Earthquakes begin to happen frequently in places they never had before.  Rivers change, oceans swell, and intense storms ravage the face of the earth.

For once, it seems it's not because of the sun, or lack thereof.  The problem lies much deeper, and all because of unbridled greed.

Status: Never fully realized.  Told the first few chapters and moved on to something less dark and destructive.
