Green Gem| HTTYD. Part 13

Sky's eyes widen at the sight of the children.

"Zephyr, Squee, it's okay. Yes, Fugi doesn't look normal, but just because he looks different doesn't mean he's going to hurt you." She stated.

"Wh-What is he..." Zephyr stuttered.

Fugi stood from the log and set the dessert plate down on the log, grabbing his mask and coming up next to me.

"He is what is called a Yautja. Yautja are hunters who like to hunt big animals for honor, not vikings." She says.

"But then...why travelling with him..?" Squee asks.

"Because she saved my life twice, and for that I owe her." Fugi's translator crackles.

The kids gasp as they hear the translator speak but the aliens mandibles remain still.

"Yeah, I did. Once from an assassin and the other from execution, he's now my emotional support. I have terrible anxiety, basically fear for an unknown reason, but he knows that I do to calm me down. His presence alone helps me keep composure." Sky explains.

The 2 Viking children still looked scared of the massive alien, but they somewhat eased. But then the armored girl hugged the Yautja tightly, Fugi purred and hugged her back with his chin resting on top of her head. Zephyr and Squee then looked mildly confused, but also more relaxed.

"See? He won't hurt me or you, not on purpose. And neither will I. I only get violent when someone harms an animal, a child, friends, family, et cetera." Sky looked to them.

"What doing when we came over?" Squee asks.

The 2 friends pull out of the hug.

"What were WE doing? Oh, I bet Fugi couldn't eat a slice of cake. He didn't like it, but I loved it. Him and I have different senses of taste, as you can tell."

"We certainly do. That 'cinnamon' was horrible." Fugi muttered.

"So you give up? Where's your honor?" Sky crossed her arms.

"Anything else but THAT, I will gladly challenge." The alien held his stomach.

A burp escaped the Yautja, causing both of the kids and the young girl to laugh. Fugi sneered and put his mask back on to hide his face, Sky going and picking up the piece of cinnamon cake while using the fork to keep eating. She smiled as Fugi only stared at her through the mask.

"This is really good, I don't know HOW you don't like it." Sky said as she swallowed.

"Because it's wretched." He said.

"To you," She looked to the kids, "Um, can you NOT tell anyone about what Fugi looks like? Well at least not until after we leave?" Sky asks.

The kids nod and run off.

Holy SHIT we dodged a bullet there, Zephyr and Squee almost ratted us out. I'm sure that cost Fugi and I some cool points with them, and maybe their parents later. It's awfully dark out now and I don't know what time it is, I wish clocks existed in this time period. Hey wait. MY PHONE! Wow I'm a dumbass, but my phone is in my bag at Hiccup and Astrids house. I had finished the cinnamon cake and looked to Fugi.

"Do you think it's a good time to leave?" I ask.

"Certainly, I don't think those ooman pups will remain quiet for long." He says.

"Kids, Fugi. They're called kids, or children. Now we gotta go back to Hiccups house because I left my stuff there." I sighed.

We turned and began walking back to the chiefs home. How am I getting so lucky on this journey? First I get my broken ribs healed by the Mega Predator, this sick alien armor and marked by a Predator Elder, then I meet the dragons from my favorite animated movie series, have a connection to one of Toothless and Snowfalls babies, meet Hiccup and his family and they let us stay in their HOUSE? It almost seems too easy...not that I'm complaining. But I want a CHALLENGE. Something to prove that I'm not a little girl who needs protecting from a Predator.

We reached the house and went inside, myself going into the room where I left my bag and grabbed it. I exited the room and looked out a window for some reason, but I saw Toothless and his family walking away into the woods. I gasped, ran out the door past Fugi and after the dragons. Fugi followed behind me.

"Toothless wait!" I shouted as I ran towards them.

The Night Fury turned to see me coming, tilting his head and rumbling. Snowfall and her babies stopped and faced us, Eclipse lighting up as he saw me. I slid to a halt in the dry snow, stirring up a cold mist as I panted.

"Toothless, Snowfall...This is probably gonna be the last time we meet. So...I wanted to say goodbye to you all before Fugi and I take off as well." I said.

The two adult dragons looked saddened when I said we were leaving, especially my little Eclipse. His big blue eyes were wide and his pupils dilated, his siblings only looked bummed. I kneeled down so the Night Light could approach me, Eclipse came barreling up to me with a sad little 'raawr' and pounced into my chest. I grunted as all his weight slammed into me, he's a heavy little guy for his small size.

Eclipse buried himself into my chest plating, whimpering and what sounded like actual crying. I look down at my favorite little dragon as tears pricked my eyes, this is going to kill me. Eclipse looked up at me, his sad eyes staring at me in a begging matter.

"I'm sorry, Eclipse...You have to go with your family. It's too dangerous for you to come with us and if something happened to you...." I felt the tears start streaming down my cheeks.

But the Night Light licked my nose, he's only making it harder.

"Eclipse...I'm serious. You CAN'T come. Your family needs you more than I do.." I sniffled.

I gently push the baby dragon back towards his family as a yellow portal opened not too far from Fugi and me, the portal startled the dragons as they weren't expecting it. I stand up and glance at Fugi, refusing to look at my dragon.

"Let's go." I choked.

Fugi nodded. I could hear the dragons warbling and Eclipse crying out for me to come back, but I forced myself to ignore them. The alien and I walked through the portal, a breeze blowing past us. I heard Eclipse cry out again, but Fugi and I had exited the portal into who knows where. We looked around to see that we were in the middle of an empty road, it was eerily quiet.

That was until we heard a chirp behind us. We turned our heads to see a little blue eyed black and white baby dragon sitting behind us, just as the yellow portal sealed.

Eclipse had followed us.
