"So you are aware of this mission right?"

"Destroy the bridge and come back to Konoha."

"But it's not going to be easy." Teruya said, a more serious look to his face that matched the atmosphere of the discussion.

"Any of us could die alright?"

Obito nodded. Rin muttered a small "yeah" and Kakashi gave a small grunt of agreement. So everyone knew the dangers of this mission which was good.

Currently Minato was doing some errands for the Hokage and wasn't available now but made sure that he could come in for the initial topics which he did.

The teen gave an exasperated sigh. 

         This was going to be some shitty mission he had to make sure would be successful in some way that the team understands the "real" value of teamwork and friendship and to be very honest, there were some tough choices he was going to have to make.

"You've been sighing a lot these days Teruya-san. Any problems?" Obito asked as he started packing up for the day. It was getting late and they had to sleep early to wake up early for the long awaited mission for tomorrow. 

Normally it would've been any other normal mission for Team 7 but seeing Teruya-san so tense gave the kids the impression that this mission was anything but normal.

Teruya, deep in thought did not register that question in his brain, leaving it as one of the many imaginary voices in his head left, though not without bumping into a tree.

Ironically, the crickets started chirping and it was getting colder by the minute. It was night already.

'Rise and shine kit. It's time.'

Blue eyes shot open wide.

"Kurama? Is it really you?!"

'In the flesh kiddo.'

The blond gasped, getting up from bed immediately and hugging the figure infront of him.

"I'm sorry for ignoring you Kurama." he cried, the fox snuggling him in-between his shoulders and neck

'I'm sorry for doing this Naruto. I am very sorry.' Kurama apologized, with the teen still holding on to him.

"No Kurama it's fine. I was not feeling well and I-" He sighed. "I'm so sorry."

Teruya broke the hug first, wiping some stray tears that managed to escape.

"I couldn't feel your presence for a while until yesterday." he said as he finally calmed down.

'I was collecting all my energy for the mission today. You will be needing it.' Kurama replied, hopping down from the bed.

"Thank you Kurama."

'Don't thank me yet.'

"Of course. The worst is yet to come."

'...'

'You don't want to jinx us like that Naruto.' the fox deadpanned while Naruto sweat dropped.

"Yeahh maybe I shouldn't."

Jounin vest? Check. Headband? Check. Seals? Check. But he felt something missing and he couldn't figure it out. What was missing?

"My legs feel weird. Something is supposed to be in my pocket." he mumbled, searching his pockets.

'At this point I feel like you're violating yourself.'

"Gosh Kurama you are quite the dirty minded fox."

'You know any other fox?"

"..."

"Yeahhhh no I don't."

uhh okayy this was short. sorry lol I just ran out of juice for this book. I need more inspiration so I'm going to reading other timetravel fics and maybe read some naruto doujinshis or something.
