"and lisa! you better have a good explanation tomorrow" jen spoke in a stern voice.

next morning went fast. everyone had their breakfast silently. a forced conversation here and there regarding food and school, and then each of them departed to their own destinations.

"now i regret doing that," rosie mumbled. she and lisa, both were sharing seats in the last column of the row. "why would you say tha- okay maybe, but you were dared to do that, right? it didn't came to your mind yourself" voiced lisa consoling her elder sister.

"eomma and eemo, both are disappointed in me"

"bro, look at me!" lisa demanded.

"see this the hottest human here?" she said pointing to herself, "she freaking lied to them saying you went to poop and i don't think anyone poops for half an hour straight without creating a single noise in the toilet"

rosie looked back at her with a 'wtf' look. "that's how you covered up for me?". lisa nodded.

chae flicked her forehead making lisa let out a squeal.

"but what do we do now?"

"guess just tell them everything"

"i hope they won't scold us"

"don't know 'bout them but i'm sure 'bout myself". they both looked up shocked to see their room-teacher standing beside their seat. "i would appreciate your attention to me for this hour", she continued with a forced smile.

"ladies these days" lisa whispered after their teacher went to the front, making everyone around their desk wheeze. the teacher looked back at her with a 'i know it's you' look and sighed frustratingly.

"yo shut up, we already are in trouble. stop creating more"

silence.

a simple seven-letter word but creates tension XL to it's size.

"i don't want to waste much of my time. speak up"

"patient"

"unnie! you are giving them a lot of comfort. they are getting spoiled"

"kim jennie! patient."

jennie huffed and sat quietly glaring the two young teens in front of her. she has a reason to get this angry. first, she is straightforward; mother or not, everyone has their point of limit, it's just a bit less for her. second, she doesn't wants her kids to get spoiled or be doing anything wrong in any way. she believes in talking it out right away, but sometimes she forgets that her stern-straightforwardness might create an invisible distance between the kids and parents.

while on the other hand, jisoo being the eldest in the household. she knows, she has to keep up with everyone. she knows why jennie is mad, she knows why the kids aren't comfortable to share them up right away.

"chaeyoung~ah, did someone asked you to do it?"

she nodded her head in a reply.

"who?", questioned jennie.

"kyujin! it was kyujin! i have been trying to tell you 'bout her but y'all don't liste- okay.."

lisa was kept quiet after having the eyes of both the elder kim-s on her. "a bit lost in the flow y'know..".

"kyujin dared me to sneak out saying if i can't do it then i deserved to be called coward for my whole life.."

"how dare she?! she probably didn't had guts to speak that to you if i was there"

"lisa?", jisoo spoke up while standing, "you really need to work on your mouth"

she walked towards chae making jen stand up, ready to  make any quick reflex.

jisoo raised her hands and slapped her.

just kidding lol

jisoo raised her hands and wrapped them around chae, engulfing her fully in a hug. 

"you are so tough baby. you don't need to do anything to prove yourself, i know you very well, i know my kids are the best. you believe me right?" chae nodded. "coward my boss. tell me did kyujin ever went up on stage? did she ever faced a huge number of audience like my baby avocado does? hmm?"

"mommyyy!! not the avocado!!" chaeyoung whined. jisoo smiled. it was the first time since last night that chae smiled like that.

"okay then, i'm leaving"

"no no no no!" rosie stuck to her mother's body like a koala and mumbled a sorry again. jisoo caressed her hair and said, "just don't do it again, you made us worried", she looked back at jennie and motioned her to join the hug.

"y'know what your dear eemo said yesterday? that we should stop all of your junk foods and make you both join a home-tution, so that she could act like she has gotten strict. but y'know who is the cutest baby in this house?"

"unnie!! not in front of kids"

"guess i ain't born yet"

"yah lalisa" jen voiced running after her catching her in her arms.

soon the house was filled with laughter. some running here and some voicing over lisa's lame excuse to save chae.

at the end, it was a happy ending.

hope you are a satisfied with the ending. i thought of making it sentimental but it won't suit out jenchulichaeng i guess.
