*2 and a half months later*

The Buckingham family stood by Kristen's grave stone on her one year anniversary of her passing.

All three of her children had a single white rose in their hands waiting to put them next to her head stone.

Will was the first to step up to her head stone.
"Hi mommy, I miss you. We brought roses for you. You will always be my mom and I hope you don't mind but...Stevie has become a mommy to us. She takes really good care of us!" He bent down then placed the rose he was holding on her head stone. "I love you mom."

He stepped back and Leelee stepped forward.
"Hi mommy! I brought a rose for you too." She placed her rose by Will's and said. "I love you mommy."

Leelee stood up and went to stand by Stevie.
Lindsey took Stella by her tiny hand and led her to the head stone.
She too placed the rose by the others; she then stepped closer and kissed the tiny photo of Kristen that was on the head stone then said. "I wuv you mommy Kwisten!"

Lindsey then pick her up in his arms and placed the dozen white roses he was holding next the ones of his children.
He bent down and stayed silent for a moment, his tears rolling down his cheeks.
"I miss you every single day Kristen. I want you to know that I still love you with all my heart. And you will always have a special place in my heart; I'm so grateful to have had the years we had together and these three beautiful children you gave me." He paused for a moment, then went on. "I know a lot of people frowned upon me for moving on so fast; the thing is, if it wasn't for Stevie...I don't know where I would be or where our children would be. I was so lost Kristen; my heart shattered when I got that phone call. I didn't think I could ever recover.  Then Stevie came back into my life and helped me find my way back again."

Lindsey was sobbing; Stevie carefully stepped forward and kneeled down next him, baby Lyric was cradled in her arms.
She held Lyric in one arm and wrapped the other around Lindsey's shoulder. He leaned into her and sobbed on her shoulder.

After a few moments there was a gentle breeze that blew across all of their faces that wasn't there before.
Leelee stepped closer to Stevie and Lindsey with smile on her face and said. "It's okay daddy. Mommy said it was; she said she's glad we have Stevie to take care of us and we won't grow up without a mommy." She gave Lindsey a hug and continued. "She wants us to be happy daddy."

Lindsey stared at his daughter in amazement; the gentle breeze returned. Lindsey closed his eyes and knew in his heart that Kristen was speaking to them in a way that he didn't completely understand but he could feel it in his heart.
Stevie could feel it too; tears rolling down her cheeks.

The breeze stopped suddenly and all was still around them. In that moment, their hearts that moments ago felt heavy now felt light.
The children were smiling and even baby Lyric smiling as well.

Stevie and Lindsey stood up then looked one final time at Kristen's headstone before turning around to head back to the car.
Will and Leelee kissed their mother's headstone then followed Lindsey and Stevie back to the car.

Once getting the kids buckled in their seats, Stevie and Lindsey got into the car themselves.
Lindsey turned the car on but didn't put it into drive.
He turned towards Stevie and grabbed her hand. Lindsey stared into her eyes and she stared back. "I love you so much Stephanie; you and our children are my whole world."
"I love you too Linds." Stevie said as she got teary eyed.
Lindsey kissed her lips then pulled away and said. "I don't know what the future will bring us but whatever life throws at us, we will get through it together."
Stevie wiped her tears away and said. "Together."

Lindsey kissed her hand before letting it go, then he put the car into drive.
As they were leaving the cemetery, Leelee giggled.
Stevie turned to look at her and chuckled. "What are you giggling about sweet girl?"
Leelee's smile was wide. "Because my mommy Kristen told me a secret and I'm really excited about it!"
Stevie looked at Lindsey who was staring wide eyed. Stevie gulped then turned back to look at Leelee and asked. "And what secret is that?"
Leelee looked right into Stevie's eyes with excited written on her little face and said. "You have my baby brother in your tummy!"
