First Day with the Plan.

Zack POV

Man, sleeping on the floor hurt my back more than I thought it will be.

I look out the window and the sun was about to rise. With the plan that we made yesterday, I guess I'll be the one making money to avoid suspicion as well as gathering resources.

Today will be a long day

After doing some morning stretches, I walk over to Lisa bed.

Lisa: I'm already awake give me a few minutes.

Zack: Alright.

I walk over to Marcus bed hoping that he is awake so that I don't have to do anything. As I look over to his body, he was indeed sleeping like a rock. I sorry bro, but we got stuff to do today.

Zack: Hey wakeup

Marcus: Noooooo, 5 more minutes.

Zack: No. Get up were busy today.

As I said that I kick Marcus off the bed. With the monster strength that I have, I only gave him a little force. He got a few distance between himself and the bed.

Marcus: WHAT THE HEL- oh so it wasn't a dream.

Zack: Told ya its real.

Marcus: I guess I fully believe you now. Anyway, I'm going to take a bath or shower.

Lisa: Don't Forget to hide your hair and eyes.

Zack: Lisa get up were leaving

Lisa: Noooo, fine

As I saw Marcus wearing the Plague doctor mask to cover his hair and eyes, Lisa finally got out of her bed and change, the three of us went to the main area to our surprise we saw Sass was awake and cleaning up the tables.

Sasha: Oh hey guys, a little bit too early to be out of bed?

Lisa: We could say the same about you?

Sasha: Me? I'm used to waking up early and sleeping late.

Zack: Sleep is very important.

Sasha: Trust me I know. Anyway, what can I help you this early today?

Lisa: know where the baths are?

Sasha: Sure do, its out in the back through those doors. Normally I charge people to use it but Ill lend it to ya for free.

Lisa: Thank you.

Sasha: Anytime luv.

After a quick talk with Sass, the three of us went to the back used the bath. The bath was open to the people of the inn for a price and it was segregated by gender.

After when Me and Marcus finish using the bathhouse, we went back to the Main building to tee Sass bringing food for the three of us.

Sasha: Glade you guys didn't get lost finding the place. Anyway, got your guys breakfast incase you were hungry. Don't worry I cooked it this time. Brother cooks the meal yesterday, so I can tell that it wasn't going to be good. I best be finishing the table before the other guest arrives, holler if you need me.

Looking at the food, I still have paranoia about eating food from this place. Before I could muster up the courage to eat it, Marcus unhook the bottom part of the mask and was wolfing down the food like no tomorrow.

Zack: How's the food?

Marcus: I'm not dead yet.

With Marcus star of approval of the food, I muster up the courage to eat it and it didn't turn out bad as I though. Still needed salt but it's pretty good.

WHAT THE HELL DID I EAT YESTERDAY?

Before long, Lisa joined us and the three of us began eating our breakfast.

When we got done eating, we saw people going down the stairs and went to the back presumably the bathhouse. We left the inn and headed to the Adventure guild to earn money for the inn. We didn't need money, but we still need to keep a low profile and having money by doing nothing will bring up questions or rumors about us. After we reach the front of the adventure guild, I saw that the door has already been fixed. I reach for the door to open it and the entire door came off the wall

As I set the door by the wall, we didn't get much look by many of the people from the outside because it was early. Wish I could say the same for the people on the inside. Many adventures were again looking at us, some were talking to themselves while others are laughing. Whatever the case is, I know its about me and the door.

As we enter the building, Marcus went over to the empty chair by the bar. Lisa and I were the only one who could read so we both went the low-ranking quest board and were surprise how simple the quest is. Helping store owners, finding lost cats, training someone son in sword fighting, killing goblins, ECT. The quest is boring and stupid. I went over to the more advance board to see what the quest is like. Escorting carriages, town investigation, Bandit subjugation, wyvern's subjugation, and so much more. I took a closer look at the bandit subjugation quest.

While nobody is looking, I snatch the quest off the wall and got in line to turn in the quest. Luckily for me, it was early in the morning and hardly anybody was in line. When I got to the front, I was meet with a familiar face.

Ileana: Hello, ready to turn in your quest?

Zack: Is there're anybody else?

Ileana: No just me.

Zack: I'll rather wait.

I got out of line and went to check on Marcus who was just sitting there playing solitary with a deck of cards.

Nothing, found a quest of the guy we already killed. That's why we needed the head.

Hey guys, how does goblin subjugation and medical herbs collection sounds?

Better than nothing I guess. We'll meet you in line.

Marcus and I walk over to Lisa. There were quite a few people in line, so Lisa and I were playing Rock, Paper, Scissors while Marcus look at the other adventures. Not surprising that some of them were looking back at him with weird looks since he's wearing a white plague doctor outfit. When we reach the front of the line, we were meet with yet another familiar face.

Miya: Ohayou

Lisa: Ohayou Miya-san

The look on Miya face was in total shock for a second until she returns to her "usual" self

Miya: So, you know a little bit of bestmen language? I'm surprise not many people in this guild knew it. I'm getting off topic, how can I help you today?

Lisa: Were here to accept some quest.

Miya: Ok, let me see.

Lisa handed her both the goblin subjugation and the herb collection quest. Miya was happy when she saw the herb quest, until she saw the goblin subjugation quest where her smile fades away.

Miya: I understand the herb collection, but do you want to fight goblins? There really STRONG, SCARY, AND AND UGLY.

Lisa: So is him *points to Zack*.

Zack: That's not nice.

Lisa: We could take care of ourselves, you have our word.

Miya: ... Well ok then but be careful if I see one scratch on your body, I will not let you accept even an ant subjugation. You hear me?

Zack: A scratch by them means they are worthy opponents Ms. Wolf? And I have a request.

Miya: Its Miya and yes?

Zack: I have a quest to turn in.

The look on her face is filled with confusion.

Miya: you already have the herbs?

Zack: No.

I handed Miya the bandit subjugation quest. She took one quick glimpse of it and began to lecture me.

Miya: I understand that you are strong, but I can't let go out there and defeat banOHMYLORDWHATSTHAT.

I pulled the bandit leader head that was still dripping blood from the neck with lifeless eyes. Miya quickly grab the head and hid it behind the desk and clean up the blood on the counter. While she was doing that, she got close to my ear and started to freak out.

Miya WHY DO YOU HAVE A HEAD WITH YOU?

Zack: Bandit Subjugation quest.

Before she could retort what I said, Miya gave a sigh and walk over to another table where Ileana was.

Miya: Can you confirm that its *Looks at the quest papers* Maroko Galant head

She gave the head to Ileana which she in turn gasps and begin to inspect the head.

Ileana: Yep it's the real deal. Who gave it to you?

Miya points at us which in turn started to have an argument. For the next three minutes the argument settles down and Ileana started to question us.

Ileana: where did you get umm this?

Zack: I have nothing to say to you.

Lisa: We were traveling, and we saw a group of bandits attacking a noblemen carriage. We intervened the situation and eliminated all the bandits in the area leaving no survivors. He dealt the final blow with the uppercut to the chin which in turn decapitate the bandit you are holding.

Ileana: which noble carriage did you save and decapitate with only your fist?

Lisa: yes, only with his fists and sorry for being rude but we must get going so may we have the reward?

Ileana wanted to ask more question but knew she had to move on or else the line will be back up. She went to the back and grab the money

Ileana: here is the money, 150 gold for the bounty. Please count to make sure it is the right amount.

Lisa grab the money and just pockets it without even opening the bag.

Lisa: Thank you, have a nice rest of the day.

As we are heading towards the building exit, some of the people block our paths.

???: Hey kid, give back the money you stole.

Lisa: I'm sorry, what money did we steal?

???: don't play dumb with me. Give us the money and do what you kids normally do and we'll go our separate ways.

Zack: Or what?

I look around and many of the people had their heads down trying to avoid the situation.

Miya: Leave them alone Gil, they didn't steal anything.

Gil: we saw it with my own eyes. ANT THAT RIGHT BOYS!!!

Apparently the two people behind him were agreeing with him.

Zack: Shale we fight to settle this?

Gil: this kid being brave. Alright we'll fight. If Lose and you must return the money and report yourself to the guards. Win and we'll let you keep the money and walk away. What do you say?

Zack: Ok

As the three of us went to the arena behind the bar, Marcus message us saying what happening. I replied to him that were being mugged and we have to fight. Under the mask, I can feel the disappointment through it.

As we went to the arena, we each took our side and were waiting the countdown. One of the adventure with the nerves look on his face began the countdown.

???: O-ok...u-umm th-three...two...o-one... g-go.

Third POV

On the mark, the three of the muggers began to run towards us at such speed but it wasn't quick enough. One on the right was suddenly encase himself by Lisa barrier and a large sinkhole appear under him. He quickly notices what was going to happen and he began to hit the barrio with his mace with all his might. Sadly, the sinkhole closed up which burying him alive. Lisa walk over to his last position and began to pray.

Marcus didn't even move a muscle. His sentry drone was modified with optic camouflage and sound damping equipment making the drones Invisible. Many of the spectators feared what happening to his opponent as holes on his body appears with blood pouring out. Marcus set the drones to do non-lethal damage. As he walks to his opponent, he can hear sound coming from his mouth. Marcus didn't understand the language, but he knew that it was a cry of plead. Marcus went to his inventory and began to draw as much blood form him but no enough to kill him and stop the bleeding when he is finished.

The final opponent, the one who claimed that Zack's group have stolen money was impale to the ground. Zack have thrown a wooden spear at his foot. The spear went 3 feet deep into his foot which cause him to stop moving. As Zack walked to his opponent, he saw the look of anger in his eyes. His opponent began to swing wildly at him. Sadly, for him Zack grab one of the fists and with a quick strike, broke his elbow and his shoulder the sound of shatter bone echo across the guild. Still in pain, his opponent swings his other arm. Zack once again broke the elbow and shoulder with enough force that the pieces of his bones have price his skin. Even if his opponent has two broken arms, he wanted to make sure that he regretted the accusation that he made.

Zack: Sister, Rope.

Zack grab the rope from Lisa and was making a noose while walking towards him. The eyes of anger have turn into fear as his opponent knew what was going to happen. Marcus making sure he didn't get away, stomps on his kneecaps. With all of courage his opponent had, he cried out to the spectators.

???: PLEASE, HELP ME!!! PLEASE!!!

Zack: Rule number one.

His opponent was confused at first what zack meant, until he recalls the rules of the guild.

Gil: Hey hey hey no hard feelings, ok? You didn't steal the money. Lets just you know forget about it, yea?

After Zack finish making a noose I tossed the rope over the guild support beam and put the rope around his neck. As both Lisa and Marcus finish what they were doing, they sit down and watch as Zack raise the man just enough to where he can breathe if he is on his tippy-toe.

Zack POV

Zack: I wonder what will break first, your body or your spirit.

As I reach into my flail the opponent knew what was going to happened and he brace himself until a familiar voice yelled out.

Justino: STOP THIS AT ONCE!!!

Zack: Hello *waves hand*

Lisa: Good Morning Sir Justino, How can we hel-

Justino didn't acknowledge them as he went to his sword and cut the rope which freed the opponent. After freeing the opponent, he helps him remove the rope around the neck and turn to Zack's group.

Justino: THERE BETTER BE SOME EXPLEANING TO DO!

With arms cross and teeth grinding looking down on us, he was clearly pissed.

Lisa: we were accused by those three for stealing.

As Lisa points the opponent She saw that they were only two. She walks over to the makeshift grave and open the ground which the third opponent was still in case in a barrier and in fetal position mumbling something to himself. As Justino watch the horrifying sight of a man who lost all hope, He walk over to the three of them.

Justino: GUILD MASTER OFFICE, NOW!!!

Zack: Wait.

Zack walk up to the man who he broke both of his arms and a leg.

Zack: I guess you're the winner of the duel. Sister give him the money.

Lisa: Here you go

As Lisa toss the bag of gold to the leader who challenge him, he didn't have the strength to reach for it. He just lay there looking on the guild ceiling and began to cry.

Justino without a moment of hesitation, pick up the three of them and went to the second floor of the building. He opens the door and set each of them on a couch.

Justino: Don't move, the guild master will be here soon.

As the 4 were waiting for the guild master to arrive, Marcus pulled out a deck and the 3 of us played blackjack while Justino was watching out every movement. Hours have passed and Justino is still looking at us. Lisa fell asleep, Marcus is playing cards by himself, and I was looking at my weapon.

Justino: You kids want some food and water?

Zack: Yes.

Justino still have his eyes on us while he was backing towards the door.

Justino: MIYA...ILEANA, WATER PLEASE AND COULD YOU BRING SOMETHING TO EAT FOR THE KIDS AS WELL?

This man is determined to not let us out of his sight

A few minutes went by and a someone knock on the door.

Ileana: Justino you request?

Justino: yes, I did thank you Ileana. Kids drink some water, so you feel hydrated.

Zack: I refuse to drink water that the monster touch.

Justino: monster? But its Ileana she no monster, she wont even hurt a fly.

Zack: I'll die before I drink it.

Justino: oh, kay then umm you want some water?

Marcus looks at him then continue to play cards by himself. He was going to offer water to Lisa, but she was asleep, so he just set it on the table in case anybody wants it. More time have passed bye and the sun was beginning to set. Right when the four of them are about to leave, there was a knock on the door and Justino open the door.

Justino: Guild Master Ohin, what took you so long?

We saw a Behemoth of a man who is 6'5 enter the room who is completely bald and carry a war hammer on his back. The hammer was as tall as he was.

Ohin: Was looking to see if I can find anybody to heal my wife but its no use. Not a single soul can heal her. I don't know how long till she-... friend, can you tell me why they are kids here?

Justino: it's a Long story.

As we gather to hear Justino side of the story. The guild master looks at us and we gave him our side of the story and everything makes since to him.

Ohin: Those three were always fools for antagonizing many new people. Hope they learn their lesson about this. You kids didn't break any rules beside attempted murder, but we'll forget about this, so the guild won't have a bad reputation. Ok?

Zack: OK

Lisa Very well

Marcus: ...

Ohin: What's wrong with him?

Lisa: He can't talk.

Ohin: I see.

As Lisa said that Ohin feel apologetic towards him.

Ohin: Justino take them to the inn and pay for their room. We can't leave them on the street.

Justino: I understand, follow me kids.

As we left the room the moment the door is closed we can hear the man who is full of confidence and hope broke down into tears that echo across the hallway.

Damn, Lisa, Marcus, can you heal the man's wife?

I might just need to diagnose her to see what's wrong and I can tell Lisa on how to cure it.

Good I don't want that man life to be ruin. He seems like a nice guy.

As the four of us walked back to the inn, along the way Justino ask us if we wanted anything on the way. Of course, we politely declined as he was paying out inn for the night. When we enter the building, the atmosphere was completely feeling off as if it was a sense of despair. Marcus, Lisa, Justino, and I sat down in the table corner waiting for Sass to take our order. A few minutes went by and Sass visited out table, but she was completely different. The happy attitude and energized girl this morning have turn a complete 180 turn around. She was completely sluggish and demoralized.

Sasha: Oh...hey... um would you like a room, food, ... or something.

Lisa: do you know where your mom is?

I can see that she is holding back her tears.

Sasha: Me ma *sniff* She is in the back resting.

Alright that's it. Lisa Marcus c'mon let's heal the man's wife.

As the three of us got up from the table we all walked towards the back of the area and found a door. Sasha and Justino follow suit. When we open the door, we saw her family the older brother, little brother and sister, and grandma trying to take care of her. They all look at us with dreadful aura emitting from them. When the older brother was about to say something to us, both Sasha and Justino enter the room and he began to sit back down.

???: Uncle, this is not a good time now.

Justino: I know Erik, c'mon kids lets go.

Lisa: is that Ohin wife?

The family gave us a weird look and it didn't required words to know what was going on.

Lisa: I see, brother lets go as I saw Lisa and Marcus walk over to the wife, the big brother got up and stop them.

Erik: I don't know who you are, but please leave.

Lisa: We know the situation of what happening to her. If you let us look at her, we might be able to save her.

Justino: Give them a chance Erik, these are not normal kids.

Erik: Uncle are you sure?

Justino: have I ever lie to you?

Before the son could retort on what Justino say, he trusts him enough to let Lisa and Marcus pass

Mother's Final Hope.

Objective: Fully cure the dying mother of the Windhelm family.

Reward: Trust of the Windhelm family, Free rooms and food of the Hilltop inn, The hilltop inn will serve better food, The Kingdom of Vlmco Reputation increase. The reputation with the church increase.

Marcus POV

Unique quest? Now I'm cannot fail. Let see what she has

Hey Lisa, can you tell the people to clear out the room

As I sent a message to Lisa, Lisa was telling everybody to leave the room. Everybody left the room beside the man in blue armor and the man who was sitting beside the mother. After a quick talk between those two, the man left the room and it was Lisa, Zack, man in blue, and the dying woman. While I try to hear the women heart, I send the robot to do an x-ray scan of her body. When I listened to her heart, I notice that it was beating at an irregular rate. The x-ray scan shows that she also has brain tumors maybe close to being stage 4. With the skin being pale, she also hasn't had much iron in her diet. I open her eyes and told Lisa to give me light magic here eye was unresponsive and have been clouded for some time. Trying to think of a way to save here, I remember that in the game, there were a potion that clear every aliment in the game even if its uncurable and fully recover your health and stamina. Even if it's a low chance that it will work, I guess I should try it. I reach into my bag and pulled out a light blue potion with white light floating inside it Their was a cosmetic paper wings on the side of the bottle and a red string attach to the cork. Both Lisa and Zack eyes were wide eyeing at me, and Lisa send me a message.

Marcus, I hope you know what you are doing.

Trust me I don't, but she is on barrow time.

I uncork the bottle and white dust began to float out of the bottle follow by a pleasant aroma emitting from the liquid. I can hear the man in blue was asking questions, but I ignored him and gave the drink to the woman after a full minute the potion was completely consumed and a began to check her condition. The sound of her heart rate has become more stable and the drone show no sign of brain tumors or anywhere else on her body. I went to check her eyes and notice that there was color back to them and they were becoming responsive. The final test was her stats.

As I check her stats, everything seems to be normal. I was about to send a message to Lisa until I hear noises from outside. I ignored the noise and pulled out smelling salt and put it under the wife nose. Her eves immediately began opening and she was coughing. The man in blue push me to the side and check on how she feeling I think. The next moment the bald man who we saw earlier open the door and saw her awake. He immediately rushes towards her and knock the man in blue to the side. Then the rest of the family came into the room and started to cry.

Guys lets give them some privacy.

As we were about to leave, man in blue armor stop the three of us and we were force to join in on the family group hug. I would be lying if I said that I did not like it.

Zack POV

Marcus, you know what you just did, right?

Yes, I know. We might never find another one again but I'm curious on how it works. Anyway, Lisa tell them to eat more bread and lots of water. If it happens again, we'll use your magic. Ill check up on them tomorrow to see if it will appear again, but it will probably never happen.

And if it does?

I'll use my medical tools and begin the operation. If that happens, we'll more people will start asking question.

After some time have pass, the family finally let go of us and thank us for what happen. We went to the main area and a group of people were waiting to see what happen to the family. When the family return along with the wife. The building erupted into cheers some were giving the family blessings, others were drinking, some even went to the streets to tell everybody. After the speech that the Guild Master gave, some gave us an applause, others approach us on how we did it, and even somebody try to give us beer. It got to the point where Justino had to intervened. He also took my beer away. There was a party that lasted throughout the night. Both the wife who just recovered and the Guild Master has started to cook and serve beer like no tomorrow even when people were telling her to rest she continue to cook and give everybody food until they were full and more. Brother and sister were both drinking on the job and serving customer their food. Grandma was dancing for a while then went back to her chair and sleep. Justino was protecting us from people who wanted to thank us for saving the wife and stop them from giving beer to us.

Justino: So, let me ask you guys a question. What was the content of the bottle that you gave to my friend's wife?

Lisa: I do not know, ask him.

Justino was asking Marcus questions but he continue to ignore him.

Justino: Why does he never talk. I feel like I'm being ignored.

Lisa: It's because he never learns how to read, write, and speak.

Justino face stiffens when Lisa told him about Marcus.

Justino: how old is he?

Lisa: we are all 10 years old.

Justino: That's not right at all. 10 years of not understanding the most important basic need.

Justino begins to pounder for a bit until he musters up the courage to ask.

Justino: Can I see what underneath your mask?

I removed my mask just enough to show him my face but hide it from the public. I modified my avatar for a bit added more burnt marks and scares across the face. When I show him my face, I saw a tear in his eyes. He saw a kid with burn marks and scares across the fire along with damage eyes. I quickly put my face plate back on and continue to eat my food through the mouth piece.

Justino: Tell me who did this to you? I will hunt them down till the end of the world.

Zack: he is dead. It was the devil

Justino took a moment of what I said until he figured it out.

Justino: Elves, but why they are peaceful race?

Lisa: they are always bad apple on a tree.

Lisa took off her bandages on her eyes and show it to Justino

Lisa: Do not worry I am not blind.

Justino: Can I ask why your friend can't take his outfit off?

Lisa: He will die. He may be free, but his outfit is his prison.

Justino: That's inhumane. Do you at least have a name?

Lisa: We do not have a name. we were never given one. Let me ask you a question. Do you like Miya?

Lisa: I know when your lying so just tells the truth before I tell Miya.

When Justino got out of the chair he walks half-way to the Miya and immediately turn around

Justino: I can't do it

Zack: HEY MS.WOLF LADY, CAN I HAVE SOMETHING TO DRINK?

Miya: SURE GIVE ME A MINUTE, AND MIYA. M-I-Y-A MIYA.

Justino: *WISPER* WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Zack: Be a man.

As I was giving Justino a pep talk, Miya handed us 4 a cup of apple juice. I grab Marcus arm and we walk over to the guild master and watch and see how it goes.

Ohin: Finally, that man would confront a hungry dragon, but not love.

Lisa: You knew?

Ohin: Of course, I'm the guild master I must know about everything. By the way, I know about the hole in the wall and broken doors number one.

I didn't quite get what he said and drink the juice. A minute have pass by and Justino walk towards us and have the biggest smile.

Ohin: She said yes?

Justino: How do you know?

Ohin: it's all over your face. Anyway, lads its time for sleep its unhealthy for your age to stay up late.

Ohin guided us to our new room that have three beds and a table. He quietly closed the door and we each took a bed and quickly fell asleep.

*sit down on a log and lit up the campfire place. Drink warm milk and roast some smores and hotdog*
