"I will pay you good money to change it," Cici taunted.

"Not happening," Xavier expressed. We were in Xavier's garage, waiting for Blake, Angel and Nick to come. So Cici was using this time to convince Xavier to change her roommate.

"Please?" She pleaded, batting her eyes.

"Shut up already!" Max pleaded, covering his ears.

"Lizzy!" Cici whined.

"You like him. This is a good thing," I stated.

"But I don't want to share a room with him!"

"Be grateful. You're getting a free vacation. And Xavier, thanks. Love ya."

"No prob. It's free for me, too."

"Ugh!" Cici fell on the ground pathetically.

"You're so dramatic. I love it," Angel said as he walked toward her.

"Get away from me!" Cici yelled.

"When are you going to give up?" I asked Angel, laughing.

"Never! I'm Prince Charming to Cecile! Her ketchup to her mustard! Her groom to her bride!"

"Are you comparing me to mustard?"

"Yes."

"Romantic."

"I know, right?" 

"Let's go!" Blake yelled through the rented mini van Angel came from. We were taking two mini vans, so Nick was driving his mom's mini van to the beach. Nick was right behind him.

"To the beach we go!" I yelled as we all ran to a mini van.

"No!" Cici yelled as Angel pulled her into Nick's mini van. Angel started to laugh.

"You're not getting away from me!" He says as he shut the door. I started to chuckle as I made my way towards the back. Xavier took the wheel and Blake decided to join me in the backseat.

"Hey." Blake turned my face to his. I sighed inside when our eyes locked.

"Yes, Blakie?"

"I got you something." He pulls out a necklace box.

"Oh, Blake you shouldn't have," I said, grabbing the box and opening it. It was a silver necklace with a beautiful swirly heart pendant. I was so confused of why he'd given it to me. "It's beautiful, Blake. Why'd you get this?"

"Don't worry about it." He took the box, pulled the necklace out, and put it around my neck. "It looks nice on you." Blake seamed sad for some odd reason but I didn't think he had anything to be sad about. So I let it go.

We soon heard laughing coming from the front of the van. Xavier and Abby were kissing. They were so cute together. I wished I would have someone who would love me like those two. But my mind always came back to Blake. He'd taken me to a karaoke restaurant, we watched a movie together, almost kissed, and he gave me the heart necklace. What did this mean? Did he want to be together? Did he like me? Or was he just being silly?

"Woah!" Blake screamed just before he jumped into the pool. We wanted to wait until the next day to go to the beach since it was too late in the day.

"Ugh! What the hell, Blake?! Now I'm wet!" Cici yelled at Blake when he popped his head out of the water.

"You might as well be!" He yelled out, splashing her some more.

"Yea, Cici. Join me under the sea!" Angel said in a Jamaican accent, pulling her in the water.

"Angel! The water's so cold!"

"And I'm hot. Now that we got that cleared up, let's have fun!" Angel picked Cici up by the waist and threw her onto his shoulder.

"Let me go!"

"But I love you." Angel put her down. Cici's eyes softened like a pillow. They both looked each other in the eyes. Then Cici put her arms around his neck and kissed him slowly. Right then and there. In the middle of a pool. The girls gasped and the guys were nodding. I never though Cici had the heart to kiss someone. I guess I was wrong about her.

"Woah," Angel said when he got his breath back. Cici smiled at him. And not one of her fake smiles but a toothy smile. "I thought you hated me."

"That was all an act."

While I was mesmerized by this adorable love story, I didn't realize that Blake had made his way behind me. And by the time I noticed, it was too late. He dragged me under the water smiled at me. I wanted to laugh but I didn't want to drown so I swam back up.

"I can't trust you in the water!" I splashed water onto him. He started to laugh.

"You can't trust me anywhere." He started to splash me back.

"That's so true!" I yelled as we have a splash fight, laughing. Soon, Cici and Angel join in on the splash war until we got tired and just sat on the edge, talking.

"They're so cute together, don't you think?" Sophie said as we watch Cici and Angel laughing.

"Yea. I didn't know Cici could be sort of romantic."

"Me neither. Ooh, where'd you get that necklace?" She pointed to the heart necklace.

"Uh, Blake gave it to me." I looked away from Sophie.

"So first he asks you to help him with a prank and then he gives you a necklace?"

"I know he's strange. But there might be something there. Who knows?"

"Do you have a bobby pin?" Blake asked as I was trying to fall asleep.

"Ugh, why're you asking?" I pulled the covers over my head.

"I want to try something."

They're next to the sink."

He went to the sink and grabbed a bobby pin and walked to the locked closet in our room. He put the bobby pin into the lock and started twisting it around until it clicked. He looked at me and smiled. I got up to see what was inside. There were pillows, blankets, towels, a vacuum, and soap. Not really that interesting. But Blake's eyes lit up. 

"Let's make a pillow fort!" Blake whispered, pulling out the pillows and blankets.

"This is awesome," Blake said as we laid inside our fort. 

"I know. Its real cozy." Blake inched towards me and held me in his warm arms.

"What do you want be be when you grow up, Liz?" He asked.

"Um, I'm thinking a musician."

"That's cool."

"Well what about you? What do you want to be?"

"I don't know yet. Never really saw anything in my future."

"You'll find your calling." He looked at me with his piercing green eyes and his crooked smile. He was so sweet, goofy, and mysterious. He was the first and last thing I thought about every day. I was falling for Blake Moore.
