32 Chapter Thiry-two ~~~
Jihae unnie decided that she would drop me at the boys apartment, even if it was out of her way.
"I'd rather go out of my way than let you get lost in the dead of the night, besides it's too late for you to be roaming around at this hour." She said when I'd protested.
It was a little past 3:15 when she finally parked in front of Hannam the Hill. I was tired enough to fall asleep the moment my head touched the pillow.
"Do you wanna come up Unnie?" I asked her despite being so tired. I knew very well there was someone she was dying to see.
Tapping her fingers against the steering wheel, she looked at me unsurely.
"I don't think now is a good time Haya. He must be asleep anyway." She said giving me nervous smile. There was longing in her eyes. She wanted to come up, desperately, but she was scared of what she'd face if she went up with me.
Reaching over, I placed my hand over hers. "Come on Unnie. There is nothing to be afraid of. If you don't want to come up to see him, come as my guest then." I smiled at her hoping it was more reassuring than tired.
She hesitated, still unsure.
"They are all probably asleep." I tried one last time and she sighed.
"Fine, just to make sure you get inside alright." She said, giving me an awkward smile. Giggling I nodded my head and she pulled away to find a parking spot.
Then we were dragging our feet into the elevator. She was as tired as me, if not more so. After all, she spends her whole day on her feet, unlike me.
Typing in the passcode, I paused seeing how dark the apartment was. Laughing, knowing why I didn't move inside, she took my hand in hers, guiding me inside. Oh she was well aware of my fear of enclosed, dark places. And she didn't say anything when I latched into her as we were plunged into darkness when the door closed after us.
Removing our shoes, we were just about to step past the entryway, when the living room lights were switched on.
I jumped and unnie froze.
"Eunha?" Jin's voice called. A question, making sure it wasn't an intruder. Yet the worry was still distinguishable in his tone.
Jihae went pale hearing his voice, shooting me a weary look. Biting my lip I gave her a apologetic look. I hadn't been lying to her. I really had expected everyone to be asleep.
"Oppa, what are you doing still awake?" I called as I stepped past Jihae to walk into the house.
"Hmm, so you are aware of what time it is." He said, hands crossed over his chest and a chiding look in his face. Stern and definitely disappointed. "Is this really a time any girl should be -"
His words were cut off by a female voice talking over him.
"Relax Kim-ssi. She was with me the whole time." Jihae said as she finally stepped into the living room behind me. Her hand ruffled through my hair as she added, "Eunha isn't stupid enough to walk alone at night without a chaperon. Give her a little more credit than that."
Jin was frozen where he stood, staring at Jihae like he'd seen a ghost. The tension was so palpable I was sure you could slice it with a knife. It felt awkward just silently standing in the room with the two of them.
"Jihae?" Her name was whispered, almost as if not daring to say it out loud.
Jihae's bravado died immediately. Biting her lip, she averted her gaze away before greeting him. "Hello Jin, it has been a while." She said, a small nostalgic smile taking over her lips. She shuffled where she stood, unsure what to do with herself. She was feeling so awkward that it was projecting to me.
"You two... ur- catch up, I'll - ur" pointing behind Jin, I made my escape. Not like either of them bothered to reply. If they had even heard anything I said.
I was just glad to escape that very awkward and very tense reunion. So glad, that I all but ran straight into Jungkook's room. Not stopping to ponder the consequence of my actions. All but forgetting what he'd asked of me last night.
It was luck being on my side that Jungkook wasn't alone. Taehyung had found his way to Jungkook's bed and was wrapped around the latter, fast asleep.
Jungkook looked up at me startled when I entered the room. In my rush to get away from the living room, I didn't realise it was three in the morning and everyone was probably asleep. Only Jungkook didn't look like he'd been asleep as he stared at me with wide eyes - I may have closed the door a little too sharply for the hour.
"Eunha?" Jungkook questioned. His voice was groogy, but not with the deepness of sleep.
Chuckling sheepisly, realising my mistake, I tucked my hair behind my ear.
"Sorry, I was just in a hurry to get away." I explained with a bashful smile.
Jungkook's eyes darted towards the door before he smiled at me. "Did Jin hyung catch you sneaking in?"
I tilted my head, wondering how to explain what I was escaping from.
"No, well, yes. He did catch me, but that's not why I'm running. Jihae Unnie dropped me, so I asked her to come up not expecting Jin Oppa to be awake."
That explanation was enough for Jungkook's eyes to widen and stare at the door with understanding.
"Wait-" he said after a moment. "How do you know Jihae Noona?" He questioned, eyes narrowing in my direction.
"Jin Oppa met Jihae Unnie in the first place because of me silly. Of course I know Jihae Unnie. She's the one who always supplies me with cakes and buns and coffee in the dead of the night when Suga Oppa is working late and he wants me to find all that for him." I replied before casting a look around the room.
I gave Taehyung a curious look but didn't comment. It wasn't rare for the two of them to be sharing a bed. Taehyung couldn't sleep without hugging something or someone. On days they practice extra hard or days that are stressful he always sleeps with Jungkook.
"Do you want to join?" Jungkook asked, seeing where I was looking at. My eyes quickly darted over to his. His words from earlier ringing in my head with sudden clarity.
Despite me never answering him and running away, he had a small smile on his lips as he beckoned for me to join them.
My lips parted even though I had no idea what I was going to say. "I need to change and shower."
Thank God I didn't say something stupid.
Jungkook laughed before pointing at his dresser. "Go ahead. You can burrow my clothes if you don't want to go back to Yoongi Hyung's room." He said, then flopped back down, letting Taehyung to pull him against the elder.
Nodding my head dumbly - I couldn't wrap my mind around how casual he was being - I decided to take his offer. Dropping my bag by the door, I grabbed one of his white t-shirts and shorts before heading for the shower.
By the time I stepped out Jungkook had shifted Taehyung over, making room for me on the bed. He himself was on his phone.
"How come you aren't asleep?" I questioned as I climbed into bed. Tae took this moment to wake up.
"Eunha bear." He mumbled before pulling me down into the bed and wrapping his arms around me. Pulling me flush against him, he burried his face in my hair and drifted right back asleep.
Jungkook laughed seeing my baffled face, then laid down himself.
"Good night Eunha." He whispered so as not to wake Taehyung again.
"Night Kookie." I mumbled back, making myself comfortable in Taehyung's arms. They weren't exactly unfamiliar. After all, I'd been sleeping with whoever since Suga decided to go MIA on all of us. I switched whom I slept with depending on who was awake when I went to bed - which was mostly Jungkook or Taehyung.

To my utter surprise Jungkook was no longer in bed when I woke up. However I didn't have the time to wonder where he went, not when a girl I've never before seen in my life was the one to wake me up.
I jerked back so hard seeing her my head rammed into Taehyung's chest. A soft, sleepy curse left his lips, hands tightening a fraction around my waist.
Before I could freak out on him he smoothed a hand through my fringe, a gentle 'shh' pressed against my ear. Giving the girl - who looked like she was at least three years elder to me - a cautious look, I turned to Tae with wide, imploring eyes.
Giving me a sleepy smile in return - he wasn't fully awake yet - he sat up, untangling our limbs in the process.
The girl stood by the door, frowning as she took the two of us wrapped around each other. I should've noticed what she held in her hand, but in all honesty, she'd given me quite the scare when she popped up out of no where. She certainly wasn't a staff member from BigHit and very much so a stranger.
Excuse me if I thought she was a saesang for a moment there.
The only reason I wasn't screaming the house down was because Tae seemed to know her.
He got down from the bed and approached her with a smile I could only call filled with love. Wrapping an arm around her, he gave her temple a deep kiss.
"Eunha, meet my girlfriend. Hyerin, Eunha, Yoongi Hyung's little baby." He introduced us. His hands wrapped tightly around her waist and keeping her flush against him. "I told you she was staying with us because Yoongi hyung disappeared into no where."
Hyerin's eyebrows shot up in realisation at the introduction.
"Ah! Yes, you mentioned something once." She nodded her head, turning in his hold so her back was to me. "I brought Yeontan like you asked." She said, sly smile pulling up her lips as she disregarded what he'd told her. Not even a hello to me.
I bit my lip, unsure what to do. It was clear she had no intention to actually meet me. However, I couldn't just leave either - not with the pair of them blocking the doorway.
I need not have worried, for Taehyung solved my predicament with his next actions.
With a shout of delight, he took the cage from her, set it down and got the dog out. After pepperng him with the affection he deserved he turned to me with a full blow boxy smile.
"I thoughts it's about time you met Tannie." He said as he carried the dog over to me. Hyerin didn't look like she was satisfied with the sudden turn of events. Not like Tae even noticed. He was too excited to have me meet Yeontan.
Laughing, mostly for Taehyung's sake - because Hyerin made me uncomfortable - I crawled to the edge of the bed where he sat.
"Tan-ah, meet Eunha. She's Yoongi Hyung's baby sister so you have to take care of her okay?" He said to the adourable dog, who looked at me curiously. Giggling, I leaned over Tae's shoulder to scratch behind his ear.
It took a while to coax him into my arm, but I won his trust soon enoigh- with major help from Tae - and he was happy curled up in my arms.
"Taehyung... we need to talk." Hyerin suddenly piped up. She was still stood by the door, arms crossed with a not too pleased expression.
"Ur- come on Tan-ah, let's go say 'hi' to everyone else." I said jumping to my feet. Throwing Taehyung a quick smile, I ducked my head as I rushed out past her. I wasn't fast enough to avoid hearing the first words she screamed at him.
"You see me after, how long was is Tae? And you're not even -"
In my hurry to get away, I didn't see Jimin step out of his room and ran smack into him. His arm shot out, catching my arm before I could fall down. Ignoring the apology I was quick to give, his eyes trailed to where I had been rushing out of. A rueful smile making it's way to his lips.
"I see you've met Hyerin." He said as he led me towards the dinning room. I looked up, surprised at the not-so-fond tone he used.
"You don't like Hyerin-ssi?" I asked bouncing Yeontan in my arms.
Jimin looked down at me before smiling. "It's not that I don't like her Haya, but... she isn't my most favorite person for sure." He said, However his tone suggested there was more to this than he was willing to admit. To me at least.
I nodded my head, accepting his answer and not digging. It wasn't my place to question him. Everyone is entitled to their secrets.
I got my second surprise for the day when I found Jihae still here.
"Unnie!" I said surprised and even Jimin's eyes widened in surprise.
"Noona! When did you come?" He asked as he rushed over to hug her. Laughing she hugged him back.
"I came to drop Eunha last night. Seokjin-ssi was really good at convincing me to stay." She said, replying to my unasked question as well as Jimin.
"Oh just call him Jin and go Jihae unnie. We all know you want to." Haneul joked from the table table surprising me once more. Looks like everyone was here, because a moment later Mira came into the room with Hobi. Tae and Hyerin joining us for breakfast once we had already dug in.
The table was crowded with no space to move, but it was a fun breakfast. The house filling with noise and laughter. The whole mood relaxed and laid-back. I almost didn't miss oppa in the chaos.
Then it was time for the boys to get to the company and for the girls to get going.
I volunteered to wash up considering I didn't need to be at the company for another hour at least. Jin hyung walked Jihae unnie to the door, Hobi volunteering to drop Mira at her workplace. Tae and Hyerin disappearing somewhere.
With not many people around, I decided to test Jungkook's theory.
Haneul was right there and this was a perfect opportunity. Besides, whatever the outcome, I had already decided to accept his offer. I'd have told him last night if Tae hadn't woken up. I was going to, but I wanted to do it alone. If he didn't want them to know, then that was his decision.
Which was why I wrapped my hands around Jungkook's shoulder on my way to the kitchen and pretended to steal his coke.
"So, um, about what you asked last night." I whispered, giving him my whole weight. He bent slightly, but otherwise held he up fine. He wasn't called the muscle pig for nothing I guess. "I guess if it will really help." Then peering over his shoulder so I cold meet his eyes I grinned mischeivously. "But you're asking me on a date properly." I giggled before straightening up.
A quick glance and Haneul showed me he wasn't entirely wrong. Oh she definitely was interested to know what I told him.
"Wait! For real!?" Jungkook shouted after me. Trampling down the urge to smack my forehead, I laughed nodding my head and walked to the kitchen. I heard the screech of the chair scrapping against wood and footsteps hurrying after me.
I looked over my shoulder to see Jungkook run into the kitchen. He rushed straight up to me and swept me right off my feet in his excitement. I could feel Jimin's, Namjoon's and Haneul's curious gazes on us, but no one asked what I had told him to get him this excited.
"Haya is the absolute best!" He exclaimed as he twirled me around the kitchen.
Laughing I clung to him, not wanting him to accidentally drop me.
"Yes, yes. Now let me go and get changed. You have to get to work." I said once he slowed down, squirming out of his hold. Giving me a loud kiss on my cheek, he ran out of the kitchen. Leaving me to chuckle at his puppy behaviour and wipe his saliva off my cheek.
Geez this man-boy-baby.
Well, this week is going to be fun.
