I was about 20 weeks in early February, and I had a checkup to find out the sex of the baby. I couldn't wait. Calum kept saying it was a boy, but I insisted that it was a girl. At my appointment, would be able to find out.

We worked out everything about the tour, and I was able to go with them, and we were leaving in a little more than two weeks. It was going to be fun. I was so excited, and so were the boys. Their first show was going to be in London on the 23rd, and we were leaving the 20th, in fifteen days. The boys talked lost nonstop about the tour. They were too excited. I liked hearing about it, but it got a little bit annoying after a while.

Anyways, Calum and I were getting ready for the checkup. I was ready, and Calum was still in the room getting ready. I went up to tell him to hurry up, so I walked into the room, only to see him without pants or underwear on.

"Calum! Get ready faster! We need to leave!" I raised my voice a little.

"Sorry!" He said, getting his underwear on quickly.

"Get some pants on and let's go! You don't have to dress up," I sighed and close the door behind me.

"I'm coming! I'll be there in a minute!" He yelled as I ran down the stairs.

He came out a minute later and walked towards me in the car. He hopped into the driver's side of the car, and we drove off. We then arrived at the doctor's office and walked in. I filled out a paper or two then sat next to Calum who was really excited to find out what the baby was. I was really excited too. I couldn't stop moving. Luckily, the nurse came out and called my name quickly.

Calum and I walked into a room, and she immediately got the stuff for an ultrasound ready. She had my lie down and pull my shirt up, then she put the cold gel on my stomach. She moved it around, and asked, "You both want to know the sex, right?"

"Yes please," Calum told her.

"Well, you should be expecting..." She moved the wand around a little bit more before finishing her sentence, "a baby girl!"

I was so excited. I looked at Calum and his face was lit up. He was happy too. I grabbed his hand and said, "We have a baby girl, Cal.."

He looked back at me and smiled, "Yeah, we do."

We left the doctors after I got the gel off of my stomach. We left to the mall to buy lots of stuff for her. Our first stop, though, was lunch.

We got back to the house that Calum and I got together. It had three rooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, a kitchen and dining room. We put the baby's stuff in the room closest to Calum's and my bedroom. We had bought her a crib, a dresser, some stuff for the wall, a rocking chair, and lots of cute little outfits for newborns. I knew that I still had about sixteen to twenty more weeks to go, but I wanted to be prepared.

We put all the stuff in the nursery after painting the wall pink and black. It looked beautiful, but it was a lot of work. After a long day, Calum and I had lain down in our bed.

"Babe..." Calum said.

"Yeah Cal?"

"What should we name Miss Hood?" He asked.

"I'm not sure, but.. let's talk about hat another time. Maybe later on in the pregnancy. I'm tired."

"Okay," I agreed.

He wrapped his arm around me, and we were cuddling.  Then turned towards him, putting my head into his chest. I then asked him, "Are you glad we're having a girl? Or did you want a boy?"

"I'd like either one. But now I'm going to have a little princess, so I am happy. She'll be a daddy's girl for sure," He answered, then smiled, "What about you?"

"Yeah. I'm happy that it's a girl.. But she'll be a mummy's girl."

"Okay, sure.." He said sarcastically.

"Well, what if she is?" I looked up at him.

"She won't be a mummy's girl because her daddy is so cool."

"And hot too," I smirked at him.

"Her mum is even more hot."

"But her daddy is the hottest," I fought back.

He kissed my head, "Babe, let's get some sleep"

I stayed in the position I was in: facing him with my head in his chest. I wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him closer to me. He kissed my head once more, then put a hand on my stomach as if to protect the baby, then the other arm around me. I fell asleep happy and satisfied.
