he grabbed one that was midway finished skinned.

Ah so that explains it.

"Well, we should probably set up a campsite. Who knows how long we'll be here looking for the gem."

Fugi nods.
