Chapter 3: Big Mistake

They had a peaceful landing in the underworld's castle thanks to River's piloting skills with the Tardis.

Lilith peaked out the front door, and with pure sarcasm and annoyance in her tone she said, "Great! You parked in the throne room. Now we have to face Hades."

"Wait I thought you said you two were trying to work things out?" River was very confused

"Key word, trying. Another key words, sometimes miserably failing, and avoiding her for days. Also, she doesn't take kindly to strangers, or The Doctor." Lilith explained

"Me? What did I do?" The Doctor asked, then when everyone just starred at her she said, "You know what, don't answer that."

"Little bird your home! Oh...you've brought visitors. How interesting they are. Tell me, why in my brothers name, would you, do that? Hmm?" A rich voice echoed through the grand throne room

"The Master didn't explain already? Hmm, figures. Well, you see, he decided to let slip that Misty exists and is here. So, I had to bring The Doctor to meet her child. I'm sorry, but my hand was forced." By the time Lilith finishes she felt like Hades was going to slap her, but the goddess didn't

With a straighten back, and long strides Hades made her way over to The Doctor, "You. Come to steel my daughter? Hurt my little bird some more?" Hades looked down upon the Timelord, and grabbed her wrist, "How dare you!"

Hades was not happy, at all. The rage she had was deep. Slow the hold upon The Doctor started to burn, white fire enveloping The Doctor's wrist. However she stood her ground through the pain. Keeping focused eye contact.

Now Annabel really didn't like The Doctor at the moment, but she also didn't want to see her in physically hurt. Well, if it wasn't done by her.

The Bell ran up and grabbed Hades arm, and punched her square in the face, cause no one else was doing anything, "Leave her alone. No one hurts The Doctor, but me."

Everyone gasped, never expecting Annabel to do anything about it. Let alone punch a Goddess...

"Big mistake, what do they call you, oh yes, Lil Bell." Hades voice threatening

Annabel took a step back, her breathe shaky, "How, how do you know that?"

Hades towered over the now introverting Bell, "Because I know everything. I am a goddess, daughter of the original gods Cronus and Rhea. You see my dear, I know everything about you. Oh the stories they tell down here. The stories of The Lost Daughter Of Time, and how she was betrayed by the one she loved the most."

Hades took a step forward as Annabel took a step back, "Stop it. Don't talk about that!"

Hades however, continued, "How she finally learned to love again, only to be picked second. How her dead wife died, leaving her alone to become insane."

"Stop it! Stop it!" Annabel covered her ears and backed up

"Leave her alone!" River yelled and tried to run up, but was stopped in her tracks, frozen by Hades powers, they all were, except Bell

"Aww, do you always need someone to come save you? Well they can't, not this time." Hades laughed a deep and unsettling laugh, "Oh Little Bell, the most recent story is a kicker. How you were once again betrayed the same way by the same love. Maybe fate has other plans for you? Have you thought of that?"

"I-I I don't know anymore." Annabel fell to her knees in defeat

Hades looked at the pathetic girl, but she wasn't done yet, no, she would get this girl to her breaking point, "You know my favorite tale they tell is dear?"

"What?" The Bell mumbled just above a whisper

"The tale that is in play now. The tale of how you lose the one thing that keeps you going. Im going to take it from you, teach you a lesson that you won't ever forget."
