chae was dared to do something out of her field. field in the sense, she was dared to do something that she hadn't ever thought of once about doing. but it was her teen years which kind of added the so-called 'peer pressure' on her.

her classmates forced her to think that she can't always be good. breaking rules is a part of life and they are meant to be broken. so, this time, she decided to finally step over the line and sneak out in the middle of night after the dinner when everyone's sleeping.

she wanted to build that bold image alike of her sister, lisa.

between all this, she didn't realized that lisa never did something which would disappoint their parents. sure, most of the times she preferred violence and did things the wrong way but it always had a reason or sometimes it was for just a mere fun.

but the so-called pressure already had done the damage to her mind.

it was 10 pm, everyone was done with dinner and were doing the night routines to finally  get back to bed. lisa was showering after chae was done.

chae opened her closet and surfed around looking for wearing something presentable. lisa was still unknown to this plan, so, chae still needed to inform her about the same.

the door of the shared bathroom finally opened revealing a young female dressed in black set of  pyjamas with white-sheep print.

"lisa~yah!! can you do me favor?" chae tiptoe-d towards her and placed her both hands on the either shoulders of lisa.

"what?"

"can you cover up for me?"

lisa stopped checking her ownself out in the mirror and stared at chae through the reflection, "why?"

"..y'know, kyujin dared me to sneak out to her place..but i'll be back till five o'clock in the morning, i promise" chae pleaded as she felt lisa's eyes on her which showed a cold emotion.

"please?"

"on one condition"

"what?"

"bring me with you." and by that lisa walked away. "what? no! yah lisayah!" chae whined skipping after lisa, pleading again to somehow get her in her favour.

"it is what it is"

"i'll do your all assignments of this week" chae threw an offer hoping she would agree on this.

lisa sat on the edge of the bed and looked back at her sister's face after checking her nails, "agent lisa will do it". chae smiled and went inside the bathroom to do her hair leaving lisa, standing in a straight posture with her slowly going to clap her hands, going to murder a small peculiar creature, mosquito.

chae slowly opened the main door and escaped towards the next street where kyujin lived. it was pretty dark with a couple of street-lights at a distance. she looked around the place as she was walking. there were bits of garbage gathered along the walls of streets, a stray cat sleeping on the wall, most of the house had their lights closed except for a few.

she took a turn towards the next street, and started to look out for kyujin's house. she sometimes had seen her house but never really went there.

she took out her phone and dialed for kyujin. "pick up, pick up!", she said as she looked around the place which was not-so-familiar with her. "pick up, kyujin!!" she kept on dialing her classmate's number but she never picked it up. now, she was left with only one option; going back.

chae was standing in front of her house and she was sweating. she could see the lights of her house on and it wasn't a pleasing sight. she prayed to god for the last time, hoping not to get scolded or somehow escape the situation and sighed.

"i believe in you agent lisa"

she pulled the door and was greeted with a familiar face but the expression looked foreign. jennie was waiting near the small hallway which leaded to their drawing-room. chae looked down and closed the door, removing her shoes further.

jisoo's POV

i guessed chaeyoung's back when i heard the door open. i'm disappointed. how can she think of doing such thing?! it's dangerous to walk outside alone during nights. i never expected this from her.

i saw jennie coming towards me with a straight face. she ain't her mother by blood but she does takes care of her like one. her expressions were not pleasing at all.

chae walked inside with small steps looking down and stopped at a distance. i know she won't look in anyone's eyes.

"sorry.."

she mumbled. i just looked away. is a small sorry okay for apologizing of sneaking out?

"why did you went out?-"

"sneaked out"

i sighed and looked back at jennie, who just cut me off. "hmm?"

"it's kyujin's fault-"

"lisa! chaeyoung is supposed to answer" i couldn't help but slightly yell at her. i saw chae trembling. tears were pooling in her eyes. she is a soft girl, she doesn't likes to disappoint anyone. my heart was aching more than her. i know how she is feeling.

she sniffed.

the atmosphere was all silent except for chaeyoung's sniffing and small whimpers.

"look at me" i demanded.

"you did wrong, didn't you?"

she nodded.

"words!"

"..y-yes"

"you're gonna do it again?"

"no"

"fine then, go to bed, you both have school tomorrow" i said standing up. i just didn't wanted to scold her. i haven't heard her part.

"and lisa! you better have a good explanation tomorrow" jen spoke in a stern voice.
