After Izuku previous relationship with Camie that cheated on him soon he starts dating Momo which led people to saying that she's cheating on him as well just to make him feel more heartbroken.  Izuku trust Momo as she wants to prove that she hasn't during the time that she hasn't cheat on him with a lie detector so that she can put the rumors which Izuku doesn't believe to rest as he agrees as they both take it. Soon after they took it they have decided together to have a normal life without hate.
