"What are you leaving?" 

"You"

"B-but I don't understand. Did I do something wrong?"

"No honey, it wasn't you. I did something and it will probably ruin your life. you won't be normal. and you never were." My mother sympathetically reaches for my hand, but I pull my arm away before she can. 

"Don't touch me." I give her a look of disgust. "What did you do to me?" 

"I biologically infused you with the DNA of a raven."

"WHAT?" She biologically infused me with Raven DNA? When did she do that? HOW did she do that. "I-I'm done. I'm taking the house. Get out. Get away from me." I say, using all the power I had to not yell.

"We'll send you $10,000 a month so you can afford to have a house and food. Myca will also be getting $10,00 a month."

"Pack your things and go." I insist. They nod their heads and leave, putting two envelopes on the counter as they walk out the door. One of them had my name on it, the other Myca. I'm sitting at the table, processing what just happened, when I remember that Myca, Jade and Lauren are still in the TV room just down the hall. I called them out and when Myca asked why there were envelopes on the counter that had our names on them, I told him not to open them yet. He didn't question me, but on the contrary, realized there must be something valuable in there that I don't want the girls seeing. When they asked where my parents were, I told them that I would tell them later. Once again not questioning me, they kind of just looked at each other and shrugged. 

A little while later, after we had decided that we would make dinner, failed, and went to a nice place off main street that sold a nice vegan friendly veggie burger.
