01 Chapter One ~~~

Year 2017, November 05

AgustD blasting from my phone jerked me awake. Rubbing sleep from my eyes, I patted my bedside table blindly for my phone. Not bothering to check caller ID - I already knew who it was, this ringtone was set only for one person - I answered the phone.

"Oppa!" I answered blearily. I was still half-asleep to convey my enthusiasm. Not that he cared either way.

"Eunha, I need you to run to the supermarket and get some things for me." He replied in a rush. He sounded tired, but wide awake - even if it was the middle of the night.

Rubbing my eyes some more, I pulled my blanket over my head. "Oppa, you're on the opposite side of the world. How can I get anything from the supermarket for you? Also, it's..." I pause to check the time before continuing. "3 in the morning."

"Paboya, don't you read any of your tweets? Or check YouTube? It's all over the place that we are back in Korea." Suga sighed, and I could just imagine him shaking his head in disbelief. "So note down everything I tell you, or you'd forget, and bring them to my studio."

"That's unfair, you know I never use social media other than YouTube. And how come you never told me?" I grumbled, pushing aside the blanket to grab my diary from my bedside table. "Okay, what do you need?"

"We came back in a rush, I didn't have time to text you or send you a vlog." He explained before telling me what he wanted.

"Hmmm... okay, meet you in an hour... and a half if I can't find a taxi," I said, only half paying attention to the conversation as I smacked my book shut.

Suga simply hummed and cut the line. Long since used to his behaviour, I stretched my hand over my head and sat up. Only to scream and jump back.

I found Haneul sitting on her bed - on the opposite side of mine - and staring at me. How I had missed this for the duration of my conversation was beyond me.

"Neul-ah, you frightened me," I said, holding a hand over my heart.

She didn't seem to hear me as she silently lowered her head. "Was that Yoongi-Oppa on the line?"

The question was rhetoric, so I stayed silent. She already knew the answer. He was the only Oppa who'd call me in the middle of the night to run errands for him.

"Is he.... is he still mad at me?" she asked. Now, this was a question she wanted an answer to. She never did get over her break-up with Oppa, and even though all the boys were friends with her, Suga never forgave her. He wouldn't tell me why they broke up, but whatever the reason it was bad.

He still refused to acknowledge her, or even be in her presence. How the boys never noticed the negative energy between the two is forever a mystery to me.

Personally, I have never met them other than RM-Oppa and Jin-Oppa (just the one time when I helped Suga Oppa four years ago), so I can't judge.

"I don't really know," I told her with a guilty smile as I got out of bed. Patting her shoulder as I passed, I crept out of our bedroom and to the bathroom down the hall. Our dorm consisted of six girls total with three bedrooms, a kitchen, living room/lounge and one bathroom.

I doubt the other girls knew I and Haneul know the members of BTS personally - Haneul more than me - and I liked it that way.

Brushing my teeth, washing my face - it was too cold and too early to take a wash. Besides Suga has seen me in all kinds of states to effect if I dressed up for him or not. Which is why I didn't bother with make-up or dressing up. Throwing on a casual black t-shirt with the BigHit logo and a skirt that fell up to my knees I was good to go.

The supermarket was just two blocks from the dorm, so grabbing my diary I set out.

Thankfully I got a taxi when I was done shopping and reached genius lab in the promised hour. I had to wait three whole minutes on the doorstep before he let me in.

In fact, the moment he opened the door, he hauled me inside and slammed the door shut behind me. Not caring that I almost tipped off balance, he grabbed the bags from my hand and spilt them out on the floor.

I drove to save the bread and buns from spilling on the floor.

"Did you get everything I asked?" He asked.

I shrugged my shoulder and put the food on a plate over the only free surface I could find - which was over a buffer (or whatever that thing is called).

This being almost my second home in Seoul, I knew every nook and cranny of the place. After all, whenever Suga Oppa was in Seoul we spent almost all the time here. Him making me his errand girl and then refusing to let me leave - especially if I have to return to my dorm.

Last year I learnt for all my exams in this very studio. Oppa helping me research and everything. He was a genius, but every fan already knows that.

Muttering to himself he started arranging the things he asked me to buy, while I flopped down on his chair and watched him silently.

Okay, that sounded creepy. I didn't mean it in that way. I was the only one other than him who knew where everything in the studio was, so I had to pay attention to where he kept his stuff so I could get it for him when he asks. This saved him a lot of cussing time I discovered throughout the years.

Once he was done, he pulled a stool and sat in front of all the equipment.

"I made a new track, wanna listen?" He asked, shooting me a smile. Like an eager puppy given a bone, I perked up. Chuckling he grabbed his headphone and settled them on my ear, before pressing some buttons and adjusting the volume.

I closed my eyes to concentrate as the track started playing.

My eyes flew open, with a wide smile and encouraging nod when the crescendo came to a close.

"Well, how was it?" He asked me with a laugh, removing the headphone from my head. The reason I refused to touch it was because that last time I had the whole place had short-circuited. It had nothing to do with me - as it turned out - but I've refused to touch any of his equipment since.

"That was brilliant!" I said pumping my arms in the air. "I'd definitely listen to it if it ever makes it to the tracklist."

Suga rolled his eyes and ruffled my hair, turning back to his work. What he wanted to hear from me was criticism. Unfortunately for him, my music knowledge didn't go past the songs I listened to, so I was never any help for him.

"Oppa~ I'm gonna head back and get someone more shut-eye, I have classes in the morning. There is bread and buns on that table, so make sure you eat something." I told him in a sweet voice, jumping to my feet. I strategically avoid looking directly at him so I wouldn't have to look at the disapproving look I know he's giving me.

"Eunha." There was an underlying tone of warning in his tone.

"Oppa," I whined turning back to him with a pleading look.

"Just sleep on the couch, I'll drive you to college in the morning." He said dismissively.

"I can't go to college looking like this," I said pointing at my hurriedly put together outfit. "And I need my books and my essays that I need to hand over and -"

"Eunha, it's Saturday. Your classes don't start until after 10. Your dorm will be empty by then so I can drive you. Stop fretting and go to sleep." He ordered, pointing at the couch to the side. "I'll buy lamb kebab tonight for you, me and Jungkook if you stay." He added, knowing how well I loved to eat lamb kebab, but never got the chance to.

"AH~ That's unfair Oppa! Aren't you on a diet or something?" I grumbled as I complied with his wishes. He didn't bother responding, and before I knew it I was out like a light.

The sound of loud bangs roused me from my sleep. I wasn't surprised to find myself in Genius lab. I was surprised to find Oppa nowhere in sight.

The banging continued, and a muffled voice called, "Hyung! Open the door."

Rubbing my eyes, I stumbled my way to the door. I knew my way around well enough to walk blind. Considering the 'Hyung' that was shouted, it was surely one of his bandmates, hence me opening the door without checking.

Still only half awake, I peered out to come face to face with Jeon Jungkook.

He stared at me in shocked silence, as I cocked my head to the side inquisitively. Considering he rarely was ever in here - at least when I was around - I was wondering what he wanted.

I mean, he didn't try going inside even though I had thrown the door open and stepped aside for him to enter. In my sleepy state, I forgot about the Golden Maknea's aversion to girls. And the fact he probably didn't know who I was.

"Ur - is Suga Hyung here?" He asked after a long moment of staring back and forth, from me into the studio.

Scratching my head I glanced behind me as well. "I don't think he is," I said and walked into the studio. For whatever reason, he remained standing on the threshold. I checked the washroom, only to find no one inside.

"Are you Eunha?" His voice was a soft whisper. It was the dead silence that enabled me to hear him.

Turning back to face him, I nodded my head confused by the question. Considering this was the first time we were meeting I was wondering how he knew my name.

I mean yes, J-Hope, Jimin and V have butt into my conversation with Suga (most often than not to whine about wanting to meet me) enough for them to even know I existed. Jungkook had remained the one member I had never spoken a word to or even gotten a glimpse of (the television, posters and MV's not counting).

"Oh, Hyung asked me to drop you off in school on my way." He said wringing his hands.

Scratching my head, I looked at the clock to find it was already 7:00.

"ARGH!" I exclaimed as I dashed to my bag. A piece of paper fluttered to the ground when I pulled it. In case it was something important of Suga's I picked up the paper to find it was a note for me.

I have to meet with PDnim earlier than I thought. I'll have Kookie pick you from the studio and drop you in school, don't get late. And anything you do, don't leave on your own. Go with Kookie.

Yoongi

P.S. ~ I promise to buy you lamb kebab when I pick you up from school.

Chuckling, I pocketed the note and grabbed the extra set of keys to lock up the studio. All the while I took, Jungkook stood right outside the door without a sound of complaint. I was starting to admire his patience, only to step outside and find him annoyed.

"Sorry. I had to lock up. Oppa left everything open." I apologised as I clicked the last lock in place and tested it. I gave him an apologetic smile when I was done.

He returned a cute bunny smile. I had to swallow back a squeal at how adorable it was. Instead, I quickly averted my eyes to my docks, blushing tomato red.

"Sh-shall we go?" I asked, keeping my eyes averted to avoid going even more red in the face. The fact that I had just woken up, probably with a rats nest over my head and no make-up wasn't helping my self-confidence.

You'd think that after all this time I'd be a Suga stan, but my bais remained Jungkook. Which made this meeting only that much more awkward to me. Because up to this point Suga hadn't dared to introduce me to any of them. Not officially anyway.

I have only met Jin and Namjoon. Jin that night when I helped him home and RM whenever I stopped by BigHit or when I was with Suga.

My father worked for the company so he called me over to help whenever they were short on hands.

"Of course." He said and motioned for me to go ahead. Fingering the strap of my bag nervously, I complied. He was at least five inches taller than me, so it soon was me trying to keep in stride with him.

Like a gentleman, he even held the door open for me when we reached the car. Giving him a quick bow, I scurried inside.

"So, where exactly is your school?" He asked me when we were safely inside the car. Was it a bad thing that we were both practically glued to the opposite side? There was a berth wide enough for two more people to squeeze in between us.

"Actually, I need to change into my uniform, so just drop me off in my place," I replied scratching my neck.

"Well, you heard her Sejin Hyung," Jungkook said to the man on the driver's seat - whom I hadn't recognised until then.

"Good morning Sejin Oppa." I greeted with a wide smile and bow.

"Good morning Eunha," He greeted me back, barely meeting my eyes in the rearview mirror. "Did you spend all of last night in the studio?"

"No, Yoongi Oppa asked me to come around 3. I fell asleep on the couch while he was working," I replied honestly. I was pretty used to the man. After all the times Suga has sent the man to pick me up from school. He was also the person who helped me to sneak into BigHit before my father started working for them.

Sighing he shook his head.

"You both need to be more careful. What was he thinking asking you out that late?" He sounded disappointed.

"Well, someone has to make sure he eats when working," I said laughing.

I'll be honest. Jungkook was so silent this whole time that I forgot he was even in the van with us. Playful banter with Sejin was normal, something I was so used to that I simply fell into a routine.

"Are you accusing me of not feeding them properly?"

"No, no! Oppa!" I said in a rush, laughing and shaking my head. "I meant when he's awake in the middle of the night and when no one is around."

"Considering that he should be sleeping instead of working, how can you possibly blame me?"

"It's not you that I'm blaming," I exclaimed, throwing my hands up as a show of frustration, but was giggling too much for him to buy it.

"Then you blame someone?" He questioned raising his eyebrows.

"BangPD!" I replied without a second thought.

My reply had Jungkook chocking on air, finally reminding me of his presence. I whirled around so fast, it was a surprise I didn't get whiplash.

"Ah! Are you okay?" I asked when he hacked a lung. Sliding closer I pat his back, looking up at his manager in panic. The man didn't seem worried. In fact, he was smirking at me.

"We're here."

That was all he said when he caught my eyes on the rearview mirror.

Frowning I turned back to Jungkook, he straightened up and gave me a small smile. A reassurance that he was okay. Giving him a relieved smile I moved back over to the door.

"Thanks for the ride," I called as I got down, bowing to both Jungkook and his manager. Giving a slight wave, I rushed inside to get ready.

Haneul was getting dressed when I crashed into our room. Startled, I stopped in my tracks. She usually would have left by now.

She looked at me from top to bottom making me uncomfortable.

"Haneul-ah, you didn't leave yet?" I asked her with a small smile. Stepping inside the room, I closed the door shut after me.

"No, I got late to wake up." She said shortly, turning back to buttoning her shirt. "And I see you're only just coming back."

I could hear the judgment dripping from her tone, which made me look down. I knew how much she still likes Suga Oppa, so I felt guilty for the obvious impression I gave her.

"It wasn't like that Haneul-ah. I just fell asleep while listening to his new mixtape." I explained to the ground.

"Obviously it is none of my business. It's his life... and yours. We are no longer together. It's been three and a half years, I need to get over him. Besides you are free to do what you want to do." She said

I shook my head quickly, stepping closer and taking her hand.

"It really isn't like that. Suga Oppa is like a brother to me. Just like Hajun Oppa," I told her, trying to explain that he was no different to me than my brother.

"As I said, what you do or don't isn't dictated by me." She said, shooting me a smile. The insincerity of that smile wasn't lost on me. I'd been with her whenever she gave that same smile to many kids she found inferior to herself.

"Anyway, Eunha, I'm going to go ahead, I'll catch-up with you in school," She added, pulling her hand away. Without really letting me answer, she was out the door, leaving me staring after her.

I sighed. Well, I could understand why she was so hurt. She was in love with Yoongi and me getting to spend so much time with him while she cannot must hurt. I'd feel the same way if my crush rejected me but spent all his time with Haneul too.

Shaking my head, I didn't have time for this, I rushed to the washroom to take a wash. Then changing to my uniform, I grabbed my school bag and rushed out.

I didn't see the white van still waiting for me, so ran right past it until a voice yelled my name. Skidding to a halt, I turned around to find Sejin waving me over. Puzzled why they were still waiting for me, I hurried back.

"Oppa, is everything alright?" I asked worriedly.

"Get in Eunha, we're driving you to school." He said rolling his eyes. With that said he opened the passenger side door.

"Aw, you didn't have to wait." I said even as I got in. "Won't Jungkookssi get late?" I asked throwing a glance back at him as I did. And that's when I noticed Haneul sitting right beside him. My eyebrows shot up in surprise, but I smiled at her.

"Suga Hyung told me I have to drop you at school and not to let you go alone." Jungkook replied giving me a smile that sent blood rushing to my face. Ducking my head in embarrassment, I quickly turned back front.

One thing I noticed during the drive to school was, Jungkook was pretty comfortable around Haneul as awkward as he had been with me. I knew the reason for this. Haneul knew all the boys, much better than I did - and that included Jungkook.

Suga is the only Bangtan member I knew well.

This was due to me not wanting to meet them as opposed to Haneul who had wanted to meet them. But that was way back when she was still dating Yoongi. What really puzzled me was why none of the boys knew that they had been dating.

I know they didn't know.

Especially after the way I saw Jungkook staring at her when she wasn't paying attention. The boy was head-over-heels for her. It was adorable to watch, but sad knowing she would probably not return his feelings.

A/N~

Hey lovely readers and fellow ARMY's, welcome to a new adventure with our favourite boys. I'm not sure what to put here :) so I'm going to ask you guys what you thought of the story so far. How are you liking Eunha's character? What you thought was lacking?

I welcome all forms of constructive criticism, so don't hesitate to point out any and all mistakes. I did edit this chapter, but I could still have left typos so again don't hesitate to point them out. I'm always open to listening to others opinions so anything you have to say I'm all ears to listen to you.

On a totally random note, I'm curious to know what all of you guys favourite BTS song is? Mine is Just One Day - which was the song that made me fall completely and irrevocably in love with seven amazing boys. I also love For You, don't ask me to choose between the two. I can't.

That was longer than I thought it'd be, my apologies for probably boring you. Let me know what you think, and don't forget to comment your favourite song and leave a vote XD

Thank you so much for taking your time to read XD

R£NΔ~
