SELF-DISAPPOINTMENT.

The same aroma of lavender from the car perfume greeted Hye-in's nostrils as soon as she got inside the seat next to the driver's. She crossed her arms under her chest, slightly escaping a heavy sigh—probably the heaviest she ever escaped—as she leaned into the seat then shut her eyes together.

She was exhausted. Packing up clothes and the other crucial stuffs she might or definitely would need at twelve in the morning was totally tiring. That didn't include how much energy had been drained out by lifting and throwing her suitcase as well as herself from the balcony of her room for Taehyung to catch, yet it was a cost worth paying. At least she got to feel the tonne of weighs being lifted up from her shoulders when she successfully sneaked out from her house. At least she was now with Taehyung. Or, at last, she was finally with Taehyung.

After done settling the suitcase inside the hood of the car, the latter got inside the car as well, making her open up her eyes to look at him. Their eyes connected, and it didn't take much time for their hands to be connected as well as Taehyung took hers.

"Are you okay? Are you sure with this?" he questioned.

Hye-in firmly nodded. "I am."

Nod responded with nod, Taehyung finally began to drive off. The road was a little bit quiet, yet not entirely. One and two tiny droplets of water started to hit the front glass of the car as they passed the traffic lights, and then three, four, five, and then countless; it was raining outside. And it made the temperature—at this one in the morning—even colder. Taehyung's hand eventually reached the AC temperature changer, rotating it to the lower level.

As the car stopped again for the red light, he bobbed his head backwards, letting it rested against the head-rest as he took a few seconds to close the eyes. Hye-in turned to look at him doing so, feeling actually guilty to trouble that guy before gently telling him that the light had turned to green. He tiredly sat up properly again to continue driving.

"I found a hotel," he spoke, breaking the silence. "Let's just rest first, can we?"

Hye-in gulped the moment the word 'hotel' slipped off from his mouth. Her head began to be filled with the flickering of nervous thoughts; hotel? Would it be okay? It wouldn't be the same as the typical teen-asking-to-spend-night-at-hotel scene she watched from the television right? Were her parents actually right? That Taehyung had a bad intention towards her? Was she falling into the actual trip now? Was that the biggest plot twist in her life storybook?

Not getting any response from the girl, Taehyung turned his head to look at her.

"Sweetie?"

Hye-in nervously wetted her bottom lip. "Y-yes."

Taehyung nodded and the car turned to the left, heading towards the area of the luxury hotel building then stopping to park the car. They both got out, the latter making sure to lock his car, before they made their way into the building.

Hye-in didn't follow Taehyung to deal with the female staff who was standing behind the counter. She just watched as he took out an amount of fresh bills, handing them to the lady and got the room key-card as return. With that being gotten, Taehyung returned to get her.

"142, let's go," he said, grasping the girl's cold hand as he led the way.

Hye-in looked up at him. "Um, Tae?"

"Yes?"

"Did you get us only one room?" she slowly asked.

"Ah, yes, I'm sorry for not asking you. Did you want separate rooms?"

She silently gulped. "It's okay."

They made it to their room. Taehyung placed the card on the digital door lock, making the blue light appeared near the screen as the approval and the door automatically unlocked. He then pushed it opened, adapting the 'ladies first' concept as he let Hye-in went in first then closed the door back. He took out his shoes and as well as his socks before going straight to jump onto the comfy bed.

Hye-in, on the other side, wasn't as tempted as him to lie down on that king-sized bed. She just silently stood there at the same spot until he noticed that she wasn't following.

He patted the bed, gesturing her to come over and join him. "Come sleep."

Hye-in didn't know what to do. She noticed the presence of the couch in front of the television yet there was no way she was going to sleep there. And she knew Taehyung wouldn't let her sleep there. After reassuring herself that nothing was going to happen besides the slot of comfy sleep with Taehyung, the girl finally took off her sandals and went to slowly get on the bed.

Taehyung, who was already lying, pushed her shoulders gently so that she was lying as well. Her body was completely tensed as her back hit the mattress; never had she ever been with a guy alone in the same room, let alone lain this close on the same bed. She held her breath as the guy, without any warning, wrapped his arm around her stomach.

"I never thought of sleeping with you before marriage, so I consider this as my luckiest luck," he spoke, and his words made her pretty surprised.

Taehyung smiled. He scooted a little bit more closer, resting his left cheek on her shoulder as he found comfort in her warmth. "Goodnight, sweetie."

"G-goodnight, Tae."

Seeing that pair of eyes closed, Hye-in silently escaped a relief sigh. Her nostrils were filled with the only scent of Taehyung's shampoo. That guy didn't make any other movement after he wished his goodnight. It made her assume he had already fallen asleep, and that made her begin to throw herself a bunch of questions again. Should she just shrug it off and join him sleep too? What if he just pretended to sleep? What if right after she closed her eyes, he would start his mission; to start attacking her? What if her strength would be nothing to be compared with his? What if it would be too late?

She decided to wait for a few more minutes to see if he would make any movement. As the time went by, her eyelids grew heavier and heavier which ended her up fallen asleep as well, yet she was awakened again due to the sudden movement from Taehyung. Her scared-mode had been activated again, her heartbeat rate slightly increased, thinking if she had missed something.

She slowly looked down to the guy who might be truly sleeping or just pretending. He moved again, with his eyes still closed, now snuggling completely into her. His cheek was still rested on her shoulder but the difference was that this time, his face was lifted up a bit, making her able to see his entire features. He looked comfortable. He looked adorable; just like a baby searching for his mother's warmth, comfort and love in the midst of his sleep in this rainy night. Her eyes trailed down from each part of his face, and the longer she did, the weaker her doubt became of him, the softer her eyes turned.

Hye-in sighed. She had been doubtful of him for obliviously nothing. She felt disappointed, not because of him but because of herself. She just had an uncertainty within herself, and had even assumed bad things towards him which meant she didn't trust him entirely, still. It made her feel very disappoint. How could she accuse him having bad intention towards her? How could she feel doubtful of him? How could she not trust him to the fullest still? How could she when she said she loved him? How could she?

That guy just wanted nothing but a good rest and a comfy sleep. Didn't she remember she had troubled him at twelve in the morning just for proceeding her plan to run away? Gosh, Taehyung was indeed a sweet guy.

Trying to prevent a sob from being escaped, Hye-in bit her bottom lip. Her eyes became a little watery, still having the disappointment of herself within her because of her childish quick assuming habit. She slowly moved down as her hands came out to pull the peacefully sleeping guy into her embrace, which made him accidentally awaken up.

"Oh? Sweetie?" he asked. His voice glowed out exhaustion.

"Shh." She guided his head to rest on her shoulder again, gently gestured him to go back to sleep. "Nothing, Tae. Let's continue sleep."
