She was working towards everything she wanted until she didn't make it to her interview. When she wakes up, she is given an ultimatum that would change her life and the choice she makes affects everyone she loves.

also, wanda and pietro maximoff are romani and jewish, clint barton is deaf and the twins didn't volunteer because they came from a family of holocaust survivors and HYDRA was a nazi organization so yeah. elizabeth and aaron also said the g-slur which a lot of romani people have said is a slur and shouldn't be used but non-romani people. the abuse allegations against jeremy renner still make me very uncomfortable and scarlett's part in whitewashing an asian character, saying that diversity matters and then doubling back and saying she should be able to play any role even if it's a bipoc role or an lgbtq+ role also doesn't sit wth me and her still supporting woody allen also says quiet a bit.
