Once Upon A Time, I went to a school called Mason High. There, I was a cheerleader, to be exact, the captain of the cheerleading squad. Popularity and me mixed together like shoes and socks. That was until my father and mother got divorced.

It was only because of one stupid argument. My mother went on and on saying that he only sits on the couch. My father went on and on saying my mother needs to take a chill pill.

She didn't take that all to well.

One second, I was in my room, dressing my new American Girl Doll. She had bright fire engine red hair, and dark green eyes. I didn't care if they were for little kids, I may be sixteen, but I can still love them. The next second, my mother had gotten into my room and told me to pack my things, and leave.

I did as I was told and gathered all my dolls. I only had four, so they all fit into my bag just fine. Next, I got clothing and shoes. Finally, I got my doll clothing. Afterwards, where I was going was completely unknown.

An hour later, I found myself standing outside the door of my Aunt Michelle's house. My mother, who was in tears, rang the doorbell and we quickly got an answer.

"Jane, what are you doing here. Why is Brook with you?" My aunt asked politely. She always made an excuse to use my name. Brook West. It's so generic.

"Paul and I got into a fight, and this time, it was the last straw," My mother replied. I tried to say something, but my mother gave me a signal to cut it out.

My aunt nodded and quickly opened her door, letting us inside. Aunt Michelle's house was always pretty, with her blue couch, and blue rug, and blue everything. This lady just had a thing for blue!

"Jane, you can stay in the guest room. Brook, you can stay downstairs," she said, pointing towards the stairway.

That horrible woman.

I put my bag over my shoulder and headed towards the dark basement.
