Marcus POV

As the I was laying on my back on the ground. The first thing that I notice was bird sounds and the cold windy breeze hitting my skin which I thought was weird and something poking my face.

Zack: C'mon wake up.

Marcus: God dammit Zack can't I have a few more minutes of rest.

Zack: yea no, now c'mon get up and help me wake up Lisa.

As I open my eyes I notice we were outside on a green hill. Along in the distance there was mountains. And some birds flying around the area. And a kid with blond short hair, ragged clothing and one eye is green that the iris is broken. while the other is blue while the both the sclera is a bit yellow-ish

Marcus: Zack... is that you?

Zack: The one and only. That's me. And I know my appearance is that of a kid, and here.

Zack throws me a broken mirror from his inventory. I was confused why he did that until I saw myself in the mirror. I saw a kid with the same ragged clothing as Zack wearing, along with black hair and eyes with the sclera of my eyes have the same yellow-ish tint color. I was beginning to think it was his tricks until I realized that you can't edit another person character.

Marcus: Yo where are we?

Zack: That's something I have in mind. But I have a theory.

Marcus: And the theory is?

Zack: Let's wake her up first.

As I saw Zack walking to what I assume to be Lisa body, he started poking her in the face with a same stick I also assumed he used on me.

Zack: Oooo Lisa, wake up.

Zack keep doing this for about a full minute. During that time, I looked at my inventory to see what I have after building the reactor. After reviewing what I spent on the reactor I concluded that it was a waste of valuable resources. Why can't it just break down rather than exploded. As I finish looking at my inventory I decided to look what Zack was doing.

Marcus: Still not waking up?

Zack: I knew she was a heavy sleeper, but my god she needs to wake up. SCREW THIS.

As I saw Zack going in his inventory he pulled out a container of water, I knew what he was going to do.

Marcus: Be careful she will kill you

Zack: Were burning daylight and we have to discuss where we are.

Marcus: Well it's your funeral. I'll make sure to give you a proper buri-

Before I could finish what I'm about to say. The suicidal idiot pour water onto her face. As I was prepared to watch a murder happen. To my surprise she was still asleep.

Zack: You have got to be kidding me right now. MARCUS HELP ME OUT.

Marcus: Don't yell I'm right here.

As I inspect her body, I notice that she was unconscious along with multiple states effect. I open my inventory and pulled out a light purple potion and handed it to Zack and pulled out smelling salt to force her to wake up. When she smells the smelling salt, she immediately opens her eyes which were lifeless gray eyes and had red veins around it like she was ready to kill someone.

Lisa: What the hell did I smell, why am I wet, and why do I feel like dying?

Zack: Die later and here.

As I saw Zack throw both a small mirror and the potion at Lisa. She was shock to see a small girl with brown hair, gray foggy eyes and wearing the same ragged clothing we were wearing. She couldn't believe what she saw until she looks at her own mirror.

Zack: I know I fool around a lot, but you guys don't trust me that much? Well whatever, anyway drink the potion, we have much to talk about.

As we gather around in a circle. Zack began to speak what his theory was about.

Zack: So, listen up, my theory is that we are in another world.

Marcus: ... Now wait a minute.

Lisa: Hold on Marcus let's hear him out.

Zack: Thank you Lisa. So, hear me out. At first, I thought we got transported outside to the world base, so I didn't think too much about it. Until I notice the wind blowing on my face. Which the game is unable to do that.

As he said that both Lisa and I feel the wind on our skin. I never notice that fact until now.

Zack: Another fact is that the area looks unfamiliar so when I check my map, it was grayed out like its brand new.

Again, both Lisa and I check our map and he was telling the truth.

Zack: and the last key factor is that I saw a dragon when you both were asleep.

Marcus: ... NOW WAIT A MINUTE, HOW SURE ARE YOU IT WAS A DRA-

Zack: I KNOW WHAT I SAW, AND IT WAS A DRAGON MARCUS. JUST BECAUSE I LOOK LIKE I HAVE A BROKEN EYE DOESN'T MEAN THAT I CANT SEE

Lisa: Well I believe him.

Marcus: well I don't, this seems impossible. How did we go from a nuclear reactor explosion to being in another world? IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE ANY SINCE.

Zack: One it's called an Isekai. And two I wish I have an answer for that but let me tell you this. How did your character change everything about itself, including its age? How about the unfamiliar area that we somehow don't know even when we spend hours on this game? And how about the missing logout button in the setting?

Marcus: Alright alright I get it. I'll take your word for it , anyway got any ideas where to go?

Zack: Honestly no, was trying to wake you guys up for a while and with the map being grayed out I don't know where to start.

Marcus: That's a fair point. Let me use my scout drones to see if we can find something.

As I reach into my inventory I pulled out five small drones with camera and a turret gun attach to each of them. The drones may be as small as the size of our hand, but their quick and effect on gathering data and can easily go unnoticed. As I released them into the wild unknown, I pulled out my data pad to allow me to see what they see and update my map.

Lisa: While you guys are doing that I'm going to switch out clothing. I look like a slave wearing these.

Zack: With how things are going, I might believe we are slaves in this world.

After a few seconds, my drown pick up signs of civilization, I recall them back to my position.

Marcus: Alright guys I got something. I'll send you guys the information. Let me switch out my clothing as well.

Looking at my inventory, I decided to wear my SCE-V3 (Standard combat engineer version 3) gear which made me look like a cyborg engineer. Remembering what Zack told me and Seeing how I look I decided to put on an appearance outfit of a "Settlers" commoner outfit to cover up my cyborg armor. As I look at the others to see what outfit they choose. I Saw that Zack is wearing a rusted knight outfit blood stains and spikes on the armor plate, with a metal facemask. Leaving no skin exposed along with streak of blue paint and cloth on the armor. He is also carrying a Halberd weapon with his right hand that have an oversize glove and a flail with three spike ball on his back After finish looking at Zack outfit choice, I saw Lisa wearing a green and white "Settlers" commoner outfit that's under a gray hood with a wooden staff attach to a scale along a black book on the other hand.

Marcus: I send the information and updated you maps. There is a road about a 15-minute walk through the forest. Any question? Good let's go.
