jennie was in kitchen cooking pancakes, investing her whole concentration on the pancake that she is going to flip over. she placed the spatula under the half-cooked-soon-to-be-pancake and flipped it over, only to find a part of it's circumference leaning over the railings of the pan. she sighed in frustration.

"arghh"

"what happened mommy?"

"ah lisayah~ my baby woke up? hmm?" she asked the little girl in her panda like pyjamas. "mmmh" lisa replied. "mommy's making pancakes, wanna have a look?" jennie asked, placing lisa on the counter at a safe distance from the stove.

"chaeyoung still sleeping?" jennie asked jisoo, as she saw her cleaning the room.

"uh-huh she didn't woke up? lemme check"

"chaeyoungah~ get up, you know even lisa is awake" said jisoo slightly shaking chaeyoung's body.

chaeyoung squirmed at a place but didn't woke up. "ok then, here comes the avocado" jisoo said making the little girl in cute pink onesie sit straight the very instance. "come on let's get you fresh" jisoo held her thin body and took her to the bathroom for a 'morning routine'.

"no!" chae placed her small arms in front of her chest and made a pout. "call lisa and then i'll bath" she said still with a cute pout on her lips. "ok ok, just wait here okay?" jisoo replied while placing chae in the bathtub.

"jendu! jendu! jendukie! gimme lisa imma make her bath~" jisoo danced over to the kitchen and saw pancakes of different sizes piled up in a plate.

"eonnie, they look so puffy yeah?"

"woah, i really want to eat them but let me take lisa for bath first. chaeyoung ain't getting ready to bath unless lisa does" jisoo ranted how little chae was throwing tantrums.

jennie chuckled and nodded her head smiling.

"c'mon lisa!"

jennie placed lisa on the floor and the very moment lisa hit the floor, she ran straight away to chae.

" 'm here chae!" lisa exclaimed as she climbed herself inside the bathtub, sitting next to chae.

" u don' brus'?" chae said backing away from her.

lisa smirked and opened her mouth saying, "no! smel' my breat' " lisa started moving closer to chae with her mouth open making chae nearly cry.

"lalisa! stop there!" jisoo shouted as she entered the bathroom. she patted chae's cheek and said, "you should not tease your sister like that. you want to be a bad girl?"

"yes!"

jisoo glared the little girl who was now smiling mischievously.

"you are now forcing me to complain to your teacher. do you want me to do that?" she asked while making chae and her get ready to bath.

"no" lisa replied in a low tone.

"so now what you have say?" jisoo asked while glancing at lisa as now she was making sure that the temperature of the water was moderate enough.

"sorry.. 'm sorry to you to chae" lisa suddenly cupped chae's cheeks.

"it's ohke' "

"good now it's time to bath" jisoo placed some toys and soap in the water, starting to bath them.

"lisa," jennie called her sternly, "sit here. this very instance". lisa quickly sat down on her chair ready to eat have her breakfast.

"nini eemo, can we go to the park t'day?" chae asked jennie avoiding jisoo's eyes.

there was this tradition in this household that whenever chae wanted anything, she went to jennie to ask for it and same for lisa. she always went to jisoo to ask for her wishes.

jennie and jisoo both love the two kids with their hearts. chae is jisoo's daughter while jennie is lisa's mother. they both have their own stories of how they became a single-parent. they went through hardships alone with their children with no one to ask help for. this was until they both met at a park when they brought their kids to play.

long story short, they both moved in together with their kids and now they are a happy family, supporting each other physically, mentally and economically.

"ofcourse honey, i too was thinking 'bout that" jennie replied while feeding lisa.

"oh oh an' we wil' buy ice c'eam too" lisa exclaimed swinging her legs.

"lisa! we will not play with tha' kid today okhe'?" chae told while chewing on her food.

"yeah oke- mommy that" lisa cut-offed herself and point at maple syrup. jisoo smiled and handed over the bottle to jennie.

"now first lets finish our food, then we will visit park" she said stuffing lisa's mouth with a bite.

" an' ice cr3am too!!!" chae pointed her spoon towards jennie while slightly shouting. "yeah yeah"

the two elders laughed here and there listening to their kids talking about various things and thats how their moring went.
