January 2nd
Today we all moved into a dorm together. We all stood there in front of the couch a small tv ahead of us and our manager blocking most of it.

  "I'll let you guys decide who's in what room, there's three rooms, I'll check up on you guys in two hours" our manager told us and he left us there.

  "Okay as the leader I'll pick" Hoon said as he moved into the spot our manager was standing and some of the members sighed.

  "We haven't even announced our debut yet, we have no leader" Taebin said and he pushed past Hoon to go over to the rooms but then Hoon grabbed his arm tightly.

  "I get it but I'll be the leader and I want to help out as much as I can, get used to it, give the burden to me" and with that Taebin stepped back into our line.

  "This is only for now, later on we can switch rooms if it's really that bad" Hoon started out then looked at all of us, I kept playing with my hands nervously that I wouldn't get into the same room as Mike, not like it would matter we'd still be in the same dorm but he's the only real friend I have here.

  "There's three rooms, eight of us, there will be two rooms of three and one room of two, Taebin, Jaehyun and Jaejoon you will all be in a room" Hoon said and he led them to their room, he came back to us and looked at all of us

  "Don't worry all rooms are exactly the same in the inside" he said with a slight smile mostly at me.

I thought at this moment this is it, me and mike have to be in a room together there's no way I'm going to room with the leader, assuming he takes the room for two.

  "Mike, Minki, and Jungshin, you are the other room of three, Haneul you're with me" my heart sank, I couldn't look anyone in the eyes, I thought Hoon hated me? Why would I room with him did he have a change of heart? Did he never hate me?

We all followed Hoon and he motioned to a room on one side of the hall for the three of them to go into. The room next to them still had the door open where you could see two beds and Taebin stating he wanted to sleep alone and he'd sleep on the floor if he didn't get to.

  "Fine then sleep on the dirty floor honestly who cares" the unnatural blonde stated and with that I followed Hoon into our room, he put his duffle bag on the bed close to the wall meaning mine is the one close to the door.

  "Why did you pick me?" I broke the silence, Hoon looked up from his stuff and looked at the door giving me the hint to close it so I did and he looked back to his bag.

  "You're the youngest member, I wasn't going to put you with those. Those. Knuckleheads, can I swear in front of you?" He asked and I nodded

  "Honestly some of them can be assholes trust me" he restated and I didn't question him but maybe I should have.

  "You're eyes are-" I started

  "They are real. I got them from my mother, I bet they will give me colored contacts to wear before debut" he said shaking his head

  "But why? They are beautiful" I stated and he smiled a quick smile.

  "They look 'unnatural' like Jaehyun's hair" 

"other idols wear weird colored contacts" I stated and Jaehyun smiled

"they might not want the public to know my natural eyes are blue, but guess we will find out"

After that was said we both went back to unpacking and putting our stuff in this white drawer there was piece of cardboard splitting the sides that would be mine and what would be Hoon's.

After we finished unpacking I left the room to meet up with the other members who were all crushed on the long couch not speaking to each other. With no space for me I just sat on the floor in which Mike got up from the couch and sat next to me.

  "It's been two hours" Taebin said as Hoon walked into the room before anyone could say anything the slight noise of the door being unlocked makes us all sit up as our Manager walked in right on time and we all followed him and crowded into the van to go to our first photoshoot where we were going to take our debut photos.

When we got to the photo shoot they were playing songs from famous groups making me feel like We'd never be as good as they are so I blocked out the music.

Because I'm the maknae they didn't put too much makeup on me, they said they wanted me to be more cute and natural than sexy.

They had me wearing a baby pink t shirt and some light blue jeans and hold some manga I've never heard of in my life. I looked through it between photos and found out it was a love story where this girl professes her love but the guy thinks she means something else and that she didn't love him but his work since he was an artist.

Plot twist I think.

they had Taebin wear ripped jeans and a black shirt and you could tell they put eyeliner on him, too much, I almost laughed but I held it in.

The other members all had similar outfits some like Minki, had pastel shirts like me. Others dark like Taebin but no one had as much eyeliner like he did.

When I saw Mike later that day I almost coughed up the water our manager passed to me, they bleached Mike's hair and made it silver, it looks good on him I just wasn't ready for it. He kept a straight face on before going to take his pictures. Once the camera was on he started smiling and smirking creating a personality for himself, I couldn't look.

I tried figuring out our concept before they told us what it was and all I got was some of us were cute and pastel while others were dark and edgy but that's not really a concept, is it?

I was later told it was a concept in which some of us seem grown up but really we are still childish.

I'm okay with it, if I get to keep the manga.

They didn't give it to me but I asked, who knows maybe after we debut they will send it to me.
