Do you even care how much you broke me? Do you regret it, or do you enjoy knowing you had that much power over me? Do you regret loving me in the first place? Did you ever? Did you ever fucking love me? Or was this just a joke to you? Was I just a joke to you? What did you want from me? Why was I not good enough for you?"

Tears streaming down my face, I finally glanced up to see his reaction. To find him silent and expressionless, no sign of remorse darkening any feature of his perfect face. When he caught me looking, his gaze held mine for a quarter of a second, before he turned on his heel, and walked out of my life once again.
