House Arrest

I sat down in my new room. "This is your room, and this is my home. My roof, my rules. Let's get something strait while we're at it." He said. "You touch my wife, or my daughter, and I will personally shoot you. Understood?" I nodded quickly, my eyes growing wide as I heard a woman shout, "Karachi, I'm home! What was that surprise you were going on about?" He grabbed me by the collar. "I have very good aim." Then he motioned for me to follow him and led me down the stairs. "You remember how you said you wanted just one more kid? Well, I got this one out of a jail cell today. He's temporary but still..." Nishiki actually looked semi-nice when he was talking to her. "Hi there. I'm Shizuka Timori." I looked at he both of them. "Are you two married?" Nishiki looked down. "Not yet. We will be in two months though!" Shizuka told me, setting her bag on the counter. "Hey now, he's the kid from the news, isn't he? Timori, you know how I feel about this." She scolded him. I looked away, shoving my hands in my pockets. He's being scolded like a child! The sound of the front door opening caught my attention. "Shizu, Karachi! I'm home!" A girl called. Is that his daughter? "Hey, squirt, Guess what." Timori said. A little brunette girl skilled into the room, looked at the two 'adults' in the room, saw me, and dropped her bag. She pulled out a switchblade and ran at me. She's fast! Before I could dodge, she jumped at me. I put up my hands to block, but nothing happened. When I opened my eyes and moved my arms, Timori was hugging the girl. "Mimi, this is Saito. He's suspected to be the person who bombed us. Funny, huh?" She looked at me with killer intent and leaped out of her father's grasp. "That's it! I'm gonna kill him!" Her mother took the blade from her hands and dropped it into the sink. "Hey, I applaud the bloodlust, it gets you pretty far in the family business. What I don't like, is that you can't control your temper. Work on it, Mimi." He was strict with her, but also carefree. His daughter is a knife-toting midget? How odd... "Quit looking at me like that, murderer." She shouldered past me and went up the stairs. "M-murderer? Someone died?" Shizu pulled out a knife and started cutting strawberries. "Hey, hey. Don't kill the berries again, Shizu! Go easy on the poor things!" He laughed. He ruffled her hair and kissed her on the forehead and pushed me up the stairs. "Don't talk about it; ever." I looked at the photos in the hallways we walked. "Who are they?" I asked, pointing to a picture of seven boys in a very set-up looking stance. "My friends. Touch them and you die." He told me. He had a warm smile on his face though. Oh well... A pillow flew into my face. "Baka!" The girl shouted. An honorific? Oh wow, this just gets better and better.
