it was a peaceful normal morning for all the members of the family. jennie was busy preparing for breakfast. since kai, kuma and dalgom has joined the family, it has become more loud than before. the old woman in the dorm was changing the sides on the bed, probably wanted to wake up but can't since she's on lack of energy to do so.

the kids?

rosie woke up feeling the emptiness of blanket. she looked beside only to see lisa covered in blanket like a burrito. Aish, she huffed. she looked at the clock and without a second thought she snatched the blanket away from lisa making her groan.

"Give it back!" she whispered yelled at her not being able to shout 'cause of sleepiness.

"No~ I won't" rosie replied with a teasing smile though lisa wouldn't be able to see that.

she just groaned in response, excellently knowing rosie is trying to tease her. she left her to be like that 'cause after some time she would return it anyways.

 chaeyoungah can't go on like that for much.

and indeed this was the truth. rosie tucked her back in blanket out of annoyance. oh! how she loves annoying her sister. guess, it's just not a good start today.

"rosie? wake everyone up untill I set up the table" said jennie while lifting four simple white plates in a hand and a bottle of honey syrup in other, which seemed for pancakes.

after a struggle of good fifteen minutes, jisoo managed to get at the dining table except for the young lady in the household. "lisaayah~ head here fast!! I'm hungryy" said the second youngest while roaming her eyes all over the table.

"i'll be there in a few minutes! y'all start the food!!" shouted the youngest from her room making whispers leave jisoo's lips, "no..not again.."

lisa wasn't paying any attention on the basic things properly hereby days. her sleeping time wasn't fix, she was locking herself in her studio for long hours without a break, wasn't eating food properly and when asked about it, she replied that she is on diet. in short, she was torturing her ownself herself. her nature was changing. there were no sign of her happy broad smile. she was 'pretending' to be her goofy one.

this was getting off tracks nowadays, as she wasn't listening to anyone. whatever the members said or asked her to do, she was being a total brat to it. last night, jisoo dragged her out of her studio and made her sleep on time. they still weren't sure if she'll take proper rest and that's how chae ended up having a sleepover in her bed.

"this is not okay.." said blondie with unreadable expression on her face while taking a bite of pancake.

"excuse me! i woke up early and cooked this with so much love! jen said faking her anger as usual to make others laugh. she too was annoyed with lisa's changing behaviour but decided to let her have her own space for some time. "ah noo! i meant lalisa's not okay. the food is great as always, no doubt." rosie replied clearly.

"i just hope she ain't taking too much stress" jennie rose his concern. chaeyoung stood up to grab the honey syrup from the other side of the table and yelled, "lisa-ah~ your 'a few minutes' are over already! come fast!!".

 no reply.

"did she shared anything to anyone of you lately?" jennie questioned. eyeing jisoo and rosie.

as a matter of fact, everything one can't share with their mother, shares with someone close to their age. sometimes, telling your problems to someone of your age make sit easier to make them understand. that someone was chae to lisa.

while, jisoo was like her way out of everything. everything lisa wants to be done under the shadow of jen was done by jisoo. the times are laughable. but since last month, the things had been changed. every positive effort from lisa seemed fake. it was like, she was trying to hide something behind that smile and that didn't went unnoticed by the trio.

lisa didn't came to have her breakfast so chaeyoung ended up taking her food to her room. when asked about why she didnt came to eat, she replied that she was in bathroom and probably that's why didnt heard her second call.

the whole day went by with an irritating lisa. others members didn't let her leave the house as she was given a week's holiday from the work. *yge be giving the proper treatment to their artists in my stories* if not studio then she locked herself in her room, not talking to anyone, and if she did, tantrums.

the members were having the peak of it but they didn't wanted to lash out. they did knew she was going through some rough time but that didn't allowed her to act that way. jisoo cooked her food and chae offered to binge watch dramas with her, but she refused them all. jennie herself knocked on her door every 10 seconds for 5 minutes straight asking her to share whatever's budging her.

it was around 7pm whenlisa finally decided to get out of her room with a long coat, a matching handbag and a mask, ready to leave for somewhere. she reached the door somehow without getting into someone's catch. this was until she held the knob of the door and someone grabbed her arm from behind.

"you can't leave, you know that" the words came out in monotone from the eldest female of the household. usually, she never spoke in that tone to her but she had enough of the tantrums, plus, she couldn't see her other members getting knocked with harsh words.

"i'm not a child to listen your words everytime" lisa snorted without looking back at her while trying to get out of the grip on her arm. "is that how you talk?" jisoo questioned her, not caring about her grip. she was trying her best to keep her cool and make her understand that whatever is happening is not okay. afterall, mistakes are done by humans, and there is nothing wrong in correcting them. she is the youngest and might is naive but that doesn't means she can do anything she wants. listening to your elders is always something same for everyone.

"like i said, i'm not a child to listen your words everytime. so, leave my hand now" she too replied in monotone. not being able to understand why is everyone behaving that way to her.

"you don't want me to lash out on you, do you?" she asked her again, trying to remind her the consequences of being a brat.

 "you know what?! i don't even care! i really don't get why people want me to behave the way they want! i'm a grown up human and i'll decide what i have to do or not! got it?!". wrong move, wrong move says god. she shouldn't have done that. but we can't blame her right? i mean, we don't know what she's going through.

"kim lalisa! receed back this instant! i won't repeat myself"  jennie raised her voice from behind jisoo while the eldest member slowly left her arm, her eyes still not leaving the maknae. the loud voice of the three had already made the concerned rosie stand close to the doorway.

lisa's reflexes quickly made her head turn towards her mom. at very instant she called her full name. she got back into her senses and an immediate rush of guilt took over her. just after making an eye contact with jennie, she looked back to jisoo with guilty eyes only to see her expressionless and then looked down at her feet. "come back inside! heard that?" she shouted again and lisa quickly made her way back to the living room quietly with her eyes running on the floor.

rosie was sad and upset. she looked at lisa walking inside her room with jennie following her. she turned to see her mom, jisoo quickly wiped the tears and looked back at her.

lisa rested her body uncomfortably on the corner of her bed laying her back on the wall, hands resting on her knees and fingers fiddling together. jennie sat there with her arms crossed on one of the office chair that was next to her desk. silence filling up the room.

on the other side of the door, chaesoo sat on the couch impatiently. rosie was hugging jisoo in a comfronting manner, while jisoo dropped her shoulders, slouching, expecting for everything to turn back to normal. to become all as happy as before.

"why don't you glare me now like you did to jisoo eonnie?" ruby jane straightaway taunted her.

lisa sat their quietly. eyes low, filled with light tears, regretting everything she did and said. and there was jennie, looking at her sternly. she was disappointed on how she behaved with the eldest, how she has been carrying a bratty posture, why is she not open about her feelings..as a mother, she felt disappointed.

"lost all your maturity?" she lifted her eyes for a second only to see a pair of stern eyes looking at her. i would be lying if i said she wasn't scared. "..sorry.." she replied in a low tone.

 "sorry? sorry for what?" her voice was too stern, like she was trying to stay calm but she can't. "..sorry for talking back like that.." she sat straight on this statement but still keeping her eyes down. "that's it?" this made lisa look up for a second out of confusion.

"and for everything I did since last month..I'm sorry" she continued. after this, she couldn't help but let the tears fill up her eyes, still managing to stop them from falling. even after this, a part of her still wanted to show that she is strong. but she wasn't. once again, the silence filled up the walls.

the house was quite. chaesoo were sitting in the living room, quietly listening to the conversation inside the room. jisoo was mad about it but they altogether hoped jennie won't hurt at her.

"you know what? i'm so disappointed in you. i never expected you to behave like that. i was trying to ignore your doings but seems like you don't deserve that" jen blurted out in clear annoyance which didn't helped lisa at all. at this moment, she let her tears fall. she started sobbing, guilt showering itself all over her. how much jennie and the members outside wanted to go to her and give her the tightest hug but they kept themselves back. after a good five minutes, she calmed down and started to speak.

"i'm so sorry, i extremely am ..i didn't meant anything i did or said since last month. everything I did was just because... was because..I was too much stressed..." she stopped talking for some second and then continued further, "...everyone out there want me to change..some don't like the way i talk..the way i laugh is too much attention seeking...working as a soloist, i don't deserve it they say...people hate my face..they think my dancing is overrated.. i was so lost in these thoughts that i thought everyone around me hates me and is controlling me...and that's why i went off limits..i'm really sorry.." she looked up to meet jennie's eye full of concern.

"i'm really very sorry eomma, just dont hate me!" a cough added itself after this statement of hers. that's it, jen stood up and went to her to finally giving her the tighest and the warmest hug.

"let it out, don't worry, i'm here" she confronted her slowly patting her back with a hand and caressing her head with another. "no one hates you. you always give the best of you. i appreaciate you, your eemo, your sister, your friends, we all love you" she made her look up, "you have lillies [fandom] on your side, why care about others? hmm?"

the duo outside was too sad. sad to know that she again took the words of those haters seriously and let them affect her life.

"i'm really very sorry eomma, i didnt meant to disappoint any of you, it's just i couldn't control myself" she managed to apologize again between her sobs. "hey! it's okay, i'm sorry too! now stop crying" she really felt bad for the poor soul. she tried her best as a mother to confront her. "no need to worry about me, i'm always by you, okay? but now go and make up with jisoo eonnie and rosie. they are really upset."

lisa knocked at jisoo's door and asked if she could come in. a faint 'hm' was heard from inside. this showed that she was really hurt 'cause of the youngest not because her ego was hurt in any way but because she never expected her to talk back like that. she has raised her since she they started to live together. there were no days, when she looked at her any less than her own daughter. lisa grew up in front of her and her behaving like that hurted jisoo a lot. she loves her alot, always pampers her and even talks on her behalf when she get in some trouble though she is wrong and that's why it hurted her more.

lisa entered the room quietly, not making any noise, finding jisoo playing on her phone acting like its just a normal day. she stood there, near the door for a few seconds when the elder asked her to sit. she, showing that she was guilty, sat down on the floor, not minding its winter season. the only thing she wanted was forgiveness.

"i'm sorry.." she spoke in a tiny voice to which jichu replied with a short 'hm'. she looked up to her from between her bangs and pleaded, "eemo~ please, i'm really sorry..i really am", again a 'hm' was a thing she got as a reply. she couldn't help but cry. she told her everything she went through since last few days and apologized thousands of time during that. though jisoo sat their all calm and still with a posture of 'idgas', she melted on her.

"it's okay.." she said smiling faintly. "i still love you and would never hate you. you are perfect in every way. don't let those brats hurt you, okay? and for the apology..i'll accept it once you finish all the food made for you today" jisoo said with a smile, to which she too replied with a warm smile, tears still gleaming in her eyes.

to let you know, everything got normal. lisa prepared a small handmade apology for all the members and everyone appreciated that. she pledged that further in future she will never take the hate seriously and will share it with her 'beautiful family'

once again, the goofiness was back in the house. jennie and jisoo flirting, lisa hiding away kuma and chae being able to tease lisa more often. the week ended and she got a message,

"yg has organized a meeting for your upcoming comeback, schedule is attached"
