Chapter 4

I looked out the window as we drove closer to the airport. We've been in the limo for a few hours, with nothing to do. The boys were all asleep, except for Iori, who was looking out the window as we drove along. I turned to Kim seeing her leaning on me, sleeping like a baby. I smiled as I looked down at her, then out the window. I sighed as I heard shifting near the front of the limo. "Are we the only two that aren't tired?" Iori asked as turned to him. I looked around, seeing everyone sleeping. "It looks like it to me" I said, as I saw that we were getting closer to the airport. I sighed as I looked ahead, seeing Mitsuki leaning on Nagi, both sleeping silently. I looked up in front of the limo seeing the rest of the guys sleeping. Tamaki and Sougo were sleeping on the right as they leaned up against each other. I turned to the left of me, seeing Riku and Yamato sleeping in the corner, both with their arms crossed and heads down. I sighed as I looked out the window. "Did you guys have a late night?" I asked as Iori sighed. "A little bit. We had to make room for your luggage with ours. We travel with a lot of equipment" he said, as I nodded. I looked out the window again, as I thought of my family. I thought of how they were taking it and that I didn't get to see my brothers before I left. I looked back down as I sighed, trying not to think about it. I pulled out my phone as I pulled up the messages. I made one to each of my brothers, saying goodbye and apologizing that I couldn't see them before I left. I flipped my phone cover over as I sighed. "At least that'll work" I said, as Iori sighed. "What are you talking about?" he asked as I looked at him. I sighed as I spoke. "I wanted to say bye to my brothers, but they weren't home when I left. So I gave them a text" I said, as I turned to the trees outside. I sighed again. "I know it's not much, but it's something" I said, as I cupped my hands together around my phone. I felt Iori staring at me. "Are you close to your brothers?" he asked as I nodded. "Yeah. Their a little annoying, but I get along with them. I didn't think of leaving like this. I wanted to go to them and say goodbye personally, but I didn't want to disturb them and we're on a tight schedule."

I huffed as I looked down at my feet. "I never pictured of leaving my brothers. We're close so it's hard. But I know that'll we'll come back and we'll be together again" I said, as I sighed. I studied my hands as I felt a tear forming in my eye. I shook my head as I looked up at the outside again. I knew that Iori was staring at me, but at this point I didn't care. "I never thought of leaving my brothers or my family" I said, with a slight sob in my voice. I tried to keep the thought out of my mind, but it kept growing. Iori sighed as he spoke. "Now you know why I decided to make a band with Mitsuki" he said, as I turned to him. I settled down a bit, knowing that it's going to be ok. "What?" I asked taking the sob out of my voice this time. Iori smiled as he spoke. "That's why I'm in Idolish7" he said as he looked at Mitsuki. He smiled at his older brother while watching him sleep. "He get's annoying, but I couldn't live without him" he said. I smiled, now clearing up the tears in my eyes. "I can tell that you two are close by the way he introduced you the other day" I said, with a slight chuckle. Iori sighed as he spoke. "Yeah, he's the energetic one out of the two of us. Keeps life fun" he said, as I watched him look at his brother. I looked out the window as I sighed. "My brother's and I are total opposites" I said, as Iori smiled. "Someday we're gonna have to meet them" he said, as I nodded. "If we ever come back up north, I'll introduce them to you" I said as I sighed. I heard shifting towards the front of the limo as Sougo and Tamaki woke up. "Are we there yet?" Tamaki asked as Iori shook his head. "Not yet. Almost" he said, as I looked ahead of them. I studied the outside as I sighed. Iori looked at me again as I slouched in my seat. I kept thinking of my brothers, the thought just burning in the back of my head. "They probably wanted you to go and live your dream" he said as I nodded. "I know" I said, as I looked at my phone.

I flipped the lid over seeing a light blinking. "Who texted me?" I asked out loud as I unlocked it. It was an text from my older brother, telling me he wished me the best of luck. I smiled as tears formed in my eyes and I texted him a thanks."He must've been busy" I said, as I looked out the window. Iori sighed as he spoke. "Did he have to work?" he asked, as I nodded. "Yeah. He just texted me. He must be on a break" I said, as Iori smiled. "So he didn't forget" he said, as I sighed. "I guess not." Iori sighed. "Was your brothers home when you left?" he asked as I shook my head. "No, but I spent time with them last night. It was fun" I said, as I looked at Iori directly. "Sorry. It's important to me when it comes to family" I said, as he nodded. "It's ok. It's good to be close to your family." Sougo sighed. "Is everything ok?" he asked as Iori spoke. "She's just feeling bad that she didn't see her brothers before she left" he explained as Sougo looked at me. "Awe. It's ok songwriter. We'll be like brothers to you" he said, as I smiled. "Thanks. I need it, especially right off" I said, as Tamaki spoke. "Ok, so annoy you?" he asked, as I sighed. "It might have to come to that" I said, with a smile.

The three of them laughed as Sougo spoke. "That's what we'll probably do anyway. Especially Mitsuki" he said, as I nodded. "Ah, Kim warned me about that" I said, with a slight chuckle. Tamaki smiled as he spoke. "Knowing our choreographer, she'll start it" he said, as I chuckled a bit. "She'll start it and then I'll probably stop it" I said. Sougo shook his head. "That or we'll make you surrender. Then you'll have to join us" he said, as I chuckled. "That seems more like it" I said, trying not to wake up anyone with my laughter. We all let out a sigh as I looked ahead again. We heard sounds, as we looked at the other end of the limo. The rest of Idolish7 woke up out of their naps. They were silent at first, then looked at us. "Are we there yet?" Riku asked as Iori shook his head. "Almost. We should be arriving at any time" Iori said, trying to keep it down for Kim, who was still sleeping on me. I looked down at her as to think she woke up slowly, but still saw her sleeping. I sighed as I kept in position, letting her lean on my arm again. "Didn't know you were a good pillow Songwriter?" Yamato said as I nodded. "I guess I am. Won't be able to feel anything in my arm, but if she's tired" I said, as Kim shifted. "What? Where am I?" she asked, waking up from a deep sleep.

"Narnia" I said as she looked at me funny. The boys looked at me with confusion planted on their faces. "What?" Riku asked, but I seen it on all their faces. I chuckled as I spoke. "It's a book and a movie. It's about kids that go through a wardrobe into an unknown world. Which is Narnia" I said as Kim spoke. "She says it all the time when we go for rides and I fall asleep in the car" she said as the boys nodded. "Are you into Narnia, songwriter?" Yamato asked as I shrugged. "Not really. I've read the books and saw the movie, but I'm not really obsessed with it" I said, as I sighed. Kim elbowed me as she spoke. "She's into Kingdom Hearts, which is a game series" she said, as I nodded. "And I even brought it with me" I said, with a smile. I looked ahead of me, as I saw the gate to go into the airport. We pulled into the parking lot as the limo crawled to a stop.

We all filed out of the limo, as we stood in front of the airport.  I took a few moments to stare at it, knowing that this will be my first time getting on a plane.  I never been on a plane before, so I was a little nervous about it.  I was trapped in a stair when I heard footsteps walking up behind me. Someone jumped on my back as Nagi spoke. "You ready for this Songwriter?" he asked, which snapped me out of my gaze. "What?" I asked, as he smiled. "Ready to face you fear?" he asked, as I looked back at the airport.  "I will have to be" I said, as Riku got on the other side of me. "You'll do great songwriter" he said, as I nodded.  "I hope so" I said as I sighed.  I turned around to help unload our luggage onto one of the carriers for the plane.  I grabbed my little backpack that held all my electronics and some of my books.  I looked at Kim as she smiled. "You going to be ok with this?" she asked as we all started to walk inside.  "Yeah. It's the first time, so I'm a little scared" I said, as we entered the building.  "We'll help you out songwriter" Yamato said, as he gave me a creepy grin.  I leaned towards Kim as I spoke. "Does he always do that?" he asked as Kim nodded. "Always" she said, as we walked into the building.  A woman in a flight attendant uniform walked up to us. "Are you idolish7?" she asked, as Tsumugi nodded. "We are" she said, as the attendant smiled. "Your plane is prepared, ready for take off" she said, as I looked at the girl confused.  "Thank you" Tsumugi said as we followed the attendant down the hallway.

I sighed as I spoke. "Do you always have your own plane?" I asked, as Sougo shook his head. "Not really. But we got a small one this time" he said, as I nodded.  We all walked in silence as the attendant took us to this door. "This way" she said as she opened the door, reveling a track with a small plane sitting in the runway.  A stairway sat by the door, with the door opened.  We followed her towards the plane, as I looked at it.  I saw how big it was, which made me stop walking.  I stared at the plane in fear, as I felt my legs start to shake.  Walking came near me as Riku got in my view, watching me. "You going to be ok songwriter?" he asked as I stood there.  Fear was growing within me, to the point where I couldn't react.  "Mal?" Kim's voice said, pulling my attention towards her. She was standing with Tsumugi and everyone was looking at me with worry on their faces. I looked back at the plane as I sighed.  "I don't know" I said, with a shaky tone. "Idolish7" the flight attendant said as Sougo looked at her. "We're so sorry. Our songwriter is experiencing this for the first time" he said, as the attendant nodded. "Ok, take your time" she said, as I looked at the door.  "Songwriter" Riku said, which pulled my attention away to look at him.  "Yeah?" I said, in a shaky voice.  Riku cracked a smile as he spoke. "It's going to be ok. The big, metal bird won't hurt you" he said, as I looked at him.   I studied him in confusion as I spoke. "What?" I said, as I started to chuckle.  Yamato sighed as he spoke. "Yeah songwriter. Ready to board the big metal bird?" he asked as I looked at the plane.  At this point, I started to laugh. I nodded as I sighed. "I'm ready" I said, as we continued to get on the plane.
