I opened my eyes slowly and turned over to see Ryan gone. I decided to get up and look for him since I had nothing else to do. I walked out of the room and down the hallway. I heard someone say "yes" with a excited voice. I ran into the living room to see Ella crying and Eli on his knee, proposing. Ryan was standing in the corner of the room.

"DAMMIT!" I yelled

"I missed it. No!" I said with tears in my eyes.

"I couldn't have done it better myself, Eli." Ryan said, with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"ELLA I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!" I exclaimed still with tears in my eyes.

Eli slipped the ring onto Ella's finger. I ran over and hugged Ella. Ryan walked over to Eli, and put his hand on his shoulder. He whispered something into his ear, and Eli's expression changed. He quickly changed back to a happy expression.

Later that night, after a long day of celebrating, I wanted to talk to Ryan.

"Ryan?" I said in a monotone voice.

"Yeah?" Ryan said.

"I want to talk about us."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean us, our relationship."
