Hey guys. Seeing as I'm looking to get a book published in the next couple of months (Hopefully) I decided that it would be good to begin to get myself out there, and let people know a bit more about me. I know it's usually not a good idea on these sights... but that won't matter once my book is out. So, here goes...

My real name is Caleb McLean

I'm a 18 year old guy who recently graduated high-school, for those who didn't know. 

I live in the south-west of Australia with my Mum, Dad, two brothers and sister. We live out on a cattle farm in practically the middle of nowhere. At the moment, in summer, everything is incredibly dry and brown, but once winter hits it's like the ground is painted green. The change is quite startling.

We live reasonably close to the beach, so have the freedom to drive down whenever we want (Though I'm not a huge fan of it anymore). I enjoy being active, my favourite sports are indoor beach volleyball and hockey. I like tennis as well but rarely play it. I have a scuba diving licence, and have done diving at shipwrecks, which is probably one of the most amazing things I have seen. I enjoy caving and abseiling as well, and hiking. Anything where I get to explore. Really like mountain climbing. Love mountains.

As for my more lazy hobbies, I enjoy a good computer game (At the moment into league of legends), and watch the occasional anime show. Favourites being Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online. I enjoy reading books, if you didn't know, and am currently reading 'The Blood Mirror' by Brent Weeks <-- my favourite author at this time, the one I want to write like. My favourite movies... well I enjoyed How to Train Your Dragon, Lord of the Rings, and movies like it, and I very much enjoyed Rouge One, the new starwars film. I also like the Marvel and DC movies... but am more into Marvel, (Favourite's Doctor Strange).

I started writing when I was around ten, with The Shape Shifter, and finished it a couple of years later, all hand written. I was a teacher's pet through school, hated getting in trouble so avoided it as much as possible, and was successful most of the time. I passed all my subjects, some barely, but probably could have tried a little harder in school. In the end though, I got a reasonable score, and have the opportunity to get into any uni in WA I want.

I enjoy hanging out with my friends, and I enjoy being by myself as well. Sometimes it can be hard to get a balance between the two. I am an introvert, and spend a lot of my time simply thinking, about anything really, from books to what I'm going to be doing next weekend.

For those who don't know, I am a Christian, and like to consider myself a rather strong one, though I'm far from perfect. I enjoy debating, but hate when the debate turns into an argument. I'm in the opinion that if someone doesn't agree with you, let them not agree with you. We all have the freedom to think how and what we want. No point in trying to change someone's mind when all you are going to do is upset them and push them further away.

Okay, that is all I can think of for now. This is also partly in response to all those tags I've been getting ;) So consider this my entry for that, though I won't be tagging anyone for it. So, tell me what you think, and feel free to ask questions. I won't guarantee an answer though.
