Ayra opens her lunch box and she sighs in frustration . Ayra's mom has put omelet roll in her lunch box . Well, Ayra loves eating eggs but she never likes eggs in her school lunch box .

Ayra quickly closes her tiffin box and she says," Guys today I don't have an appetite to eat ". Erica, Kabir and Jheel looks at Ayra in disbelief because Ayra is a food lover and she usually eats like a beast in recess time .

While Ayra is lost in her own world of thoughts , Kabir snatches away Ayra's tiffin and he starts savouring the tasty omelet roll. Ayra shrieks,"Hey KB stop , don't eat that !".

Kabir stops munching and he declares with a smirk ," Ayra don't worry, I have teeth so I can eat whatever I want ".

Ayra interrupts," KB you are not getting it, you can't eat that". Kabir narrows his eyes and he quips " I know what I am eating , no one can stop me from eating it, not even you ".

Ayra looks at Kabir with astonishment and shock but she stays quiet. Kabir slides a small metal container towards Ayra and he states, "Ayra eat it , I don't want to carry you to the medical room if you further get light headed or faint out of hunger and weakness ".

Before Ayra could give a befitting response , Erica added," Aww this is so sweet of you KB ". Kabir replies," Sweet! really ? Erica you are mistaken . Actually it is for my own good . Ayra has now gained a lot of weight and I want to have mercy on my body specially my back ". Erica and Jheel laughs hard on Kabir's freshly cracked joke while Ayra glares Kabir in pure anger and annoyance .

Kabir senses Ayra's fuming wrath . So, he tries to cool down the situation by saying," Ayra look how much I care for you , I am making a sacrifice by sharing my food with you and here you are not even thanking me".

Ayra yelled,"KB! You want me to thank you , wait I will now thank you". With the speed of light , Kabir got up and ran while Ayra chased him like a hungry beast . Kabir teased Ayra while running ,"Hey hungry tigress catch me if you can!".

Ayra got more fueled by the teasing and she finally caught her prey . Kabir mocked, "Ayra what are you doing ? Everyone in the corridor are glaring at us, stop chasing me imitating a mad in love girlfriend ".

Ayra shouted ,"Enough of your rubbish KB ". A teacher passing through the corridor heard Ayra yelling . So, she scolded the two undisciplined skeletons standing infront of her ,"Kabir and Ayra! you both are again yelling, running and fighting , Is this a fish market! Are you both roadside vendors !!. Kabir you better behave yourself otherwise one day you will be selling garments in a shop ".

Kabir couldn't control his laughter at this point , Ayra elbowed him to stop giggling but Kabir laughed as if Kapil Sharma (Famous Indian Comedian) instead of Miss Tina was himself cracking jokes for Kabir .

Miss Tina got irked by Kabir's charming laughter and she exclaimed, "Today both of you won't attend any further classes and you two will help the gardener in planting saplings in back garden of our school ".

An hour later Kabir and Ayra stood sweating in the sun with their hands muddy . The gardener Ramesh is teaching both of them how to plant the twig of a rose plant . Ayra is looking at the twig keenly while Kabir is yawing in boredom .

Ramesh the gardener then orders,"Both of you plant these twigs with love and care then only roses will bloom on them , look I love my garden and all the plants in it are precious to me . So, kindly don't dare to spoil this garden or else I will complain against both of you to Miss Tina . Now plant these twigs carefully!".

Ayra nodded while Kabir simply glared the gardener . As the gardener left ,Kabir threw the water sprinkler on the ground . Ayra gasped and she exclaimed,"Hey KB the gardener will hear this sound , don't be an idiot . Let's just finish this punishment quickly ".

Kabir questioned with irritation in his voice , "Are we here in the school to plant trees or to study?" . Ayra stood silent for a few seconds then she spoke out, "Kabir look this is our punishment and it is your fault , you laughed when Miss Tina was scolding us and by the way, why the heck were you laughing there foolishly ".

Kabir kept a straight face and he blurted out " Miss Tina was unknowingly predicting my future". Ayra gave a confusing look to Kabir and she asked ,"Can you please elaborate and enlighten me something about this prophecy made by Miss Tina ".

Kabir said with confidence , "Ayra you are intelligent enough to understand it. But on your humble request let me enlighten you a bit . Ayra my dad owns a garment shop . Whenever I get bad grades, he warns me ,"Son work hard in academics or else you will sell garments in my shop like any other salesperson ".

Ayra instantly bursted into laughter and in between the laughs she managed to say , "How can I forget that your dad owns a garment shop. Indeed funny!" . Kabir too joined Ayra in her laughter fit .

At this instant the clouds covered the sky and it started pouring heavily. Kabir exclaimed, "Thank you IndraDev( Rain god according to Hinduism)". Kabir and Ayra quickly ran towards the indoor canteen of the school, the only spot near to the school back garden to protect themselves from the heavy rainfall .

Kabir bought some sandwiches and tea for himself and Ayra. Kabir then noticed that Ayra was completely drenched and shivering. He swiftly took out one of his sports jacket from his school bag and he wrapped it around Ayra's shoulder .

Ayra exclaimed, "Stop acting like those typical Bollywood movie heroes ". Kabir replied , "I don't need to act like a hero because indeed I am one such". Ayra rolled her eyes in response and she remarked ," KB the hero ate my lunchbox .KB when did you turn non vegetarian?".

"I ate your lunch because you feared that someone might spot you eating non veg in the school and catch you breaking the so called 'no non veg in school' rule. Secondly, I love egg rolls , I turned non vegetarian last year to have enough proteins in my diet so that I can improve my strength and become a great kick boxer ".

Kabir continued, "I kept it a secret because my family would have disowned me if they got to know that someone for the first time in their whole clan history ate non veg".

Ayra shrilled," Are you crazy KB !Tumne apna Dharam bhrasht kar liya!!( You corrupted your religion!! ) .

Kabir replied ,"Religion is not only based on food habit it is much more than that. Religion is respecting each other , it is about respecting other religions too .

Kabir spoke further," Now Ayra don't be ever afraid to eat anything non veg in your lunch box because we live in a free country where we can eat and wear anything of our choice . So, now about school rule , see you are bringing egg rolls for yourself , it's your choice to eat or share with me or any of your friend .Most importantly, you are not forcing anybody to eat your egg rolls without their will or consent .Henceforth , you are not corrupting someone's religion .Get that, now chill Ayra".

A sudden loud sound brought back Ayra to reality . Someone had thrown a stone at Ayra's bedroom window . " Ayra get away from the window dear !" wailed a woman in her forties .

Ayra looked fearfully at the shattered pieces of window glass with her body trembling and a cold chill running down her spine.

Note- KB is Kabir's nickname given by his friends. Also this story emphasizes more  on character's emotions rather than general description like appearance,surroundings etc.
