Grant me strength and clarity

In these times of uncertainty

I'm losing my ability to see clearly

The atmosphere is becoming bleary

There are demons surrounding me

Shrieking their incoherent words

Frightening me to my nerves

Though my screams are left unheard

I stand again in an attempt to ward them away

I'm constantly struggling to keep them at bay

They're constantly contending to find a new way

Through the barriers that I've created

They are relentless and motivated

That's highly an understatement

They will never fully be eradicated

Though in their darkness, I am illuminated

Light and darkness dance together

The reality is that you can never fully measure

One without the other

They are one in the same.
