The Seven Elements

13 June 2017

Hey guys. This chapter is going to go into a bit more detail about the seven elements from the silver trilogy. If you haven't read that trilogy yet I recommend you go and do so before reading this. This contains minor spoilers so I suggest you at least get through the Silver Revenger before reading this. As always, if you have any questions, please ask.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shar'lda (Darkness): Shar'lda is the oldest of the seven elements, along with the element of water. Her character matches her element, and is often behind the scenes, whispering in the ears of many humans and dragons. She is in every shadow and every dark corner. She loves to cause trouble, but is rarely noticed for it. The form she prefers is, when wanting to show herself, is a very shadowy human woman, with ghostly clothes and black eyes. She occasionally is found as a shadow dragon when dealing with that. She is a skilled manipulator, and when she wants something she makes others get it for her. There are many things in history that were caused indirectly by her through other people, such as the fall of Rome, and the end of the Second age, as well as others. However occasionally, when things don't go her way, she makes a point of showing up herself.

Pho'ena (Water): Pho'ena, along with Shar'lda, is the oldest of the seven elements. She is the ocean and the rain, and is in every river and lake across the entire globe. She rarely takes a physical form, but when she does she takes whatever seems most suitable at the time. Mostly she exists in a half sleep like state, simply flowing along with time, never really caring what happens around her... or to her. But when enough is enough she does begin to move in a terrifying manner, and has even flooded the entire planet once before.

Luxrient (Light): The third element to come into existence. Luxrient is one element that occupies nearly everywhere. He is present in every ray of sunshine and every torchlight. He is good friends with fire and they are often found together. Luxrient usually takes the form of a human if he needs to do so, or wants to do so, but like any other element he takes the form that is most relevant at the time. He doesn't usually like to mess with the rest of the world however, and prefers to just watch over everything, satisfied with looking through other's adventures.

Tanderan (Wind): The fourth element to enter this world. Tanderan is in every gust of wind and every breath of air. He enjoys the solitary life, flowing along with life without really a worry. Little bothers him. When in physical form he is usually seen as a bird of som sort, he doesn't really care what he ends up as, but he enjoys the feeling of wind on his feathers. However, when upset he can really create a storm. He has a rough relationship with Pho'ena, and their arguments can often be seen throughout the earth.

Gaia (Earth): The fifth element. She is in every rock, stone, piece of soil and sand, in the trees and plants. Some say she is the most important of the seven elements, though each plays a vital role. Gaia is the quietest of them all, even more so than water, and doesn't really pay attention to what is going on at the surface at all. Though recently she has started becoming more and more active. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, all of them are evidence of her activity. She prefers the form of any creature that's close to the ground, close to the earth, and enjoys the peaceful beauty she is responsible for.

Terrinian (Fire): The sixth element to grace the world. Terrinian is in every flicker of flame, in every furnace and every bushfire. He has a close friendship with light and they are often found together in the physical world. Out of all the elements, he is the most active. He takes the form of either a brown haired human with red eyes or a large dragon with black scales and red lines of fire running through him. He enjoys walking through the human world, and occasionally takes a 'small' piece of action. His temperament matches his element and he is often easily riled up, and anyone that does make him angry should be wary.

O'hen (Time): The youngest and arguably the most influential of the seven elements. O'hen watches over everything from afar, rarely taking action unless he really has to. He knows everything, sees everything, from the point when time began to the point when time ends. He knows every possibility, every chance, every option and where that could lead someone. And he knows it for every single being that has ever existed, including his fellow elements. While the other six elements are essential for the living and survival of the planet. He is the element that is essential for the death of the planet. For without time, nothing would end. Not even life.
