'Wanted' | chaesoo
jisoo skipped steps towards the door next her, with an adorable smile on her face. reaching at the door, she pressed the bell and waited for the response. not too long when a tall-white lady opened the door, "hey~" she greeted.
"hi~ you ready to go?" jisoo asked with excitement greased all over her body. "yeah, just hold for a sec' "
rosie bought the apartment next to jisoo's two days ago. despite the short period of time, jisoo and her grew a really good friendship. rosie was a generous female in her 20s, she didn't had a lot of stuff which was completely usual as she just shifted right away.
today, she planned to go out and explore city for rosie. and here she was at rosie's door waiting for her.
"kaja"
-
"you never told me where you lived before?" jisoo joked between their chat.
"oh, we just met" rosie laughed.
"are you a foreigner?"
"uhm..yeah? i wasn't born in this continent. but hey! i'hv the citizenship of here now" rosie answered. "very well. 'cause your accent y'know..i also have a friend belonging to new zealand,"
"..and also from thailand." jisoo mentioned. "your fate must has something with your friends being or lived in foreign then"
"uh yes"
the convo went on and on, and they stopped by a small super-mart as asked by rosie. "i'll be back," said rosie as she unbuckled her seat-belt and opened the door proceeding towards the store.
watching her leave all in a hurry, jisoo questioned with her body concerned, "you want something?"
but to her reply rosie looked back with a slight smile making jisoo confused. something was off with that smile, she couldn't process but she remained in her seat waiting for her to come back.
ten minutes passed...,
fifteen minutes...,
it was about an hour to get over when jisoo thought it was enough of waiting and she should actually go check on rosie. she unbuckled her seat-belt, got out of the car and started walking towards the mart she saw rosie going into.
"rosie...?"
"where are you, rosie?!" she slightly raised her voice because to her surprise, the mart was closed. she looked around and asked for her name at my places around but she got no signs of her.
"where are you?" she breathed out and sat on an green-painted-iron bench at the corner of the street. either of things might had happened, she is kidnapped or she lost her way in the city.
jisoo kept roaming her eyes on the streets, inspecting peoples when she slowly started feeling odd. she recalled how rosie smiled back to her, that was unusual. just as when she stood up her phone rang.
"lisa?"
"eonnie? where are you?"
"..uh..i'm outside for a while"
"then why is your main-door open?"
"..what?" jisoo squinted her eyes.
"i just arrived at your apartment and the door's open. if you aren't here then how..?"
jisoo quickly ended the call and stepped in her car, buckled her seat-belts and rove back quickly to her apartment. she hesitantly walked inside the complex and saw lisa standing in front of her already opened door.
"lord! how?" she walked inside her apartment with lisa following her. afraid of robbery, she, without wasting much more of the time, went to check her precious belongings.
she opened the locker and gasped softly. lines making up on her forehead.
"is it alright?" lisa enquired. "...it's gone..all of it"
something clicked her mind and that's when she ran towards her window exposed to the bulletin down the streets pushing lisa aside.
the board had a 'missing' poster of a lady. she took out her phone and zoomed in on the picture through her camera.
