Taehyung was pretty positive that he had the upper ground tonight. That's all he ever wanted, is to put Min Yoongi in his place. And if a perfect opportunity comes, he takes it. He always will. Because Yoongi has been the biggest pain in Taehyung's ass for years.
So as he knocks on the apartment door that is right next to his own, he puts his hands in his hoodie pocket and smiles in satisfaction as he watched the door open, Seokjin appearing behind it. He welcomed them very warmly. That was something that Taehyung noticed when they had dinner here before. Seokjin is a fun, lively, warm person. The complete opposite vibes from what Yoongi gives.
"The food is almost finished." Seokjin opened the door wider for them. He seemed to have a bright smile on his face. Brighter than the first time they had dinner. One thing that Taehyung noticed was how Jimin shied up all of a sudden. He didn't question it. Instead, he walked by them and walked in further to try and catch a glimpse of his target.
His target looked a little different from what he had expected, though. As he looked in the kitchen, he could most definitely see Min Yoongi standing with his back to him, but his hair was different. It was blonde. It caught Taehyung off guard for a second and he didn't even realize that Seokjin had walked up behind him and put an arm around him.
"Kitty's cooking because he lost a bet with me last night." Seokjin chuckled as Yoongi suddenly turned to look at them. His blonde hair made him look so much more different than usual, and the sudden nickname that Seokjin gave him also made Tae feel lost. Taehyung shook his head. Kitty? Blonde hair? Is this guy even Min Yoongi?
"Fuck off." Yoongi huffed.
Oh, yeah. That's Min Yoongi alright.
"I'll set the table." Seokjin completely ignored the smaller, taking his arm away from Taehyung and brushing past Yoongi in the small kitchen as he reached for a cabinet. "You two can go ahead and sit down at the table if you want." He continued as he pulled plates down. Taehyung hadn't even noticed that Jimin was standing behind him.
He nodded. "Okay."
As time went on, they settled down at the table in the same exact seats that they were in last time. Jimin hummed as he looked over at Yoongi with an odd look.
"You just look so different." He suddenly announced. "I mean black hair looks good on you, but blonde just makes you look so different." He stuffed his mouth with food before he could say any more. Yoongi just looked down at his own food, not sure what to really say back to Jimin.
"It makes him look more delicate, right?" Seokjin asked. "He's like a doll."
Jimin nodded and Taehyung took it upon himself to look at Yoongi to really get a feel of what they were talking about. "A doll." He pressed his chopsticks against his lips in deep thought. "He looks.." Taehyung held his chopsticks tighter before looking away, not caring that Yoongi wasn't looking back at him or that he was being ignored.
"Pretty." Jimin muttered.
"I- I wouldn't say that." Yoongi shook his head, catching everyone's attention. "It's just hair. I—"
"I wouldn't say so, either." And suddenly all eyes were on Taehyung instead. He wasn't even sure what he was saying. The one time he agreed with Yoongi. The one time he saw surprise in Yoongi's eyes as he looked up at him. The one time that it had actually felt wrong to have spoken up. "I mean— I agree that it's just hair. But um.. I don't know. There's nothing wrong with hair being pretty, though." He really tried to save it.
Seokjin chuckled from across the table at him. "So you do think Yoongi is pretty?"
Taehyung's eyes widened as Yoongi lowered his chopsticks and looked up at him, waiting for an answer. He wasn't sure what the hell he was supposed to say, but they waited. And waited. Until Taehyung felt weird.
"Do you think I'm pretty?"
Looking into Yoongi's big, glossy brown eyes and seeing the pout on his lips as he asked. Seeing the soft colored locks of hair and feeling a slight kick against his leg from under the table, coming from Jimin. Taehyung blinked out of his mind and looked away as quickly as possible. "Sure." He answered. Silence in the room. Then, "Your hair is pretty."
Taehyung could now breathe again.
"Yoongi." Jimin took out his phone and smiled at him. "You are pretty."

"Tweeting at the dinner table." Seokjin shook his head as Jimin set his phone face down on the table. Taehyung was too busy trying to stuff his face to stay out of awkward conversations that he didn't even notice Seokjin grabbing Jimin's hand from under the table to stop him from picking up his phone again.
It took a good while for them to finish dinner, but it wasn't getting late anytime soon.
"So, Seokjin." Yoongi leaned back in his chair and smiled sweetly. "I know I cooked, but me and Taehyung will clean the table and wash the dishes. You and Jimin can go to your room and work on your project if you want, which I'm sure you would absolutely love."
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows as he watched Seokjin's arm move away from Jimin's. At first he thought it was because they were sitting so close, but now that he thinks about it, his and Yoongi's arms aren't as close as their are. Maybe their chairs were just placed closer than his and Yoongi's.
Seokjin stood up quickly.
"Hah. Who am I to deny such an offer?" He tapped Jimin's arm. "Let's go. We still have to work on the script." He said.
Yoongi smirked. "You mean the script that's already finished—"
"We'll be in my room." Seokjin glared at Yoongi and then smiled up at Taehyung. "Yoongi's just acting weird because he's mad at me. Don't worry, Taehyung. Have fun." He urged Jimin to leave the table.
"You two have fun as well!" Yoongi said as cheerfully as he could. Taehyung knew it was fake, but he was confused as to what the hell was happening. "Not too much fun!"
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows at the weird tone coming from Yoongi. "What the actual fuck are you saying?" He asked.
"None of your fucking business." Yoongi's eyes left the back of Seokjin's head and he glared at Taehyung instead, his fake cheerfulness disappearing. "If you're that fucking clueless then you don't even deserve to know. Let's clean up now." He said.
Taehyung wasn't going to question why Yoongi offered to clean everything with him. And he was expecting him to be more mad during dinner, but Taehyung was too busy settling down from his slip up earlier to even annoy him as much as he wanted.
As Taehyung was still in his thoughts, he felt a glass slip from his fingers. He cursed to himself as he watched the glass fall right underneath him, shattering onto the floor. Yoongi instantly turned his head at the sound and frowned as he looked down at Taehyung's feet.
"You did that on purpose." His arms dropped to his side as he looked at the mess. "That glass.." He frowned even more. "Fuck you, asshole." Yoongi squinted at him.
Taehyung shook his head instantly. "W-Wait, no. I didn't do it on purpose." He said.
"Just fucking stay still." Yoongi went into the kitchen and it took only a second for him to return with a broom and dust pan. He started sweeping at Taehyung's bare feet, trying to get the glass away from him so that he wouldn't step on any of it. "Asshole." He muttered.
The way Yoongi sighed as he looked at the glass sort of made Taehyung feel bad.
"I seriously didn't—"
"I don't care" Yoongi cut him off. "Step over and I'll go get a wet napkin to clean the rest. Just go stand over there." He pointed.
Taehyung did as he was told and waited for Yoongi to get done cleaning up the rest of the glass. After he finished, he stood up from his crouching position and looked up at him with a hint of annoyance in his eyes.
"Let's just go work on this project before I actually lose my shit."

Taehyung's plan to ruin Yoongi's night went all to hell. Well he did ruin it, but not in the way he wanted to. He actually kind of felt bad for breaking the glass, but Yoongi wouldn't listen to his apology even if he tried.
He stood awkwardly in Yoongi's room, waiting for Yoongi to say something, but he was typing away on his phone while biting back a sort of smile. Taehyung didn't know who he was messaging, but Yoongi suddenly stood up from his bed where he was sitting and he stepped up towards Taehyung, who was still standing in front of the bed awkwardly.
"You're going to leave me alone after this night, right?" Yoongi stepped even closer, making Taehyung confused but not scaring him as much as Yoongi probably thought he would. Instead of backing away, Taehyung just scoffed at Yoongi. "Seems like you deliberately like to cause me problems, Kim Taehyung." The shorter shook his head in disappointment and looked up at Taehyung with those big brown eyes again. "That's just sad."
Taehyung could feel the shift in play here. This isn't how they usually do things. Yoongi has never been so close to him like this. And the teasing tone of his voice..
"I deliberately annoy you because that's all you've done to me for years."
Yoongi smiled. "How funny. That's exactly how I feel." He said as he reached his hand down to Taehyung's. It took a second for Taehyung to even realize what was happening. Yoongi was now holding onto his hand. Min Yoongi is holding his hand. Not even two seconds later, he gave Taehyung a devilish look as he pulled Taehyung's hands around him, making Taehyung hold onto his waist.
His waist was soft. Taehyung didn't know why he held on, but he did. Yoongi's body was something that Taehyung had never even really thought of touching. Ever. And now here he was, being coaxed into touching him.
Taehyung wanted so badly to say something but his words were caught up in his throat. Speechless. He was lost, confused, felt like he was in a parallel universe.
"Yoon—"
Yoongi lunged into Taehyung's lips, pressing their lips together hard. Taehyung's whole entire body felt broken. Chills, shocks, confusion. It all hit him at once. The feeling of Yoongi's lips on his made him relax for some reason. His lips were soft. But none of this felt right. Something felt weird about it.
"Mm" He hummed in confusion as Yoongi pulled Taehyung's head forward, forcing him to stay into the kiss. Taehyung hummed once again, more patient now as Yoongi started kissing more, letting out a quiet moan as Taehyung pulled him forward more.
It was instinct to pull Yoongi forward. Taehyung had no fucking clue what he was doing, but Yoongi had started it. Yoongi was the one who was whining and pressing his lips into Taehyung's like he was begging for it. And so Taehyung just let it happen. He let himself kiss back. Let the sounds of smacking and low moans hit him like bullets. And he would be lying if he said he didn't like the feeling of his blood rushing throughout his whole body.
The sound of an opening door ringed inside of Taehyung's ears. "Hey, Yoongi. You te— Oh my fucking God. What the fuck?"
And suddenly Yoongi was pushing Taehyung away from him, his eyes wide and a fearful expression on his face. But as Taehyung looked back and forth from Jimin to Yoongi, Taehyung so obviously noticed that Yoongi's expression was fake. Exaggerating.
"What the fuck, Tae?" Jimin looked from Yoongi's open bedroom door with confusion all over his face. Taehyung stood like a fucking idiot trying to figure out what the fuck just happened. Yoongi merely stepped towards Jimin and let out a few curses.
"You weren't supposed to see that." Yoongi bit his lip as he looked at a hurt Jimin.
"Oh." Jimin's arm dropped to his side.
In Taehyung's brain, he was still so lost. He figured he should understand what was happening. Why Yoongi had kissed him. Why Jimin looked so upset. And why Jimin turned and ran out of the door, leaving Yoongi and Taehyung alone once again. He wasn't sure what to make of it, but Yoongi just smiled as Jimin left the room. There was a hint of joy in Yoongi's eyes. Real joy.
Fake. Fuck. It was all fake.
"Fuck." Taehyung had his fingertips pressing into his lips, the feeling of Yoongi's lips still lingering. "I don't understand.." Yoongi opened his door wider as if telling Taehyung to leave and he shrugged as he walked towards his bed to sit again, still smiling.
"Not my problem."
