Andrew's POV

"I have to save her, Andrew... I can't let anything happen to my best friend," Alicia says, frustrated.

"Alicia, I understand your frustration, but please, calm down," I said, trying to ease her distress.

"Don't tell me that... Do you want to know why I distanced myself from you? It's because you pushed me away first. Every time I got close to you, you pushed me away to act cool with your friends," Alicia cried bitterly.

I struggled with whether to comfort her for causing this situation, attack her back, or apologize and maintain our good relationship. I opted for the latter.

"I'm so sorry, Alicia," I apologized. She continued crying, but there was no time to explain as she ignored my apology.

We were nearing the basement when...

*Screams*.

I turned back and shouted, "Alicia!" Before I could react, I fainted, sensing someone had knocked me out.

*Darkness Everywhere*.

Where am I? Where is Alicia? What happened? What happened?!!

"Remove the cloth from his head and wake that sleeping beauty up," I heard a familiar commanding voice say.

The cloth was removed from my head, and the bright light shone into my eyes. I struggled to adjust to the light.

I looked for Alicia and found her beside me on the ground, still asleep. The guy woke her up by kicking her stomach. Argh.

"Hey, be careful with her, you idiot," I protested, trying to protect my sister.

The punches the stranger gave me brought back memories I tried to forget... memories of when I was a slave, enduring the worst punishments.

"You... murderer," Alicia squealed as soon as she woke up.

I looked up and saw Mr. Rudolf, our boss's guard... Why was Alicia calling him a murderer?

"Oh, Alicia, you've grown. I'm sorry for your loss. Your mother was very nice and a strong queen," Mr. Rudolf said with a smirk.

"What's going on here?" I asked, feeling left in the dark.

"Oh, and you, the twin brother of Alicia, the princess. I was the one who sent that message to her about having a nephew and a niece. And also, I killed her because she didn't listen to me, just like your mother, The Shy Lady, didn't listen to the advice I gave her," he explained, leaving me bewildered.

Wait... he killed my mother and my step-aunt. That was the only information I got from what he just said.

"You murderer!" I shouted furiously.

He laughed, but to me, it sounded like a demon's laughter. So he has been lying to me. He lied to me!!

"How dare you kill my mother, and if that wasn't enough, my aunt too!" I seethed.

"Wait, before you condemn me, let me explain who is behind all this. When you were a baby, your mother tried to escape the king's new wife, your stepmother, the Queen's plan. I, known as the King of Slavery and Human Destiny Destroyer, was called by Queen Linda to help kill your mother and take you, Alicia, into slavery or kill you. Queen Linda promised me the throne for my assistance. For seven years, I've been trying to find your mother. You must be wondering why I took it so seriously. Well, Queen Linda promised me the throne, but she doesn't know I plan to kill her too, along with anyone wearing a crown. I will be the only ruler," he declared, his words dripping with malice.

"Why is death everything to you?" Alicia finally asked.

"Humans killed everyone I ever loved, so I swore to kill the people they loved and continue killing if necessary," he smirked, his demeanor repulsive.

"That reminds me... bring her out," he commanded, and to our shock, Nani appeared.

"Nani," Alicia and I exclaimed simultaneously, though our joy was overshadowed by worry.

"If you can't save her, forget about it because she's going to die. Oh, and I'm giving this fake king called Michael one more year to rule," he sneered sarcastically, before leaving us with Nani, who was barely conscious.

"We need to figure out a plan, Ali..." I began, but Alicia had already untied herself and was trying to rescue Nani using ropes she found in the room.

"Alicia, please untie me so I can help you," I suggested, but she ignored me. Girls, argh!

"I can't help you right now. You're safe where you are, so let me help the person who isn't safe," she finally replied after a moment of silence.

Thankfully, I had a knife in my pocket that could cut ropes. But how would I retrieve it? I had the most terrible idea...

*Boom, scri*

"Shhh, stop making too much noise," Alicia said.

Ignoring her, I retrieved the knife from my pocket and cut the ropes binding me. After all my struggling, it didn't go in vain.

I collected the ropes from Alicia, startling her as I did. I tossed the tied rope onto Nani's body and tried to drag her to safety. We needed to act fast; danger was approaching.

"Lord, please help us achieve this goal, just this once," I silently prayed, even though I didn't believe. But neither did Nani nor Alicia know.

As we made our escape, we encountered guards, but thankfully, we managed to evade them and flee into the city. Was this God's plan when I asked for help? Maybe He is real after all.

We ran tirelessly, avoiding obstacles, and finally found ourselves in a tunnel emitting a foul odor. There was no choice but to pass through it.

Emerging outside the Kingdom, we found ourselves among the villagers' houses.

"Why are we running when we should be fighting for the Kingdom?" I questioned Alicia, who continued to ignore me.

"I know a place where we can seek help. Thank God my phone is still working. I need to Google the location of the Crystal Kingdom owned by William Simon," Alicia said, confusing me.

"What does he have to do with anything?" I asked.

"I know him, and my mother told me that anytime I could find him, I should seek his help," Alicia replied, still not giving me a glance.

"Alicia, look, I'm so sorry for what I did," I apologized, waiting for her response. Since it didn't come, I let it go.

"I forgive you, Andrew, and now we can talk like normal twin siblings, protecting one another along with Nani," Alicia said, and I sighed in relief.

"Finally, someone has called my name and given me attention," Nani chimed in, and we all laughed.

"Nani, shhh, you're draining my energy as you talk," I joked.

As we continued our journey, chatting and laughing, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the bond we shared.

Six Months Later

Alicia's POV

After six months of constant movement, we found ourselves at the gate of the Crystal Kingdom. It was November, Nani's birthday month, and tomorrow would be her birthday.

"We're here," I announced, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension.

But our entry was met with resistance.

"Who are you guys?" a guard asked sternly.

"I am Alicia, the daughter of Queen "This is my twin brother and my best friend," I explained, thinking he was going to let us in.

"How dare you claim the identity of our Queen and her daughter," another one out of the four of them said.

*Laughs sarcastically*.

"Just by what she said, you will know she isn't telling the truth at all. First of all, Queen Alina doesn't have two children, and you aren't supposed to be here in disgusting slave clothes without guards. Where is Queen Alina anyway?" the annoying guard explained. I almost slapped the guy, but I had to convince these so-called guards of my identity.

"I am Alina's daughter, and Alina is dead, and this is my brother... yes, I have a brother," I said frustratedly.

"Grab them and take them to the King's dungeon to punish them," one of the guards, I assume, is the head of guards, said with a mean face. MEAN GUY!

I hate these things, but I know what to do. He said King's dungeon, right? There is always a way when God is by your side.

We were in a truck, a prisoners' truck, but sadly for them, they didn't chain us. The guards brought us out, reminding me of that woman who refused to come out from the truck and for that, she was badly beaten.

When we reached the King's palace. Hehehe.

*Paw*

I know you are wondering what happened. Andrew and I knocked them out, hehehe. We quickly ran to the side that looks more palacey, if you know what I mean, if you don't, I mean more royal. We saw a room that said royal clothes, we went inside, inside was WOW! So nice, arranged, and the air conditioner, so much preserved food and drinks. Ah ah. I am drooling. After staying there for hours, wearing and testing clothes but later settled on the best royal clothes. We were eating different types of foods and drinks yummy. I wish we could stay there, but we have a Kingdom to save.

I saw two guards from afar and alerted the others to hide. I remembered a paper that said the King scheduled a 'Special Someone' so I decided to act out some drama with those dumb-dumbs.

"Excuse me, both of you. I am looking for the king's room," I said, drawing their attention.

"Who are you, beauty?" I got angry when one of the stupid guards said that, he was literally trying to flirt with me.

"I am that 'Special Someone' the King asked for, and I am looking for the room of the King. Or is he in his room?" I said with a stern voice that says don't-come-here-people.

"Oh, you are the Special Someone. The king's room is upstairs by the right where guards are surrounded, and he is in his room," the other guard says nicely.

"Thank you so much, I almost thought I lost my way," I said enthusiastically.

I walked away swiftly, but Thank God, the guards have already walked away so I can alert my sibling and my sister-in-law to come out.

"You guys can come out now and follow my lead," I say smiling.

"You are a good actress, you know," my sweet brother says.

"Yeah, I was so surprised when you literally made them believe you," my sweet sister-in-law says. It works right? Hehehe. It is good to test people.

"Thank you," I say happily.

"Your welcome," they said at the same time. Nani turned red and Andrew just smiled. God forgive me, but, awwwww!!

"You guys look cute together," I say obviously teasing them.

"Hey........" Andrew couldn't finish his words because we have almost reached the door so I had to cut him short because we need a plan.

"You guys will be my accomplices, and I will remain the Special Someone," I giggled as I called myself Special.

"Yes ma'am, and can you stop giggling because everyone is special in their own way," Nani says obviously jealous.

"I am just joking, gush." I said almost smiling.

We walked up to the King's room, and as usual, the guards start persecuting you.

"Who are all of you? What are you doing? Why are......." I cut one of the guards short that started persecuting us.

"I am The Special Someone that was scheduled to see the King today." I reply bossy.

"Okay. Come in." The same guard let us in.

We entered the King's room, and it was enormous and so beautiful. I was so excited, I don't know why, maybe it is because I am in the King's room and it is enormous.

"Can I help you?" A man so tall was upstairs talking to us.

I can't wait.......
