12 Chapter Twelve ~
"Oh my god. You know BTS?"
Mira's whisper came before Suga could defend himself. Having all but forgotten her at this point, I froze. I turned to face her, breath held.
She was still staring at Suga in shock.
Alright, let's rewind a little bit.
Me and Mira along with her parents on time for the ceremony which had gone perfectly fine. Once the ceremony was over I had run over to hug appa, which was where I found Suga. With a low cap on and a mask he remained unidentified by my colleagues.
I'd been arguing with Suga about showing up when I had distinctly told him not to. That's when Mira showed up and here we are...
"Mira-chan." I said softly, throwing Suga a glance. He looked worried, until he heard her name. Then he just looked at her assertive - I could hear the 'ah, so you're Mira' going through his head. Seeing as he was being unhelpful I turned back to solved this on my own.
"He's your infamous Oppa?" She asked, finally turning her gaze to me. I couldn't identify the emotion her eyes held. It wasn't pure anger like Ha-neul had. It wasn't fascination either. It wasn't something in between the two either.
I silently nodded my head. Until I gauge her mood I decided not to open my mouth. I was the one at fault here, so I'm the one who has to defend myself.
"And you must be the infamous Mira-chan." Suga piped up from behind me. He stood by my shoulder, a somewhat protective pose as he stood beside me.
I'm not sure what it was, but something about the way he stood screamed protective.
Mira looked puzzled on how he knew her name.
"I've been meaning to meet you." He added, eyes roaming over her body from top to bottom. This was news to me, so I looked at him raising my eyebrows along with Mira. She crossed her arms with a defiant look.
"Me too." She said.
Great now she looked as protective as him. And I was stuck in the middle of their face off. Knowing how protective both of them could get, this could turn for the worst pretty soon. I don't want them to fight.
"Really? And why is that?" He asked.
"Well, I wanted to meet Eun-Ha's Oppa, not BTS' Suga." She said point blank.
Wow! Can't I just say how impressed I was with her. For someone who fangirled at the guys picture she sure was holding up against him awesomely. Not once had she fretted out about him being Suga from BTS. She was talking to him as if she'd talk to anyone not famous.
In my impressed-ness I almost missed the glare she sent my way when she said that last part. I dropped my gaze with guilt. Suga took my hand in his, giving it a gentle reassuring squeeze.
"And what was your business with me?" She questioned, her voice still hard.
He let go of my hand as he continued his face-off with her.
"My baby sister spends too much time with you, I think I have a right to know what kind of person you are." Suga replied in an equally hard voice.
"Oppa." I whined, giving him a pleading look.
"Don't Oppa me Eun-Ha." He said sternly. Though he never once looked at me. "You trust people way too easily. I have to make sure you aren't starting a friendship with another *****."
I gasped. This could be taken the total wrong way, but it wasn't Mira he was calling that. He was calling Ha-neul that.
"In that case you should understand why I trust you even less as well." Mira replied, not deterred in the slightest by his words.
"What's that's supposed to mean?" Suga demanded, narrowing his eyes at her.
Mira scoffed, giving him a dark glare. "What kind of insane person drags a teenage girl out of bed in the dead of the night asking her to buy groceries?" Her voice was no less demanding than his. "You expect me to believe your intentions are pure when you keep insisting on dragging her out at all hours of the night?"
I sighed, kneading my forehead with my fingers. Appa had long since abandoned this conversation. In fact, he'd abandoned it the moment it had started. I was left alone to deal with them. I'm lucky their arguing isn't drawing anyone's attention.
I do not want to be in a position where someone video-taped this scene of Suga defending my honour with my friend.
"That's the only time I get to see Eun-Ha under her own jurisdiction. She refuses to be seen in public with me so I can only see her when no one is around. Also, I've known her for a full four years, I've had more than enough time - and let me tell you that Eun-Ha has slept over in my studio enough days - for me to do something to her if my intention was anything but honest. Eun-Ha is nothing more to me than a little sister! She'll always be my little sister whom I have to protect because she's still an innocent kid who need to be protected."
I stared at him with my mouth hanging open. Mira was as stuck speechless as me.
I couldn't believe he had such strong affection towards me. That care, that love... it always takes me by surprise. I mean, I know he loves and cares for me, but it's at time like this I realise how deep and strong that love is.
"Now, it's your turn to defend why I should let Eun-Ha hang out with you even after this." He added when we both remained silent.
I gave him a look silently pleading him to let it go, but he blatantly ignored me.
"Why can't the two of you just trust my word? I love both of you, so why can't the two of you just get along.. for my sake."
"Sorry Ha-Ya. I love you but you're the kind of person who will trust a perfect stranger to treat you like a lady." Suga scoffed, patting my head to soften the blow of his words.
"That's not true." I protested, pushing his hand away.
"Ha-chan, who was it who wanted to buy that poor man lunch last night?" Mira questioned giving me a I-don't-want-to-admit-it-but-he's-right smile.
"That's different. He was a starving man who could use a meal." I protested.
"You didn't let her buy the man a meal did you?" Suga asked Mira.
"Are you insane? Of course I didn't. She'd want to take him home give him an bath, clothes and help him find a job if I hadn't dragged her away." Mira shouted.
The only reason this didn't draw attention to us was because most of the girls had recognised the other members of BTS and they were flocking around them. This left the three of us mainly by ourselves.
I pouted, but kept silent. At least they are agreeing on something, so maybe they'd learn to get along after all.
It was the moment they realised they were smiling at each other, they drew a blank.
"This doesn't mean I like you any less." Suga scoffed suddenly, glaring at her again. Scoffing herself, Mira crossed her arms.
"Glad we are on the same page. I don't trust you any more than I already did." She agreed with him. Her own eyes narrowed at Suga. The two of them were practically killing each other with their eyes.
I sighed in defeat. These two were way too stubborn for me to handle.
Deciding I no longer wanted to have any part of this argument, I went looking for Mira's mother and father. After everything they had done for me, it felt only right to thank them as well. Today I won't be going back to their place.
Ha-Jun Oppa found a cheaper place for me to stay until we could decide on something more permanent. With my fathers pay and my own side-job, the place was manageable to afford.
It was just a small room, enough for me to live in. It's not like I needed much. Just a wifi, bed, charger and TV and I'm good. The bedroom, kitchen and living room was one with a attached bathroom. Considering circumstances it was perfect. Also, I doubt I'd barely use it.
With my time spending in BigHit Entertainment - yes, BangPD gave me a part-time job to do mischallaneous jobs for the crew - and other things. I probably end up spending my nights there only when the boys are out of the country. So it was not a big deal at all. Everything worked out fine.
Someone grabbing my hand make me look up. Ha-Jun Oppa was grinning at me.
"Ha-Ya! Congratulations!" He laughed holding out a bouquet of flowers for me. I gasped, brightening up as I took with from him. Considering he was the only one who got flowers for me I was excited.
"You are the best brother ever!" I exclaimed jumping on him so I could hug him. Laughing he patted my back before setting me on my feet.
"Now, where were you wondering off on your own? Lost in your thoughts no less?" He asked, giving me a stern look.
Frowning I looked around to see I had wandered off quite the distance from everyone. Good thing I was still in school grounds so I couldn't get lost.
"I was looking for Mira-chan's mother and father," I replied sheepishly, scratching my ear. We both knew what happened while I was looking so neither of us commented on it. Instead he just shook his head and turned me back the way I'd come.
"Let's go, everyone's waiting for us to get to the restaurant." He said, walking towards the parking lot. I quickly ran to catch up, mindful not to lose petals from my bouquet. Yep, the flowers were fresh.
I hooked my hands through his elbow when I caught up with him. He merely smiled, used to me doing this all the time. What can I say? I'm a very clingy person.
We joined my father in the car and drove to the restaurant. Mira and her parents would join us there.
The drive was short and pretty uneventful. We reached the restaurant at the same time Mira and her parents arrived. Her parents hugged me and we exchanged greetings before stepping inside the restaurant.
My father had booked a private room just for the six of us, which was over-exaggerated in my opinion, but it was his gift so I didn't say anything. It was just the six of us, why ever would we need a private room for gods sake.
I shook my head before stepping inside the private dinning room.
The moment I did, my eyebrows shot up in surprise. I finally understood why my father had booked a private room.
All members from BTS sat around the table, talking among themselves. Then their was Mira, who was blushing as she talked with J-Hope and RM. (Even though her bais is Suga, she looked pretty flustered to even be in BTS' presence).
Their was another person sitting with everyone. Someone who got up the moment she saw me, arms held wide open, beckoning me to a hug.
Gasping in surprise for the hundredth time today - everyone kept surprising me today - I rush straight into her arms.
"Eomma!"I exclaimed even as he arms wrapped around me in a tight hug. Nope, she wasn't my mother. She was Suga's mother. The person who had been a mother figure to me whenever I needed it, someone who loved and cared for me.
"My little Ha-Ya! Eomma is so proud of you darling." She whispered, holding me tightly to her. I felt tears pooling as I held on to her tightly, not wanting to let go. She laughed stroking my hair and continuing to hold me when I refused to let her go.
"Aigoo, Ha-Ya. It's okay darling." She whispered softly into my hair. "Eomma is here now, don't cry." Her voice was audible only to me as she said this last part. Compassion filled her voice as she whispered.
I nodded my head, but it was a few more moments before I let her go. I quickly dabbed under my eyes with a tissue, while she patted my cheek with a smile. Pulling my face against her forehead, she whispered, "that's my strong girl."
When we separated I silently slipped into the only remaining seat beside Suga. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect graduation Lunch.

I apologise for the long wait posting this chapter. I had a small problem editing this due to losing the ending of the previous chap. Not to mention i was kinda focusing on editing my original novel due to submitting in a few writing contests.
I hope this chap will makeup for it. Apologies for any errors because I updated in a hurry.
Constructive criticism is always welcome and point out any typos please. I'd be eternally greatful.
