"Welcome, everyone!" Yoongi could barely keep still at the amount of people in the room.
There were a bunch of chairs angled up to have a perfect view of the little stage floor that the professor was sitting at, his legs longer than the stool he was on. "My name is Kim Namjoon, otherwise known as Mr. Kim to you students, and welcome to Emerald University's Musical Theatre class. I am your most lovely professor. Nice to meet you all."
The man had a soft smile on him and his dimples slightly showed from where Yoongi could see. His big brown eyes looked soft, had a warm feel to them. He in general looked like a nice guy and most of everyone here knows who he is. Emerald University is a place where Theatre nerds want to go to school. It's one of the best around. Of course they knew who Mr. Kim was already.
"Now," the professor stood up from his stool. "this is a class of singing, acting, dancing, stage presence, makeup, costume, choreography, costumes, lighting, set design— and I could go on and on all day with all of the important roles of being in this class." Mr. Kim smiled up at them even more, clearly excited to actually be here. "Just remember that there are no small parts in this class." Yoongi caught a glimpse of the back of Kim Taehyung's head, who was sitting towards the front with a pencil gripped tightly in his hand. "No small roles. Everyone here is important."
Yoongi wanted to scoff. His high school teacher used to say that as well. She would ask Yoongi and Taehyung to sometimes audition for smaller parts in their plays, but only because she would say "Don't you think it should be at least a little fair to the others? Besides, maybe you will fit a smaller role instead of the lead this time." and Yoongi or Taehyung would still end up being given the lead role, leaving the rest of the class disappointed but not surprised. And of course it got to Yoongi's head, the few times he had actually managed to take the lead role right out from under Kim Taehyung's hands.
"Today we will just be doing some exercises." Mr. Kim continued. Yoongi knew exactly what kind of exercises he meant before he even said anything. Theatre exercises. Something that was actually quite fun. Funner than any normal exercises. "I'm sure you may know some of these exercises if you have been in any class like this before, which I'm guessing you have. Also do not worry if you are new to theatre. I am here to teach and guide you through it all. So today, let's all pretend like it is our very first day in a musical theatre class, yeah? Let's teach the newcomers how it all works here."
The teacher raised his arms, urging the students in the class to stand. They stood one by one, ready to do whatever it is that Mr. Kim had planned. "We can start out with actual exercises." He said. "Loosen up your body and let's get started so that we can move onto the real theatre games and by the end of class, I will assign you your very first assignment."
Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows. Assignment on the very first day? Clearly some other people had the same thoughts because the professor merely chuckled at them.
"Don't worry. It's not a big task." Mr. Kim stood up broader. "I will personally add everyone here in a group chat later today and I will resend the details there. Any other questions can be asked there as well because I know some of you cannot stick around to ask questions today since it is a busy day. The groupchat can be used to set schedules, interact and set rehearsals. Anyways, let's get started, shall we?" He smiled.

An introduction to class
If you don't know what theatre games/exercises are, it's just fun games you play to improve your acting/expressions and improv. Some of the games are actually fun lmao
